Hey Friends! Welcome
In today’s video I’m sharing with you how I transformed our garden bed in our greenhouse into a fun turtle town. We recently were given two red footed tortoise from a friend that raises them. I wanted to create a fun turtle oasis for them with a built in garden for them to eat out of. I’m super excited with how this turned out I used my @OnefinityCNC CNC to cut out most of the pieces and finished all of the wood with TotalBoat Lust marine varnish. I also used black diamond pigments and TotalBoat epoxy in this project. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this video in the comments. We still need names for our turtles and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below help me name our new friends.

Those clear walls need to be higher. They won’t last long, if they couldn’t climb it already. Clear walls also may make them really want to get to the other side

looks great! There's a few things off though. First those tortoises need UVB it's essential to their health. They need one of the long tube UVB not the coil or compact ones. Glass blocks UVB so they aren't getting any. Second, tortoises do much better with a heating lamp as opposed to a heating mat. It's more natural and has better IR lengths. You want a Halogen bulb (doesn't have to be marketed towards reptiles) and a reptile lamp with a dimmer.

Redfoots!!! You will love them. You may want to increase the wall height, or lower the soil bed. Maybe even go so far as to add something overhanging the wall at the top, when they get older & bigger. Redfoots are surprising good at climbing. I speak from experience, when my 7 year old Redfoot climbed over the 2 feet walls of his habitat.
