    I’ve seen already 3 Dark Horses in person and they look really good. Other than the tune the other factor that is making people stick to what they currently are driving is the price. Over 50k+ for a GT is alot and if your thinking about a Dark Horse your looking at 75k+

      I saw a DH here in central NJ with MSRP of 66k+ with 5k over sticker for 71k ..that was 2 weeks ago ..I thought 5k over wasn’t bad even though I’ll never pay over msrp don’t care ! …

      I remember ppl complaining about what the fox body didn’t have. Then when ford gave them abs and disc brakes. Bigger wheels, they cried about the price. 😂😂😂

    I must be the only one who immediately fell in love with the S550 when it was first released in 2015. My local dealer had a Guard Green Performance pack car, and that was it. Since then I've owned 4 S550s.

    Alex, I’ve had my S650 for a couple months now. When I purchased it there was a clear plastic bag in the trunk along with the floor mats. The bag contained flat black deflectors and mounting screws. I noticed when you had your car on the lift, you had two of those deflectors mounted on each side just to the inside of the two front wheels. I’m taking it that the dealer was probably supposed to mount those deflectors under the car as part of the delivery prep but didn’t know where they were supposed to go. Got mine in carbonized gray metallic with the performance package. I love it. BTW, great videos.

    At SEMA both Whipple and now ProCharger showed their new S650 Mustang Gen 4 Coyote super chargers. Whipple is advertising 800 horsepower. This before a tune which will likely be available in the upcoming months with Two superchargers becoming available only a month after the 2024 Mustangs introduction. Personally. I think the Gen 4 Coyote will be an 8000 RPM monster with tuning and a supercharger. Thanks Zander for your honest information regarding the new S650 Mustang.

    Some cool technology there but I think the S550 is still my favorite body style along with the new edge. Just not a fan of the S650 crunched down rear end or the computer monitors hot glued to the dash. That being said I hope you have lots of fun with this car and enjoy it! Look forward to seeing what all you do with it.

    I own a 2024 GT Premium. I did not like the tablet in the beginning. The components were getting too hot, locking up, not displaying correct caller ID and much more. I finally figured out it was the connection to the LTE network for updates and reporting driver information. Once I turned off vehicle connectivity and connected with a usb cable, it works flawlessly.

    You can put two k and N filters on it and remove the two carbon filters from the tubes goin to the throttle bodies.If you do that you will get 17 more horsepower and more tourque.That only cost about $150 dollars

      Carbon traps are federal emissions items and will void warranty. If a shop removes them they could lose their license

    I got My S650 a month ago, traded in for my Bronco, although I miss my Bronco I really love this Mustang. It is my first ever and I wanted. I think my only regret is getting it with automatic transmission. Don't get me wrong. It is a lot faster than the manual, however, I would enjoy more driving it as a manual.
    One another issue that I have with the automatic is the "manual mode", It has too much lack when you try to change the gear and it's annoying, also it happens to downshift, It takes too longer to react. Other than that, It is an amazing car.

    That white looks sweet! I’m a little jealous of the brake vents oil cooler rear brembo etc on these I just spent the weekend putting a Stg2 Whipple in my 22GT which whipples directions sucked lol, I wish I knew I could’ve ordered my Whipple through HPR tho I would’ve.

    Didn't want to pay dealer markup. So I picked up a 2023 Mustang GT (black with chrome badging) 6 speed for 45k. I'm very happy with the car. It's gets a lot of attention.

    Wonder what LTFT and STFT can reasonably keep in control, add the damn headers and cat delete, let the ecu learn to add fuel with the LTFT trims the main other field would be "transient time" id guess ( time for feedback between factory O2 sensor location and wire length vs headers ), use a straight thru Hollowed out Muffler can and weld O2 bungs into it and space them till it doesnt throw a code ( it will work ive done it personally on a off road only gen 3) for down stream O2....
    Bet it would work though i havent tried to pull one of these tunes to look yet....

    Appreciate the walk through of the new changes. I realize some of the cooling ducts might be PP specific, but still nice to see those details. I've had 3 S550s, and I do like the S6650. Just gonna wait until I see if Roush makes a model.

    That “counter weight” is really called a Tuned Mass Damper. And yes it’s to reduce NVH.

    I have a 2003 100th anniversary of Ford Mustang GT convertible. I bought it for less than 2000 dollars and wish that I could afford the 2024 s650 when it comes with tuning of course. I just can't so I will keep what I have until either it gives out or I do. I am almost 65 and retired, so I am on a limited budget. By the way, I would love that s650.

    If it throws an emmission code it notifies the manufacture. If you remove carbon traps in intake you void warranty , they are an emissions item

      The car is not monitoring the filters. They are located POST MAF. That’s how cars work. If it was PRE NAF then it would be different

      @@Zander13Productions it’s monitoring the car as a whole. ONLY when a trouble code happens is when the car sends the data to Ford. The carbon traps ARE an emissions item and will void warranty if removed. They’re to absorb the fumes from the engine when the car is not running of the unburnt gas when the engine is off. Valves remain open at some point allowing the gas to come back into the intake system, and the carbon filters are there to filter that out.

    Great video Alex! Love the underside look and you're right It looks like they took a bunch of bits and pieces off of the Mach 1. I saw a lot of features on that car that are currently on my Mach 1. I wonder if they corrected the passenger side active exhaust issue where the wiring harness for the actuator was rubbing up against the frame?

      I had a shop cut and fold over the little area where it was rubbing. The smoothed out the folded over area and painted it. Problem solved no more rubbing. I went through two of those passenger side harnesses. Ford could have reversed the actuator so that it faced the front of the car and plugged in the harness. There is plenty of room.

    I did not like the steering feel. It felt numb. Weather you are moving or standing still the steering feels the same. I am on my 3rd S550, totaling 100k + plus miles in them. The S650 steering felt like there was no resistance. I did think the G4 Coyote is snappier, better throttle response.

    Interesting video - Good luck with your new car, will be following along as you move forward. Trying to decide on keeping my 2018 GT Premium v getting a S650. The way I would order the car would bring the cost to almost $60,000 + $5,000+/- sales tax😬. Local Ford dealer insists on additional $1,500 +/- of “mandatory” dealer add ons. Needless to say I would never buy from a dealer who has “addendums” and or dealer add ons I don’t want.

      @@TylerJohn-f8t Biggest favor you can do for yourself - Keep your car until it’s paid off. Then make car payments to yourself until you can pay cash for your next car. I’m 75, and my 2018 S550 is only my 5th car. I’ve never had a car loan. I always by new and take great care of my cars. I typically drive my cars from 150,000 to 200,000 miles. Happy Motoring 🤠

      @@TylerJohn-f8t My 2018 GT is almost payed off too. I looked at one of these new cars at the local dealer the other day. I really like it but I'm just not going to get one anytime soon. With my current car, I'm pretty dead set on getting a VMP Supercharger in the coming months so I'm still gonna keep it for probably a few more years at least. I've put $10k worth of cosmetic mods in it + full catback exhaust, and haven’t even touched the engine yet.

    Only GT performance pack has those vents. It’s blocked off for normal ones. Saw it yesterday at the dealership lol

    They deleted the rear bottom diffuser on s650 made it flat and smooth now . Maybe you don't need like the s550 PP due to the extra aero we see under the S650 car ?
    The rear bottom diffuser on previous 2018 to 2023 S550 FN GT 5.0 PP , looked really good and was like the rear diffuser from Ferraris F430 style with very noticeable fences to split exiting bottom air .

      @stevensmith8313 easier than selling and paying Mark up lol for DAMN sure tje interest alone if you just got to have a metal pan lol....just have it incase? Maybe feel better? Save the 20k you wljls lose in the transaction?
      Those pans are tougher than you might expect we pulled 3 or 4 and didn't care how the cores were handled much tougher than you might think and yes I didn't like em either but they aren't worth trading cars.
      Don't forget to have HPR put billet oil pump gears and hell maybe the gen 4 intake cams in white he is swapping the robust composite pan off your gen 3 hehe maybe a stall too let's not waste the labor but more importantly let's not waste the money for a S650

    Nothing is perfect but to me
    The S550 wasn’t broken so why fix what isn’t broken? Freshening up the S550 to become the S650 wasn’t a bad thing.

      For 10 grand more you can have the much better C8 corvette. I think more guys will go that way from the other brands than to the mustang, at least those who want a V8 anyway. Mustang will be the only rwd show in town with a entry priced 4 or 6 banger in it unless you go foreign Toyota or Nissan.

    Ironically all Mustangs have been like that. They debut and your put off by it's new look and design until you see it in person. Then all those design features that looked so wrong in print and in videos now aren't anywhere near so off putting. In fact it works very well as an evolutionary design. That's been the magic of Fords designers and proof in their putting that's seen to the mustangs longevity.

    So once you remove all the Geolocation Nanny State crap, the Internet Nanny State crap, install long tubes and GOOD sounding performance mufflers I’d be interested in performance comparisons. That’s of course surmising you are gonna check actual performance as it currently sits In it’s Observe/Monitor/Log/Report mode.

      Excellent choice I know your last mustang was a 10speed.. love the car the manual transmission gives you the best driving experience I heard that they beefed up the mt82 as well. 👍

    Oil coolers out in front of the engine with their own air ducting? Everyone knows you are supposed to put the oil cooler right in the middle of the V underneath the air intake like my fiat.

    I’m not a fan of the S650’s. I’ve driven one and there is a noticeable difference from the S550’s for the better, but even in person I’m not a big fan of the dash. The exterior of the car looks better in person than in photos, but the screens stuck on the dash just ruins it for me.
    Good luck with whatever your plans are, I’m still excited to see where the aftermarket goes with them.

      I agree. The screens are atrocious. All they had to do is work on flow and integration but they just chose to stick them in there like an IPad. Zero thought and effort on their part

      Agreed in certain colors, dark ones, they look better in person exterior wise. Interior they lost me it's a big step backwards from the last generation. They copied the current type car market dash found in everything from mini vans to Buicks now with that screen type dash which don't belong in any muscle car. Even if you like that kinda thing, they super cheaped out and didn't incorporate it into the dash, they just half a$$ed plopped that sh!t on top the dash. It will take a whole lot of horsepower to get me to over look the interior if they want to sell me a new mustang, im holding on tighter to my 21 GT Premium now than I was 6 months ago lol. If the new dealer installed and factory backed whipple turns out to be fairly priced, I might look into it, but that dash would certainly need to grow on me quickly.....used Shelby GT's and Mach1's never looked better at this point!

    For me it's not worth it especially since mine is paid off. Why pay another $60k+ for another subpar Mustang. I can see if they had added AWD &/or forged internals but nah thank you. I can spend money on my S550 and add plenty of upgrades. I just can't justify it buying this car myself.
