None of the costumes, actions, expressions, emotions, or words of the people there can be taken at face value. If someone said "I love you!" at a Bordello you would not trust the words. Annie is basically saying through both the video and the music that she has reached a point in her life where she can't and won't be manipulated anymore by those who profess love.
