In my truck at the moment just went through it is a sunshade, tire pressure gage, 1 sweatshirt, 1 zip up fleece, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of jeans, 1 leather belt, 2 carhartt t shirts, 2 pair underwear, 1 pair of steel toe boots, 1 tool box, 1 socket set, 1 jumpbox/airpump, 1 set of jumper cables, 2 ice scrapers/ brushes, 2 seat covers for the front seats, 2 first aid kits, 1 bottle of advil, 1 gallon of water, 2 boxes of granola bars, 4 usb-c phone chargers with cigarette adapters, 1 k&n face mask, 2 pairs of winter gloves, 1 soldering iron, 1 roll of solder, 1 volt meter, 2 boxes of electric crimp connectors, 1 spare turn signal bulb, 1 license plate bulb, 1 pair work gloves, 1 box of spare fuses, 1 blanket, 1 cigarette lighter powered heated blanket, 1 air mattress with pump, 100yds of paracord, 2 box cutters with a 100 pack of blades, 4 ratchet straps, 1 tow rope, 1 box of disposable hardwarmers, 2 flashlights, 1 android tablet, 2 baseball caps, and 1 winter hat.
I know I sound like a crazy person carrying all this stuff around but I live in Wisconsin and if you get caught in a snow drift in a bad snow storm in the middle of nowhere you can be stuck for days before you get found if you have no cell service or your phone dies you have to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best

Windshield reflector visor for keeping the car cool(er) during the summer, few empty plastic water bottles and old wiper blade that I keep forgetting to take out and throw away and packaging for the replacement in back seat. Trunk/boot has an air pump that runs off the cig lighter for if have an emergency, then the spare tire and it's tools in the hidey-hole. Mask and sun-glasses in the tray under the radio/console, bag of tobacco goes in and out if going to need to roll a cig at some point in the day but doesn't live there. '19 Nissan Rogue (sport).
I try to keep my cars un-cluttered, but that habit only started after having a '91 Civic (hatch) and realizing it was full of trash after just a couple of fast-food bags, lol.
