One important thing I have learned from watching videos about Eve, is that you can't trust ANYONE in this game.
Not, even members of your own faction.
It is rife with lying, backstabbing, thieving ass-hats.
If you aren't paranoid when you start playing. You will be soon after.
Eve I played for several years and got fed up with elite players always attacking and destroying any ships including unarmed shuttles.
Ahhh EVE online AKA spreadsheets in space :) like yourself it's been a long while since I have played, use to be a SRO with EVE Uni which I would recommend to any new players, like the EVE content keep up the good work

You are going to struggle with PI in high sec though.

Not planning to give up on Elite any time soon. I just want to try other games (as well as Eltie) and see how it goes
CMDR Cryptography yeah it's got me thinking the same. We defo don't want to lose D2EA, he does THE most in-depth Elite coverage!!! I really hope that Frontier are aware of what they are currently doing to a large very vocal section of their community. And if they are fully aware, that they sort this out as soon as possible!!!

I feel your pain , brother. But you’re right, it’s time to let ELITE DANGEROUS go. Until they get there shit together. It just so frustrating, you start to grind and build, update, modify, advance in rank and they nerf it. Material that was plentiful and are now level five valuable, you can’t find anymore. She was beautiful game. I will save all your videos for reference if I ever go back to Elite again. Thanks for all your hard work in Elite. So I will follow you on eve to see what it all about.

IF space travel was possible I don’t think tax would exist anymore due the utilization of antimatter of anti gravity energy tech....
a) space travel is possible... we are doing it currently b) tax wouldn't just go away because better technology exists

No not at all. but as i mentioned in the last hello Dave, I will be trying out other games. But i have no plans of abandoning Elite.

anyway... PI in high sec is totaly useless... you dont make enough ISK to pay for all taxes and transactions you need to do...
Yeah, I agree. I had a friend that could only make it worthwhile in wormhole space. Never tried it myself.
While you will make way more in null-sec for sure, you can make a decent haul in high-sec still. It's not going to cover a PLEX a month, but it will pay for a decent chunk of ships. You will want a setup producing P2 product from extraction all on one planet, so you're only paying an export tax once.
