Chad started this channel with the idea of building a car with what you have laying around in your door yard. The channel showed people who have no money that they can also build a car without all the expense !! so now that he has made it, and is a rich man he still stay true to what started and made this channel famous. so professionals out there who don’t like that he doesn’t build these cars with tons of money, well that just isn’t what bad Chad or this RUclips channel is about !!!! Keep that in mind when you make all these rude comments that he don’t know what he’s doing and he should do it this way, and he should do it that way because that is not what this channel was started for !!!! Thank you bad Chad and Queen Jolene for keeping it real and not letting money change who you are !!!! ❤️✔️✌🏼😎💯🏆🏆🏆🏆

Hey, Chad. I was doing something similar to the way you're applying tape (not on a car, however). But I ended up buying a little roller tool for wallpaper seams that I used to press the tape firmly in place vs. rubbing my fingers on it. The wheel on the roller tool is about 2" wide and medium soft rubber so it really pushed the tape into the crevices I was applying to. Anyway, I think your process is a good one and since you'll likely do this again on other builds, perhaps the little rubber wallpaper seam roller should be part of the "Bad Chad Seam Sealer Method". Just a thought.

Hey Chad and Jolene, it is your car, do what you want with it, if Jolene is ok with it, do it, and stop wasting your time explaining it to a few clowns that do not agree with you. Tell them to do their own car and do it they way they want to, and if they do not like it, do not watch the videos.

I dont see a problem with what Chad is doing. It does look cleaner. And i know what hes talking about the seam sealer being hard to look at cause that stuff doesn't go on all that great. And to the people hating on what hes doing, just cause hes doing it his way doesnt mean its cheaping the car. We all know or should know that once carpet and other interior stuff goes in you're never gonna see the shit anyway. But if wanted to take the time to make it look better underneath the carpet then thats awesome. Its not hurting a damn thing what hes doing. The car is seamed sealed from underneath. To be seam sealing in that tiny ass car woud have be a mess all for what cosmetic? Awesome video jolene. And keep up the awesome work Chad ,Nate and Doug. Hopefully Nate is doing ok we haven't seen or heard from him in a couple of videos. Be nice if you could let us fans know where they might be if not in the shop or reason. Just so we dont think nothing bad happened when we don't see someone for a little bit. Lol

Other customizers will tell you about their awesome idea for a build and inevitably some of their most cool ideas turn out to be difficult to pull off and they'll give up and go with something less impressive.
What I really admire about "Galahad Chad" is his dogged refusal to surrender his cool ideas and allow mediocrity to sneak under the walls and into the city bringing all their "alternative" boring ideas!!

One pointed her boney, emaciated finger at me and said "that was a living breathing animals you monster" to which I replied, "at least my shit doesn't reek of cabbage"! OH!

I think the tape alternative looks really good, but I'm sure that seam sealer would, in the long term, keep moisture from getting through the seams and into the interior. The tape does not penetrate down into the cracks of those seams like a good seam sealer does. People who do silicone caulking and know how to smooth out the caulk bead could show you how to do the same thing with seam sealer and make a very neat end result that holds up to weather and moisture much better than tape can.

seam sealer tape cost about twenty to thirty dollars USD depends on size/ width here. but the time it saves is immeasurable if you charge by the hr or if you have to pay by the hr. covered by bed liner or rock guard looks good either or.

That sound deadening is a NECESSITY on a car with the engine so close and car so low - the heat and noise will be excessive- if you cut to fit within the bead it will defeat the noise reduction- since you've done so much work to the floor, you might consider a one piece mat so it could come out easy - the thin carpet will definitely need some help to fend off heat and sound

If they are putting carpet down then seam sealer was the better choice. Hockey tape is porous and so is rock guard. It’s going to rust the unprotected floor and gas fumes will get in the car.

Quality detail work takes time as you know and your product looks good. Cover as much of the interior with the mat insulating material as possible. It will make a big difference by reducing the noise and improving the driving experience. Looking forward to seeing the completed projects, all three of them.

Woohoo, yet another Bad Chad product to add to the Bad Chad Chrome, now we have Bad Chad seam sealer. I think its a good start to a newline of marketable products.I'm more than convinced this will work very well. Maybe Chad will make a 'test here' piece to prove or disprove his method. I tried seam sealing with a brush, worse crappy looking part of the whole very beginner quality job. Not ever doing that again in an area easily seen.
