Every classic band ( exception Beatles but they had George Martin helping) has at most 10 -20 classic songs. Stones have about 150 the world knows and a catalogue of 400 plus. Never see anything like it again. Greatest songwriting duo in history.
30 years old and still incredibly modern. I discovered this song and the accompanying album 4 years before my first Rolling Stones Concert in 1998 (over 20 concerts to date) and this album is still my favorite to this day. I got married to Sweethearts Together in 2021... what a great band...
The Stones rightly get their most love for the periods 66-69 & 69-74 but there’s been some real classic Stones since in parts. I really liked this track at the time & now. Dreamy Skies on their latest is also great. (Plus Sweet Sounds of Course!)
