So just made this! Used half a peach I picked up on vacation, a handful of our home grown raspberries, a squirt of Choc Zero peach syrup, a squirt of liquid stevia, a scoop of strawberry isopure protein powder (because we all need to hit our protein goals), a splash of vanilla nut pods and a 1/4 C. of frozen blueberries. Blended and topped with more fresh picked raspberries, coconut, choc chips and cinnamon blueberry keto granola. This is so refreshing and amazingly filling on a steamy summer morning! Thanks for the idea!
The problem with blending fruit is that you break their molecules and that frees the sugar it naturally contains. Basically, those 50 gr of sugar you mentioned could just easily be part of the liberation from “natural sugar” to “free sugar”.
This looks awesome, can't wait to try! Are you trying out gray hair for health reasons? I am now gray because of toxins in hair dye but it's hard to swallow 😕

That does look delicious. You should make sure to pick up some avocadoes when you're on a grocery haul, along with the ingredients for a low carb smoothie bowl. Nothing like avocadoes and smoothies for a healthy breakfast or dessert When the gwams come over for ice cream, or smoothies, I hand them each an avocado and a spoon. Once they eat their avocadoes, we all go outside and plant the avocado seeds in the backyard. Then we go back inside and they they have their choice of either real ice cream or low carb smoothies (treats I provide them in return for eating avocadoes).
When I was younger, before low carb was a thing, I used to go to a frozen yogurt shop and get this massive frozen yoghurt with all kinds of toppings. Similar concept. The amount of calories in that thing would be off the charts and my 20 something self thought I was being “healthy” 😬
Upon looking it up 1C of Raspberries (fresh) is 5g of sugar. In the brand she uses its 6g. In relation to carbs, which is what I'm assuming she's focusing on, according to Carb Manager 1C of fresh is 6.6g NET Carbs. Which is still less than her frozen. I guess to answer your question, No. Not all raspberries are the same. Kind of weird in my opinion but I also dont know specifics behind the freezing process and if it makes a difference in the sugar/carb content. Hope this helps!

I live in Montana and we have food trucks that sell Açaí bowls and they are delicious but very high carb and sugar. So I don’t eat them often.

Try adding frozen Açaí packets. Just make sure to get the one with no sugar. Trader Joe’s makes one.
Açaí is extremely high in carbs.
@@lelo46 100 g of unsweetened açaí is 4 carbs and 3 fiber. Easily fits in an under 20 carb whether you do total or net carbs.
