Oh this was ga great reaction! I want you to do a reaction to so many of Annie's songs. I suggest the original video of "I Need a Man" (have the lyrics on hand for just that one song). And seriously, I suggest that on the same show, follow up with "Savage". There are these women in purple (5 of them that I can recall) and in Savage, in the same dress, the personna's mood takes a 180° turn. Savage has I think my very favorite written line in a Eurythmics song. In the song "Beethoven" (again, you need to see the *fabulous video) that purple dress comes out of the closet at the very final scene, and you are left to wonder, is Beethoven happening before or after, this personna's time when she was popping up on a little nightclub's stage to sing "I Need a Man"? It's hard to decide.
