I chose the mustang but the challenger is great also. Some people like the more muscular look of the challenger. I went with the sportier look of the mustang. You can’t lose with either vehicle.
Honestly for me, I always felt claustrophobic in the mustang, great car, but I love the torque of the scatpack and the muscle car look. It’s really just preference, there all great.
Both are mean looking 🔥🔥🔥 the challenger is timeless 👌🏾 I'll go with the stang

Autocross is prob one of the worst things you could do to your car. Every event features between 5 and 15 drag style starts followed by a min or more of wide open throttle alternated with threshold braking followed by zero cool down, just baking in the sun. You probably see 30 mustangs to every 1 camaro and probably 100 mustangs to any 1 charger and any given event. I never see them overheat or go into limp like other cars, I never see them not finish an event and a good number of them are between 10 and 30 years old and have spent their lives getting the bejesus beaten out of them. Very very impressive cars.
I love my 2022 Dodge Challenger 392 R/T Scat Pack. It's finished in Smoke Show Gray with Red Calipers and a Sunroof. On the inside I have the Alcantara Ruby Red Seats and Red Doors with the red stitching. My car is absolutely beautiful asf.
Hearing that mid muffler delete makes me want to go out and have it done to my car. It sounds amazing how it is. But a little louder would definitely send more chills down my spine.
I can't tell you how many times a 5.0 pulls up on me and revs their engine, and each time, it makes me sick to my stomach that my car isn't that loud. But I do love this car to death.

Actually, it should rt VS gt. But dodge has to use the step up version to even compete and compare.
Two entirely different cars. I own 2018 S550 GT w/PP1, 6 speed. This is a great “sports” car. The Dodge is a highway cruiser. Whatever blows your dress up! Happy motoring 🤠

My brother just got a 2024 gt and I gotta say the way that the car accelerates is actually crazy especially w the performance package but the challengers big daddy and a timeless masterpiece. They both are great in their own ways !

Power is what determines top speed. That as well as any losses (e.g. drag) and design specs (e.g. weight).

Aside from the new techs, having a smaller engine but delivering similar power and performance, Mustang is better.
It's like comparing an familiar looking big fat dude versus someone who looks like a smaller newbie but they pack almost the same punch. Only you need to feed the big fat dude more. 😅
I test drove the mustang gt today, I really really wanted to like it, but with how small it feels it killed it for me. I wouldnt even be able to fit someone behind me in the back, i know thats not the point of the car but its pretty much useless besides putting stuff back there. I never got to full theottle it but about 80% thottle it didnt feel that exciting, and the paddles had a big delay between when i hit the paddle and when it actually shifted, some of the shifts felt kinda sloopy. The scat pack felt faster and felt more exciting, the paddles were quick and the shifts were smooth and punchy. I know the scat pack is quite a bit heavier but to my butt dyno it felt much faster than the mustang

Corvette is a race car not a muscle or pony car. You would compare a Corvette to a car like the Dodge Viper even though the Dodge Viper eats the Corvette alive.

Getting any of these V8 cars with an automatic is like getting a neutered pitbull. Just why? The experience is in the shift, not in being babied.
Your wrong. The base mustang gt with manual trans weighs less than the 18-23 models optioned out the same way, about 3750 lbs. I wish this myth of the new mustang weighing 3900 lbs would stop.

Having driven both cars, I would choose the Mustang. Both are great cars but not having a drop top at a reasonable price is a deal breaker for me.
You can get a nicer interior than what this one has .

CHALLANGER ALL THE WAY.Reasons first fastest 0-60, second fastest 1/4, Third last being made, forth and best will only go up in value..Now gt nice car, but ford changes them all the time and only getting better.Next they are not stopping the model

S650 ford has built them waaay better to last had 3 Challengers my last one was poorly built never again will I pay for junk . Great engine and transmission but that it plus you can upgrade s650 unlike 392 for better costs

@@hesst0n604 yeah said engine and transmission was great but had a lot of issues and imperfections. I let wife drive my car so went with 10speed unfortunately. The 10speed in s650s is pretty nice gotta say
@@user-nh4je9ul7f ok I have a personal question. I was looking at a 2024 gt manual for 39. But then I found there are a lot of 2023 manual scats for 40k and would that be a better pickup based off the manual alone ? Also there’s a new rt manual for 28
@@hesst0n604 the R/T is underwhelming alittle . I loved the scat but had to make moves. The mt 82 isn’t terrible in 24s personally I’d go with the 5.0 24 it’s new lower interest rate. If mopar is dream car then I’d get scat but your paying 10+% for used and can build the coyote up safer

Even though I have a Challenger. The Mustang has a factory built in wide body vs the Challenger after market looking 5” ugly Poorly executed wide body design.
The Challenger standard body looks cleaner to me.

This is not even close.(1) the mustang and the Camaro are pony cars with very few differences, Dodge is the only company that made American muscle vehicles.(2) the new mustang is just fugly and the iPad dash is beyond disgusting.(3) the Dodge Challenger isn't a stripped down pony car like the Camaro and the mustang, it's a big powerful and proper American Muscle Car.(4) the interior in the Challenger is the perfect mixture of Old School American Muscle and new age tech, the same goes for the entire Dodge/Mopar lineup.(5) the
Dodge/Mopar brand represents American Muscle and it speaks to true car enthusiasts, ford is very soccer momish and they have an iPad fetish. I could go on and on but I'll keep it short. There is simply no way someone with taste and the urge for an aggressive brand representation would ever buy one of those new fugly mustangs, especially over a true American Muscle Car. I'm going to keep my Hemi's until the day I die.
