i swear you have a great attitude when it comes to eve and how to relate to newer and experienced players. I love watching your videos. no matter what the topic.
delonewolf, is your corp public/recruiting? Newbro miners and manufacturers could really use a place to go for information, content, guides, saftey, etc. I think you would be perfect for that kind of leadership role, your pretty much doing it already with these awesome videos. It can be very overwhelming for new players but you provide a good direction. I dont even mine but I would love to support something like that. Imo you should think about it if your not already. Maybe even make a cool newbro guide to advertise it.
Thanks so much for the help delonewolf. I am trying to set up a new corp and there is few videos helping us start out. I just found ya and even though 5 years later you have my sub :)
Their is alot of cool stuff you can do in EVE, a few as delonewolf described and i thought i would put a few here that i do (Most in HS). 1) Planatary interactions in 0.5 system, just T1 and sell for profit. 2) When possible i purchase goods in HS stations and sell at LS stations for profit. 3) I make goods with a high margin rate and sell 4) Attack mining fleets and salvage the elite recks (solo, loads of fun) 5) Currently i am getting my gallente reputation up so i can get R&D agents on my side. And as an addon to buying and selling in HS / LS i am also making my own system for market statistics, expenses and profit with EVE Crest, to see what is worth spending time on and what is not. Their are tools out their that exist for this task but they are not very good in my opinion, so that a nice side project for learning.
For Manufacturing Only costs 1512 Fuel Blocks per week. Add research adds additional 1512 Fuel Blocks, add Reprocessing for 0 cost reprocessing as a must costs 1680 Fuel Blocks. Block cost 19500 Isk - Weekly Running Cost 91.7 Mil Isk per week. In my Corp we make our own fuel cells and make 100 Mil isk a week profit
the fuel cost is for an citadel right? but till today i dont understand the difference between POS and citadel. when should i choose to run a POS and when should i choose to run a citadel??
love your vids as always, but as i have lived most of my EVE existence in wh space, i do think that, for a small 1-5 human player corp (20-25 ingame alts probably when in WH) who really can't mount a defence, a C2 or C3 with a low sec static is much safer, tho logistics will be a pain.
Thanks for your videos, have always enjoyed watching them. Was wondering if your station is public then do you receive isk when other players use it with taxes on services and is it lucrative?
My taxes are 0,01% so it's not very lucrative. The market now has a minimum of 1% and 50% of that is taken by npc taxes, it helps a lot with the fuel costs.
I really think this "highsec carebear" mindset is not deserved for alot of things. yes you will prob do less money but its not allways about the money, but about fun and trying stuff and all that. i havent played in 2 years alltho i m getting back into it in a few days for some industry. For me personally, i prefer high sec industry to lowsec or nullsec simply because its more fun to me, i can manage a corp, operations and whatnot without a issue. in nullsec i allways felt super limited simply because everytime you need something you are depending on someone else to fly things over. You want to try a new ship? You ll need to wait for this guy to fly it over. You want to sell stuff? You need to wait for this guy to do it for you. And depending on his online times, you ll need to wait quite a bit for everything you plan to do and i simply dont like this. (maybe having your own jump freighter will change this) But till then i like to be able to do stuff on my own whenever i want them do be done.

If you are doing empire bordering low-sec, you could use a T2 industrial. If you are doing deep low sec or null, then a Jump Freighter becomes the ideal choice, assuming you have a cyno alt to light the way. What are your (or any other small corps for that matter) plans or advise in case some professional assholes decide to include your little corp in their random wardec rotations? Especially in case of structure defense with the upcoming Upwell changes... if or better when it happens - just cut the losses, pack up and relocate?
we have a base of operations in an npc station in Gallente space and in Soliture, a highsec island, after the moon mining project i'm probably going to make a third in Minmatar space, when wardecked we jumpclone around to avoid giving them targets.
I'm seeing open-to-the-public industrial stations in nearly every hi-sec. Why own and operate a station there if I can just rent an office for my corp and have all the benefits without the investment?
The owner can kick you out of acces at any moment on a whim. Chances are maybe low. But definately worth keeping in mind. I own my own structures with clone bys to jump between clones because I am paranoid of the owner revoking my acces to my 3+bil clone at any moment.
if you're going to do industry it would be the Manufacturing Raitaru. I keep most ships and higher value items in the Astrahus though. That one has the clone services.
