Gaming Confession: My roommate likes to watch me play Dark Souls 3. What he doesn't know is that I secretly play ahead while he is asleep using a different save file. Every time he watches I always beat the bosses in one or two tries. However, it usually takes me several tries to beat them the night before and learn the technique. He now thinks I'm the greatest Dark Souls player in Denver.
"Shut up Dave! It's hammer time" is definitely my favorite quote to date from this.
I have a good idea to replace gaming confessions, called Playstation Feats of Greatness... gamers can send you videos of them doing cool stuff in different games and then you guys could pick like 3 and rank them or have the community vote for the winner

Gaming Confessions: Ten years ago, once me and my friend had left school, instead of looking for work we played Silent Hill 1-4 all summer. It was one of the best summers I've ever had, despite being skint. He had the controller and I figured out puzzles and such as I am like Dave when it comes to horror games. Despite having never played any Silent Hill game on my own, bar the demo for the first one, it remains one of my favourite games to this day.
I feel like Nath's face in that intro, when he makes the brexit joke, just perfectly sums up the mood of most people in the UK right now.
Dave is the most polite British gamer I've ever seen - "Oh my goodness me!" and "You are awful with a boomerang young lady!" were my favourites 😂 mad love from Lincoln, UK
I absolutely loved Skellige with its Norse like feel and its open seas. Recently the beauty of Toussaint has also been an amazing area to explore

Gaming Confessions: I found out my friend, Luke, got so mad when people teamed up against him in Mario Party that he tried to strangle someone. From that day forward whenever we played any party game or death match game we all agreed to team up against him just to make he rage. It was hilarious, and mean. :D
Confession: When i was younger I was given a Dreamcast for Christmas and i hated it so much i pretended it was broken and we took it back to the shop swapping it for a dvd player, much better system lol. I was still madly in love with my PSOne at the tie anyway! :D

#gaming confession: I love video games, I have put thousands of hours into games since the late 1980's. In the past 6 years I have gotten married, become a full time employee, I am now a father of two, and I volunteer with children. The children I volunteer with have heard about my love of video games and it is our common ground for conversation. They love minecraft, witcher 3, and several other popular games and we talk about them often. The truth is, I have no time to play games, so I watch the main spoilers on RUclips channels to get an idea of the game and I fake knowing the small details. It ruins the games for me, but the kids think I'm so cool to be able to talk to them about their favorite game.

I started by finding Rob's Friday Features. I've watched all of them. He's hilarious and I subscribed immediately. I only realized there was more to the channel when RUclips auto-played Access Granted. I was like who the heck are these guys? Two more Brits with sexy accents and funny too? I'm in! I'm now making my way through the Access Granted videos.

Alright... a proper comment this time. Greetings from South Africa! Love the show, especially Rob, whose Friday Features were the reason I subscribed, but since then I've started watching everything else and I love Dave and Nathan, too. Hollie is the ultimate queen, though, and I really wish she could be more involved in the other shows with you guys. Of course I understand why that's not really possible. You guys are a wonderful team, and I really hope to see more let's plays from you all in the future. Dave, I'm one your side for this season of one-on-onesie. This week's one on onesie looked a lot more technical than other games and reminded me of the 'grab the sausage' dodgeball game haha! Loving the 'hammer-time' Nath! (My headphones needed turning down this week!). Kudos for Nath getting in the onsesie, building up to full hood! One more win Dave!

Gaming confession I was playing the rainbow six siege beta with friends and I was watching one doorway that the enemy teams could use to flank us. When my controller died so I rushed to find my charger when the entire enemy team rushed in and slaughtered us

Gaming Confession: My partner bought me The Last of Us for Xmas following its release. I was home alone, off work (genuinely) ill for a week straight and started playing as soon as it was unwrapped. As my fevers worsened, I began to become a little too immersed in the game world and mistook my symptoms for Zombism. To make matters worse, I was too weak to leave my sofa, and over the course of a week, the garbage had built up by my door to a state where every few hours the smell of death and decay circled the room (ok, just regular garbage, but whatever). I lost track of time as I reached end-game, and only after finishing did I realise that I'd been feeling better for the best part of two days, yet had kept myself surrounded by the smell of garbage and the lingering signs of illness to keep myself in the immersive world I'd created for the game. Gross. But I'd do it again.
A couple of points:
1. I thought the announcement was going to be that Dave was going to do a Let's Play of Resident Evil 7.
2. I need that shirt.
3. Rob nailed the model bit.
Addendum: I now own this shirt. My wallet is bleeding from the international shipping, but it's mine. You can thank Rob for his amazing modelling job.
I like how when Rob made a kiss-y face towards the camera while modeling, whoever was filming just immediately tilted down to cut his face out of frame.

confessions: i didn't like the witcher 3 the first time i played it, i forced myself to play it for a while as i didn't enjoy it but i knew everyone else said it was good. But after leaving it for 4 months and coming back i played it all so quickly and am about to replay it as i love it as one of my faves now
Weird how that happens to some people, where they dislike a game but play it again and love it. Never feel like you must like something just because the majority of people do though.
Perhaps I should give the game another chance too. I mean, I kinda liked it and played through most of the main story and sidequests, but it didn't give me that "wow" feel at any point. Most of the time I was just expecting it would get better later on but meh. Perhaps I was a bit burnt out on open world RPGs last summer, might as well start over now.
I have literally just done exactly that. I bought it 4 months ago and just couldn't get into. I restarted yesterday and now I'm loving it.

Gaming Confession: I purchased the 3 Witcher games as a bundle during the summer sale. I started playing the first game thinking that I would hate it for the combat and only playing if for the story. It's one of my favorite games now, combat and all.
My friend and I decided that we would play a FIFA online friendly league on every single league on FIFA 16 to see who was the better FIFA player. After 10 months of grueling FIFA matches, 35 Leagues, Replaying drawn leagues, Unbelievable goals and the occasional Rage quit, the champion was finally decided. I won 22 leagues to 13. I feel as though there should be some sort of punishment for my friend but we have no onesie, I was hoping that Dave and Nathan could come up with some sort of punishment for him or at least call him out in the next access. Thanks.
P.S I totally ordered a T-shirt. I can't wait for people to ask why I've got a puppet badger on my chest

Nathan, the story you told about getting stuck in the hole in the Witcher 3, I know that exact hole quite well. I got stuck a few days ago and got out by jumping around like a manic. As a witcher renowned for my grace and skill in battle, getting stuck in a hole and being reduced to jumping like a panicked frog just so I didn't have to reload a previous save was not my proudest moment.
If the Beauds got two mentions in one video AND was crowned 301 club King then it must've been slim pickings last week... I have only commented once before on a glorious day when I realised I was in the 301 club. I don't know if the genuine delight was something to enjoy or if it was weird that I did find genuine delight in becoming part of it.... Except my boyfriend broke it to me that the 301 club wasn't really a thing on any other PlayStation Access video other than Access Granted, so then I was left feeling like a right mug!! Thanks guys, for building me up and then crushing my dreams.
Anyway, love watching the videos... apart from your wall. I wish I could fend shui that or redecorate or something. Throw a couple of posters in frames instead of blu tacked haphazardly across the place. Make it a more aesthetically pleasing as a back drop, balance it out. You don't live in a dorm!
PS and also guys- for not filming the ceiling at E3... Shame!! You had one job!
gaming confession. When I was younger around when mw3 came out, my parents had a rule where I could only game for 30 mins a day. not wanting to fall behind my buddys levels, I bought an old garbage tv from a garage sale and a new xbox, which I hid in my closet so I could play all night undetected. I did eventually get caught a couple years later, when my headphones fell out of the tv and my game volume blasted out the speakers.
Nath, Dave, my life would be complete if you guys made a documentary titled 'A Day in the Life of Rob Pearson' in which a camera crew follow him closely and document everything, from waking to bedtime. Thankyou ☺
Gaming Confession: When gameboys with batteries were the only handhelds you had (yes, I'm that old), my mum used to confiscate the batteries after I had my 1-hour a day of gaming fun, to make sure I didn't play longer than that. The thing is though, she left the gameboy with me, so all I had to do was wait until she was out, then run to my dad - who conveniently never knew that I had already used up my game time - and say to him that mum had forgotten to put the batteries back into my gameboy. Took them at least 6 months to figure this out.
#GamingConfession One night me and my friend attempted to invent a new drinking game we called "Rocket Shots". Basically every time we gave up a goal in a 2v2 game of rocket league we both had to take a shot. As the night went on we hadn't lost yet and after 5 games we had only taken 6 shots, both of us were screaming and going crazy every time we won a match... at this point we were both pretty messed up and probably should of stopped but we decided to play one more game... Which we ended up losing 10-2 and I honestly don't remember much after that I woke up the next morning on the floor of his room covered in puke and my friend had somehow fallen asleep in the bathtub. I'll never forget "Rocket Shots" lol

#Gamingconfession when the ps1 was still new I used to bug my cousin constantly to play it. He finally gave me the controller turned off the lights and locked the door as he left the room. The game was Resident evil. Having know idea what it was I started playing, after the first jump scare with the crows I threw controller and gave up. But I had leave the game running so I could find the light switch, all the while zombies were groaning in the dark, as I searched for the light........I was 4 years old and haven't played a scary game in 20 years.

Best witcher places: Boat on top of the mountain in Skellige; elven ruin where Hearts of Stone ends; soo many places in Toussaint (fairytale land?). Or basically just anywhere when the sun rises....
I also got stuck in the Witcher 3. I was exploring a boat off the shore of Skellige and I was stuck in the hull and couldn't get out. My Geralt eventually drowned.
I have only just noticed the #45 on the thumbnail. wow guys have I watched 45 of these? That's ace
The Minecraft Story Mode moment was one of the most painful TellTale has done yet.

10 places to see in the witcher 3. Well number 1 needs to be that bridge in Skillege. No question. It was so beautiful rainbows poured out of my eyes (metaphorically). Other entries: The sky at sundown, Novigrad from some high point, the water (for Rob), and pretty much the rest of Skillege.

gaming confession: It's quite embarrassing but my brother and I just recently realised that we played our ps3 without the use of a HDMI. Back in 09 when we first got the console we didn't know what the HDMI was for and as the console worked without it we said it wasn't anything important and got rid of it. Needless to say going back and playing the ps3 games in HD has been a joy.

I usually just mash the triangle, x, square, and circle buttons while moving around to get out of those swampy ruts in the witcher 3.. works for me!

I have enjoyed your videos for quite some time but ever since I first started watching I have had a question and it has yet to be answered: what do you guys actually do for work?? it seems like making videos is the whole thing but you are always talking about other responsibilities and games you have to play so there are just so many questions and any answered would be appreciated!

WITCHER 3!!!! (spoilers maybe) Loving the game as well Im almost 200 hrs in and so much more to go. I would recommend for, the top ten places to go, the place you end up in the quest There can be only one. Where you can walk on water, do a few tests of virtue and get one of the best swords in the game! When i first went it was a truly unique experience.
gaming confession: during the ps3 era, my older brother had a habit of breaking and scratching his game discs. Instead of buying a new one he'd borrow my ones for a week and secretly switch the discs. Instead of confronting him I would wait a few days after getting "my copy" of the game back and go to his and switch them back round. He would then think he broke another copy and I would finally tell him "mine" was broke. he'd have to go out and buy 2 brand new copies. 1 for him and 1 for me. But I'd take it back to the stores for a full refund and spend the money on another game.

Gaming Confessions: When I was playing the new Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion, there was a fist fight bit which I kept losing and rather than continuing on with the story, I restarted the save every time so that I won "first time". I did it with a tournament horse race aswell xD

Gaming/gamer confession: There's a major storm coming through my area (in the US) and so naturally I made sure to unplug my PS3 and PS4 in case of a lightning strike. As I went to bed, I mentally heard the sound of a trophy notification, as if I just completed a quest.
I feel the winner of one-on-onesie needs to more celebrated, and given a Breakfast Club style ending.
Gaming confession : Back when the Dreamcast was released, my best friend bought it on day one, I was still stuck with my PSone as my parents couldn't afford the DC. I was so jealous I spent a month slowly convincing him the PSone was better. He then sold his Dreamcast to get his PSone back...A month later I sold my PSone for a Dreamcast. Sorry Dan :P

Heresa few suggestions for a new segment or video what about some sort of gaming nostalgia section, talking about older games you should play, games you used to play, what made them special, games that got you into gaming, gaming pet peeves and even games cheats that you used to love.
I got into gaming because of the old Fifas. The best one was the cheat that could bend the ball loads and also put invisible walls around the pitch. Fifa used to be so much fun but now its just too serious. Also the 5 aside edition of it was great.
On my first listen, at 27:15 it sounded like Rob's playthrough was going to be a "hamster playthrough", and then "Ham Zee"? I am sure neither of those are right, but I would honestly watch you guys do any playthrough. Hamster, ham zee, ham sandwich, whatever.
Also, I'm not sure if you ever do one-on-onesie challenges with PS2/PS3 games, but I would LOVE to watch Dave and Nathan play Katamari Damacy or Katamari Forever.
how about bioshock for the locations? seeing as they're bringing out a remaster.
or an old classic, red dead redemption? rumoured still to have a sequel on the way too.

Gents, consider if you will, this humble suggestion for a gaming confessions replacement. In keeping with with the current trend of games development at the moment (naughty dog, bethesda etc) why not have a section where you each produce one of your favourite moments from games of yesteryear, A throwback bit. Wherein you discuss the merits of aforementioned favourite moment. A weekly theme for the moment may also be worthwhile, picking a different theme each week. Ie Dave may describe his struggle to the top of Throat of the World to be greeted by the vista of from this vantage point, while Nath may argue that the first time you see Novigrad in the distance is more enjoyable. Etc Etc

it's funny that you draw the parallel between time in the witcher and in real-life... i also skip night in the witcher (unless it's required for a specific quest), and i am also the type to "skip night" in irl and wake up early and have a productive morning. very much like how i am in witcher / rpgs. i also love the rain in most rpgs and in real life lol.
I think we need a return to squad goals, especially if gaming confessions are drying up (possibly in part due to the heavy judgement levied upon those who did offer their confessions haha). I love the one on onesie challenges because I end up picking up some of the games to play against some of my friends when tough decisions must be made such as who is paying for the takeout. Finally, not only is it sometimes hilarious to watch Dave struggling against a horror experience it also gives me hope that if he can do it, so can I :) best wishes to you all

Gaming Confession - I was so genuinely terrified while playing Alien Isolation that I somehow threw the controller across the room and into the TV when I got jumped by the scaly menace....nearly took my friend's head off with said controller as well.

#Gamingconfession When i started playing Oblivion for the first time i realised that you could level up your magic abilities by repeatedly spamming spells but it was a long and boring process. Instead of doing it myself i asked my sister who was eight at the time to do it and i promised i would pay her. It took her eight hours and in the end i only paid her 5p. She has never let me forget that.
