When the ps3 was first released my parents said funds for christmas presents was probably going to be a bit limited so me and Santa had a deal, I'd get games for christmas and the ps3 itself for my birthday in January. On christmas morning I predictably got my games and was happily just admiring them patiently looking forward to the day I got the ps3. Embarrassingly it was a few hours later I noticed the brand new ps3 sneakily all set up next to the TV. My parents were highly amused that I would've been happy just getting a bunch of unplayable games for christmas.

Can I just say that I love the humility and respect for good play these two have? I don’t play competitive games because I’m like Nath, but can’t find a way to enjoy competitive games like he does. He’s got that rage, but he puts it to way better use than I do! 😂

i love squad goals and my friends and i have taken our own little meaning of the phrase. we call it squad goals when we are playing a multiplayer game and all of us in the party are at the top of the leaderboard, and we love your channel!!
Gaming confession: Me and my friend were playing a fighting game (I can't remember the name of the game) on ps one when I was like four or five years old and I noticed that one move was nearly impossible to block so I spammed that and defeated him a couple of times and I laughed at him and started mocking him. After a while he took the same character and did the same to me. Being the good sport I was, I threw the controller on the wall and started crying hysterically.

I fell after trying to do an ollie and fall on my elbow only to scab it, however I got so scared that I could NEVER skateboard again. I can blame Tony Hawk, Matt Hoffman, & Dave Mirra (games) for getting me into the X-Games to begin with.
I'm not in 301 club, but my fondest memory of PlayStation was finding a PS1 in my moms wardrobe where she had hidden it as a gift for my dad, but being a child i immediately showed my dad and we played it for hours until my mom got home . its safe to say i was in quite a lot of trouble.

I also remember having to divide the time between my brother and sister, so I would set my alarm very early in the morning to get extra play time.

My first playstation was the ps1. And this may sound silly but my favorite game of all time is Harvest Moon: Back to Minteral Town and I was 10 at that time. No game that I have ever played could beat that magical moment.

She had previously told me it was a box of shoes and clothes , but all our housemates at uni knew the truth, and gathered around to watch me open it at midnight. gaming confession: sorry for the essay... back in the days when lord of the rings the return of the king was fresh on ps2 and my parents couldn't afford to buy me it, I had no other choice than to play it at my friends house as much as I possibly could. he would never let me play the new levels that he hadn't completed yet and it got to the point where he was stuck on the last level where you have to defeat gollum. it was the only level I hadn't played and I was craving it. one day when I was replaying an earlier gandalf level my friend had to go to football training and allowed me to carry on playing until I completed the level before I went home. as soon as he left I quit the level I was on to take on gollum for the first time. It only took me about five goes to finally send gollum down into the fires of Mount doom. I was long gone by the time my friend got home and realised that I had completed his game. we havnt spoke to this day. but on the plus side my parents bought me the game for my birthday a few months later and I had the privelege of completing the game all on my own for the first time.

My gaming confession. Seeing as how dishonored 2 is coming out soon I thought I would share that I have never once completed the original dishonored game on low or even medium chaos, I just think it's more fun going through and killing all the really bad men.
I've completed the game in both high and low chaos, even got the Never Killed Anyone / Never Detected achievements on both main game and DLC, and honestly, the stealth playthrough was way more fun. There is just something about sneaking up behind bad guys, choking them out, ghosting through the level, with them never knowing you were even there that seems more satisfying.

I have never platinum'd any game I've ever played on the PS4. And well, I've only played like 10 games on my PS4. 1. InFamous: Second Son 2. FIFA 15 3. Call of Duty - Advanced Warfare 4. GTA V 5. FIFA 16 6. Just Cause 3 7. Rocket League 8. Uncharted 4 9. Uncharted - Nathan Drake Collection 10. FIFA 17 And out all all these games, the most completed in terms of trophies, is actually FIFA 17, which I played like for only 2 weeks, and I'm 56% complete.
Gaming confession: when I started dating my girlfriend I learnt she grew up watching her brothers play scary games so I invited her round to play a bit of Dead Space. The truth is I'm a Dave when it comes to horror games so I only played the first hour - stopping exactly at the moment where I had seen my old room mate play up to. 5 years later, she is now my wife and plays all the horror games while I watch from behind a safety cushion. Also found out a few months ago she knew I was terrified from the beginning! Apparently I wasn't playing it as cool as I thought..
gaming confession: back in mid 2000's I didn't have a pc so most of the days after school I used to go to my friends house ( he had a nice pc) and used to play all the fun games like vice city, road rash,nfs,doom...so in 2007 my dad bought me a brand new pc...I was happy I bought a sanandreas CD as well ...i was so damn happy that I even got a photo clicked with that CD....so here's the shameful part...after that I stopped going to my friends house and used to play GTA all day...he didnt have that game ..but I knew he wanted to play it..but instead of giving him that game, I hid it in the almirah ...a few days later he asked me if I had played sanandreas and I shamelessly said no...a few months later he came to my house ...we were going through our photo album ...and among those photos he found that one photo in which I held that GTA CD in my hand...he didnt say anything...but I felt bad...and now I always share my ps4,pc games with all my friends...I really.really felt bad that day. 😢😢

A while back, you guys were wondering if you should change up One on Onesie and have a new kind of competitive segment. I'm sure someone probably already suggested this, but I just thought I'd go ahead and suggest a possible "All for One-sie" (or possibly even All 4 1-sie). That way Rob and Hollie could join in, and either the person who comes last has to get in the onesie, or everyone but the winner has to get in a onesie.
Scary PlayStation moment: I was trying out my brother's PSVR and decided to play Shark Encounter on VR Worlds - I'm not a big fan of scary games so I was pretty terrified when the shark started circling me. What made matters worse is that as the shark was attacking the cage my dog tried to jump on my leg and scared the life out of me (I screamed quite a bit.. xD). I think it's safe to say I won't be playing that game again any time soon :')
Not in the 301 club (as I'm watching this a day after it was posted) but my story of first PlayStation thing is I bought myself a PS3 slimline when I started uni (responsible use of student loans...) and as I took it out the box, my hands seemed to stop working and I dropped it... my heart stopped and I didn't want to look as I was convinced from the noise that it would be completely smashed. Luckily it was fine and is still working to this day!
I have a similar story with the PS4. My husband bought it for me for Christmas, we sat it on it's side on the table while sorting out the cables, and at the sound of the crash, looked around to see the PS4 on the floor and a cat where the PS4 had been. Luckily it also still worked, lets hear it for hardy construction and soft carpets.
So close to 301 club but not enough! But I have a gaming confession, I had a ps2 as a kid but my sister's boyfriend stole it but by then the ps3 was about to come out and I got one for christmas. A few years ago I find my old hard disks and want to play them so I go out and buy a used ps2 from either a pawn shop or something I don't remember, but it came with two memory cards and one of the memory cards has a ff9 save on it. Now I love ff9 but there are some grindy things about some of the side quests I hate so.. I used the save.
Gaming Confessions: I got so emotionally into Kingdom Hearts 2, that when (potential spoilers, although the game is pretty old now), Goofy appeared to have died, i went into a full on rampage slaughtering the heartless, and by that i mean i was imagining being more brutal than simply making them disappear as they do, however once it was revealed that goofy wasn't dead i found myself tearing up with relief and joy, i then felt bad for my rampage against the heartless.

Gaming confessions: I when I went to pick up my new PS4 pro, it fell out the box when I was walking it to my car and fell in a puddle. I then drove back home to make up this fictional story.
Sort of a #Gamingconfession . I attended an IT collage where most of the people in my class loved playing games, since they played games i felt quite naturally at home in the beginning. However, when our main teacher one day got fed up with us playing games during class breaks he set out to get some statistics from our class, orally that very same day. To make a long story short... i wasn't very normal.... I increased the "hours spent gaming" percentile by nearly 10%... alone...in a class of 30. My class was actually quite normal when it came to the amount of time they spent playing games until it was my turn to confess how much time i spent. After that we had to (collectively) work really hard to wipe the judging looks from our teachers faces each time they caught us gaming at school :( Apparently 8-16hrs every day is too much.

So I just watched the whole episode and when i looked down found out that I was the 231st person to watch it only to hit the refresh button and see that over a thousand people had clicked on the video in that 30 minutes. gaming confession: sorry for the essay... back in the days when lord of the rings the return of the king was fresh on ps2 and my parents couldn't afford to buy me it, I had no other choice than to play it at my friends house as much as I possibly could. he would never let me play the new levels that he hadn't completed yet and it got to the point where he was stuck on the last level where you have to defeat gollum. it was the only level I hadn't played and I was craving it. one day when I was replaying an earlier gandalf level my friend had to go to football training and allowed me to carry on playing until I completed the level before I went home. as soon as he left I quit the level I was on to take on gollum for the first time. It only took me about five goes to finally send gollum down into the fires of Mount doom. I was long gone by the time my friend got home and realised that I had completed his game. we havnt spoke to this day. but on the plus side my parents bought me the game for my birthday a few months later and I had the privelege of completing the game all on my own for the first time.

301 club. Tried PSVR today at my local GAME store. I went for the playstation world demo with the diving cage. They have cut the shark out of it because aparantly people were full on screaming in the shop and it was weirding onlookers out

My gaming confession. Seeing as how dishonored 2 is coming out soon I thought I would share that I have never once completed the original dishonored game on low or even medium chaos, I just think it's more fun going through and killing all the really bad men.
I've completed the game in both high and low chaos, even got the Never Killed Anyone / Never Detected achievements on both main game and DLC, and honestly, the stealth playthrough was way more fun. There is just something about sneaking up behind bad guys, choking them out, ghosting through the level, with them never knowing you were even there that seems more satisfying.
#301club hey guys I watch all of your content and when you told me Everyone's Gone to the Rapture was free on PS Plus I got it and played it all the way in one sitting. Fantastic game and I never would have played it if not for you guys talking about it on many occasions.

i got dead island when it first released and never got out of the hotel because i was to scared to carry on. i then bought riptide to retry it but i didnt get any further XD
i keep thinking to go back and actually do it but never do
I have never platinum'd any game I've ever played on the PS4. And well, I've only played like 10 games on my PS4.

Gaming confession: when I started dating my girlfriend I learnt she grew up watching her brothers play scary games so I invited her round to play a bit of Dead Space. The truth is I'm a Dave when it comes to horror games so I only played the first hour - stopping exactly at the moment where I had seen my old room mate play up to.
5 years later, she is now my wife and plays all the horror games while I watch from behind a safety cushion. Also found out a few months ago she knew I was terrified from the beginning! Apparently I wasn't playing it as cool as I thought..

gaming confession: back in mid 2000's I didn't have a pc so most of the days after school I used to go to my friends house ( he had a nice pc) and used to play all the fun games like vice city, road rash,nfs,doom...so in 2007 my dad bought me a brand new pc...I was happy I bought a sanandreas CD as well ...i was so damn happy that I even got a photo clicked with that CD....so here's the shameful part...after that I stopped going to my friends house and used to play GTA all day...he didnt have that game ..but I knew he wanted to play it..but instead of giving him that game, I hid it in the almirah ...a few days later he asked me if I had played sanandreas and I shamelessly said no...a few months later he came to my house ...we were going through our photo album ...and among those photos he found that one photo in which I held that GTA CD in my hand...he didnt say anything...but I felt bad...and now I always share my ps4,pc games with all my friends...I really.really felt bad that day. 😢😢

A while back, you guys were wondering if you should change up One on Onesie and have a new kind of competitive segment. I'm sure someone probably already suggested this, but I just thought I'd go ahead and suggest a possible "All for One-sie" (or possibly even All 4 1-sie). That way Rob and Hollie could join in, and either the person who comes last has to get in the onesie, or everyone but the winner has to get in a onesie.
Scary PlayStation moment: I was trying out my brother's PSVR and decided to play Shark Encounter on VR Worlds - I'm not a big fan of scary games so I was pretty terrified when the shark started circling me. What made matters worse is that as the shark was attacking the cage my dog tried to jump on my leg and scared the life out of me (I screamed quite a bit.. xD). I think it's safe to say I won't be playing that game again any time soon :')

Not in the 301 club (as I'm watching this a day after it was posted) but my story of first PlayStation thing is I bought myself a PS3 slimline when I started uni (responsible use of student loans...) and as I took it out the box, my hands seemed to stop working and I dropped it... my heart stopped and I didn't want to look as I was convinced from the noise that it would be completely smashed. Luckily it was fine and is still working to this day!
I have a similar story with the PS4. My husband bought it for me for Christmas, we sat it on it's side on the table while sorting out the cables, and at the sound of the crash, looked around to see the PS4 on the floor and a cat where the PS4 had been. Luckily it also still worked, lets hear it for hardy construction and soft carpets.
So close to 301 club but not enough! But I have a gaming confession, I had a ps2 as a kid but my sister's boyfriend stole it but by then the ps3 was about to come out and I got one for christmas. A few years ago I find my old hard disks and want to play them so I go out and buy a used ps2 from either a pawn shop or something I don't remember, but it came with two memory cards and one of the memory cards has a ff9 save on it. Now I love ff9 but there are some grindy things about some of the side quests I hate so.. I used the save.

Gaming Confessions: I got so emotionally into Kingdom Hearts 2, that when (potential spoilers, although the game is pretty old now), Goofy appeared to have died, i went into a full on rampage slaughtering the heartless, and by that i mean i was imagining being more brutal than simply making them disappear as they do, however once it was revealed that goofy wasn't dead i found myself tearing up with relief and joy, i then felt bad for my rampage against the heartless.

Gaming confessions: I when I went to pick up my new PS4 pro, it fell out the box when I was walking it to my car and fell in a puddle. I then drove back home to make up this fictional story.
Sort of a #Gamingconfession . I attended an IT collage where most of the people in my class loved playing games, since they played games i felt quite naturally at home in the beginning.
However, when our main teacher one day got fed up with us playing games during class breaks he set out to get some statistics from our class, orally that very same day. To make a long story short... i wasn't very normal.... I increased the "hours spent gaming" percentile by nearly 10%... alone...in a class of 30. My class was actually quite normal when it came to the amount of time they spent playing games until it was my turn to confess how much time i spent. After that we had to (collectively) work really hard to wipe the judging looks from our teachers faces each time they caught us gaming at school :(
Apparently 8-16hrs every day is too much.
However i did pass school with good grades (third highest of that class).
