I got ST Pros in a trade with a friend of mine, and I stuck them in the closet for a year. One day, I decided to take them out and try them, and I was seriously impressed. These are my new gamers. They are forgiving and long. I also have 2021 TM P790s. I’ve never got on with those clubs. They feel harsh. I never can tell when I hit them right. The ST Pros are longer too. The only issue I have is getting used to how far they go. The Rifle Tour Flighted shafts are phenomenal for me. The clubs are fairly workable for what they are. I did have to go on EBay and find me a 4 iron and an A wedge. You really need those to match out the distances on these clubs. I also think they feel great coming off the face. So my choice is ST Pro over P790.
I'm a 55 year old high handicap golfer. Last week I had a custom fitting and tried both these irons amongst others. I ended up ordering the Callaways as I felt I had much more control of the club in my swing. The results from the sim proved this as I had much closer dispersion and a slightly longer shot. Interestingly, if I miss hit a shot, the Callaways gave me a better result than the TaylorMades.
Its so bizarre, you watch one video and someone says the rogue st pro are the softest most forged like club they ever hit. Then you watch this video and they say it feels hollow......i guess its just subjective
I mean Callaway release irons every year with a different name and similar technology. Although they have different names (Mavrik, Epic, Rogue etc), they are largely the same. It's the Apex irons that are on 2 year cycles that have a higher price.
@@GolfmagicPlus your find there on a 2 year cycle as well, rogue pros this year, Mavericks 2020 and original rogues 2018, epic were before that. Just think it’s a bit unfair on callaway that your saying they will be out of date by next year when next year they will be bringing the new apex if anything

Had my st pros for two seasons now. Still look immaculate ( at least two rounds a week all year round) Not likely to give them up. Sensational

I went with Rogue ST Max OS and they have added 20 - 25 Yards to my Iron shot and a lot more forgiving.
Great to hear!

Yearly cycle? The last rogues were 2018, 4 years ago what makes you say there bringing new rogues out next year?

Mizuno 921 forged are the best in this class, I had the new P790’s but they felt hard and definitely not soft forged feeling.
Hard to beat Mizuno!
Mizuno 225 > both
can't argue with that!
Nothing feels like mizuno
The mizuno is £70 per club more than the callaway!
@@unshavengamer5542 worth every £
@@derinrita7760 I play about 2-3 times a month, don’t think I can justify it
I thought the 790 offset felt like shit. St pro was so blade like .
