He was absolutely Rolling Stones mad and you could not say nothing against them, not that I would have tried to be honest, At the time I did not appreciate how good they are because of my age, but now I understand what he used to say about them. I'm glad I kept all the vinyl albums he bought and I now cannot stop playing them, outstanding artists, I wish I could tell him he was right. You are spot on about the drumming of Charlie Watts, I have watched many shows and he is very underrated In my opinion. Keep enjoying their music, I certainly will.

I know Paint It Black from my grandfather, born in the 1950s, whom is probably my favorite person in the world. Always having fun, always looking after the family tree. I remember listening to this nonstop as a child, and I’ve finally figured out the name of the song upon my history teacher showing us the song. 1960s...sometimes I really sit down and think about what life was like for my grandpa back then, and if he misses those days. I’ve looked through all these old journals and books he still has... Time flies so fast. He’s growing old, just like The Rolling Stones. While they are all still rocking, seeing them up there in their 70s and 80s... it just makes me think about the future so much...and all that has changed.

I think that drug thing was just hype to make them seem badass. In realty they never did drugs in a big way because if they did they would all be dead by now. The only way Jagger is that lively and active in his 60s is that he led a life of fitness and healthy diet. The Stones drug bust was probably a publicity stunt to get headlines.

Man, the fact they're still looking and sounding that good at that age makes me jealous. Especially with the amount of drugs they've gone through.
I think that drug thing was just hype to make them seem badass. In realty they never did drugs in a big way because if they did they would all be dead by now. The only way Jagger is that lively and active in his 60s is that he led a life of fitness and healthy diet. The Stones drug bust was probably a publicity stunt to get headlines.
