Gaming confession: Recently bought xcom2 and of course I named the soldiers after my friends here at university. The first play through was going really well and the soldiers named after my housemates were levelling up quickly, which resulted in one of those housemates becoming increasingly smug (even though he is a village gamer and not actually in control of anything). This began to gradually wear me down, until i snapped. As a result I "accidentally" ensured he would be 2 squares away from being able to extract, and consoling my actual housemate, saying he'd be sacrificed for the greater good.....never been happier at losing a high level soldier.....

If we are still doing scary stories, the only time a game has ever frightened me is Silent Hill 2, at the beginning when you are walking down the misty forest path towards the town itself. You are walking along, and then you hear footsteps behind you, heavy, deliberate and just a bit slower than your own. I heard them start, wondered if it was some sort of echo of my own steps, stopped, and looked all around me but couldn't see anything in the mist. I resumed walking, and after a few seconds, the footsteps started up again. I stopped again, and the footsteps stopped just a few seconds after I did, so I knew it wasn't an echo. That freaked me out so much I ran all the rest of the way into town. Masterful. You don't need jump scares or blood and gore to scare people in that game. just footsteps.

Hey Nath, Dave and the Access crew! I have a #gamingconfession in Silent Hill 2 on PS2.
Me and my friends were around 10-12 yo and all huddled around a small TV passing the controller to the least scared person (me). We were right at the beginning walking through the mist and towards the church to which I shouted extremely loudly, threw the controller to my left, smacking my best friend on the head and making everyone scream. To this day none of us have picked it back up. Proudest moment of my life.
On a side note this has hindered my horror game experiences as I am still at the start of Outlast where I climb into the asylum, back straight out and instead play The Witcher 3.

I saw the video posted only a minute ago and I felt my heart skip a beat just seeing it. I was just working on a project for my college class and for some reason I decided to stop, thinking that I needed a break. I'm so excited and I hope to be featured on the next episode. Hi guys and greetings from the Philippines! Thanks for reading my comment, my next goal will be to get into the 301 club. I would also like to add that the match this time was somehow tense. Unlike with Nath, who shouts his frustrations, Dave and Rob lets it simmer. I was afraid that they would explode, luckily they didn't... atleast not on camera.
I don't know if you're still doing this but I just have to say it: My scariest moment in gaming is when I finally bought the house in Windhelm while playing Skyrim. I saw how many mannequins there were, and was super excited to show off my armor. So I walked up to them, looked around to admire my house, looked up only to see the mannequins STARING at me!! At first I thought it was actually a haunted mansion because, well, there was a murderer living there and he was attempting to perform a disgusting necromantic ritual. It's not crazy to come to the conclusion that the ghosts of the dead came to possess the mannequins. But I later realized that it was just a glitch. I'll always think of it as haunted though; Makes it more interesting.
gaming confession - once when I was around 9 years old I had been invited too the cool guy in our classes house. I felt like I needed to show off as I wasn't as popular as him at school so when I saw that he had a copy of assassin's creed sitting there I thought this is my time. However it was not his game it was his dad's and he had been forbidden from playing it. it took around 30 minutes of me convincing him it was fine that we played it, because I was here and I play it all the time at home (which was a lie, I was also banned from playing it by my mum).We begin playing and about 20 minutes later his dad comes home and starts to tell him off really badly. So he tells his dad it was my fault as I play it all the time at home. So natural reaction kicks in I tell his dad "he forced me too play it. I hate violence in video games. I wanted to play lego starwars". His dad at this point gets very angry. My friend starts crying. I go home. I am not friends with the cool kid.

The scariest VIDEOGAME (not playstation) experience was: when i and my brother were playing Mario Kart 64 on the N64 and we managed every race on every difficulty and with my brother always being 1st place (i was only the supporter in thise racers), except for the hardest difficulty and the last stage, Rainbow Road. We raced this stage like 12 times and then, my brother was SO close to be finnaly 1st, but Yoshi was right behind him, about to pick up 1st place. So, i had a green Shell equiped and aimed for Yoshi, but then, when i fired, i accidently hit my brother RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FINISH LINE!!! God, my brother was ready to break my fingers in that moment.
I'm not expecting to be part of the 301 club but I'm with Dave on the "Pets play" idea. I once saw a meme of a hamster playing a tiny Tekken arcade machine and I can honestly say that a "Pets play" series needs to be a thing! The world would be a better place....

Gaming confession: I have seven of my best friend's games that I borrowed from him....ten years ago. He has completely forgotten about them and I just consider them my games now. He still wonders why he can't find his copy of Red Dead Redemption, which he lent to me six years ago and his copy of Monster Hunter, which he lent to me ten years ago. It's okay, I got my comeuppance. I allowed another friend to borrow three of my favorite games (MGS 1, 2 & 3) because he'd never played them and he moved away to Australia the next week with my games.

I saw Pet's Play, and I have to make this comment: Dave you need to have an emergency pet as back up when you play a scary game. When it gets too intense, pull out the puppy or fluffy kitten and then you can continue. You could even look into a badger cub for Delsin. That way just about everyone wins!

idk if this is a confession or what, but I remember when I was playing through ffx for the first time I had heard that Seymour's final battle was the hardest battle in the game so I spent bout 10-15 hours grinding for it. ended up getting yuna's Nirvana completely unlocked and valefor's energy blast. then I completely filled everyone's overdrive bar, even the aeons (including the special aeons) went in there to fight him and one-shot him. I was so shocked I restarted the game to make sure it wasn't a fluke and then walked across my college campus to a friend and brought him back to show him. I was flabbergasted. lol talk bout over leveling.

GAMING CONFESSION.
My girlfriend hates gaming and the fact that i am spending so much money on games with " our " bankaccount. So I now only buy my games digitally with €20,- psn cards bought at the gasstation the same time i will fill up my car. This way it just shows the gasstations name in the bankaccount.
She will never know .............. Only problem is that the price will be to high. So i never fill up the car 100% ;)
gaming confession I was so excited for outlast and when it finally came out I started it up and got to the part where the big guy pushes you threw the window (its like 5 mins into the game). and I was so scared I turned of the game and deleted it from my ps4. I then sold the game and I have never played it since.

Gaming confession. One Christmas my cousin and I were told by my dad that we 'WOULD' go to bed rather than play Need for speed underground all night. 8 hours and many races later the sun came up. Rather than fess up we got changed into our pyjamas and claimed we had just got up really early to carry on.

Gaming Confession:
I have 2 sisters and we used to play alot of PS3 together. It was around this time that I realized how tropies worked. So everytime any of my sisters got a new game, I convinced them that we should play it on my account. Somehow, they always agreed. Just imagine all the bronze and silver trophies that went to me instead of them!
And I haven't played PS3 since
Rob is great at RPGs and puzzle games but when it comes to competitive games, Dave is king.
I haven't 301ed in a while, hi guys. so as not to waste this opportunity I'll leave you with this: Nintendo was partnered with Sony to make the playstation but after the two companies couldn't agree on how to execute they parted ways with Sony maintaining rights to the name and technology involved. I bet you guys knew that though. there does exist one Nintendo playstation prototype.

I have a gaming confession. I have only just completed until dawn (on halloween) after watching several playthoughs so i knew what was coming. Even though i knew what was going to happen i was still bricking myself all the way through. It was the parts that were least scary that made me jump. Please keep up the good work guys

GAMING CONFESSION - I was eagerly awaiting the release of GTA Vice City back in day. so much so that I managed to find it in a cupboard (Christmas present cupboard) I had waited a few days because I had to make a plan to play it and put it back without my parents noticing. it wasn't in wrap back then.. I finally made my move. got hold of it. put it in the PlayStation.. only to find it didn't work at all...the game just wouldn't load up..I put it back in the cupboard and had to make another plan...flashforward to Christmas day that year. I picked up the gift in all its wrapped glory. opened it up. threw on a fit of excitement and ran through to my room...waited 5 minutes, ran back through and told my parents it wasn't working...karma! to this day, I haven't played GTA vice city!
Sounds kinda crazy, but I think your camera has a dead pixel? I've noticed it for the past Access Granted, and Rob's last Friday feature. It's really noticeable at 3:45 on Nate's tablet!

Hey guys, an idea for what to put in the PS4Pro Video: Detail what tvs come with HDR. Such as what major brands have model series that are HDR capable. Also qhat year those brands started implementing HDR into those tvs. Then maybe how to check if your tv is hdr compatible. I say this because i have a Vizio M Series, which i bought late 2015. Though i was told the M series didnt have hdr until 2016. So i dont know if i have it or not to be honest. I feel alot would find this helpful. Nice beard, Dan.
Gaming confession: Crash Bandicoot once made me so angry I stamped my PS1 to death. I told my little brother if he didn't say he'd hit me with a toy sword and I had fallen onto it then we wouldn't get a PS2 for Christmas. Thankfully he did the right thing and my parents are not good crime scene investigators. He got in lots of trouble, but a couple months later, it was a great Xmas.

#gamingconfession I used to work in retail and on occasion I would unbeknownst to anyone would "borrow games". I borrowed a copy of Metal Gear over a weekend once finished it and then returned it secretly on the Monday. Around about the same time I lost my copy of Resident Evil 2. As I had a tendency to put games in CD cases and vice versa I just assumed it was misplaced. A few days later a colleague bought Metal Gear Solid and the next day came in all excited as he had discovered a free copy of Resident Evil 2 in the Metal Gear case. Needless to say I was unable to say anything.
For some reason this didn't appear in my subscriptions for ages even though I got a notification
I seriously look forward to the day Robs child is old enough to come on the show as a guest.
Due to Robs lack of hair on his head and having a beard combined with the building rage that is always inside him it will be like watching Kratos from God of War 4 doing a let's play with his new offspring.... May the gods have mercy....

Gaming ConfessionL Not 30 seconds into the Resident Evil 7 demo, I stopped and texted my mate what I was doing. Not because he's a huge Resy fan but because I live alone and I thought somebody should know where I was.... just in case.

#GamingConfessions Back in the year 2000, I found myself reguarly trying to kill time during the day, so I picked up a used Gameboy and a copy of Pokemon Yellow. I found the game to be surprisingly addictive and ended up beating everyone and spent a lot of time finding every Pokemon I could and leveling up most of the Pokemon I had acquired, most to level 50 and above. Finally, I got a copy of Pokemon Silver, and started playing it. I wasn't very far into the game when a friend lent me his Gameboy and I hooked them together and traded all of my strong Pokemon Yellow team into my Pokemon Silver (Are you sure you want to trade a Level 60 Charizard for Level 2 Ratatta? Yes!). I knew I couldn't use most of them yet as I wasn't yet strong enough as a trainer in Silver, but I liked having them in my Pokedex and knowing they were there when I wanted them, and I figured I was done with Yellow. I continued to play as normal. A couple weeks later, I turned on my Gameboy and Silver asked me who I was. The entire game was completely wiped clean for no apparent reason, taking it back to factory reset, and all of my high-level Pokemon were lost. I was heartbroken, and I never played Pokemon again.... until Pokemon Go.

PS4 Pro question: I have a 4K TV, (bought it for Pro, better be worth it, I'm sure it will be). However if I want to, can I choose to render the game at 1080p on my 4K TV? For instance if the graphical fidelity /supersampling or framerate is better in 1080p mode, then that would be useful to be able to do.
PS4 Pro question, can you swap the hard drive straight over from PS4, or will I have to juggle the day about to keep using my hard drive?

Gaming confession: X-Men: Destiny was considered one of the worst games released on xbox 360 and ps3 (and whatever other console it was released on). But I played it on 360 and beat it 3 times over in 2 sittings and got all the achievements for it, even though it was quite bad I loved the game and enjoyed my time with it. Guilty Pleasure.
Gaming confession: I made my brother aggro a npc in dark souls 3 in the firelink shrine when he was woefully underleveled. He died. a lot. He never played dark souls 3 again...
Gaming confession: I used to tell my sister false information about different levels in Spyro because I was mad that she was better at it than me. She would always believe me, despite knowing that I hardly ever played the game myself.
is it bad that i wanted Rob to keep losing at Rocket League just to see him rage like he's having constipation?
