I thought of PS One on Onesie just before Nath said it out loud. And I was feeling so smart too...
Greeting from Vancouver (Canada). Gaming confession...after watching the Access team's Let's Play of Don't Starve (both of them) I was so excited about the game I immediately downloaded and played and what great fun! I started slowly, just making sure he had enough berries and firewood to survive the night and before long he was thriving. Although primarily nomadic in nature, I was constantly looking for "the spot" to finally build my science machine and set up this poor guy's home. I played for a good 4 or 5 hours straight and found this very nice abandoned farm, and chose to ignore the skeleton resting quietly to the side (presumably, the original owner of the land) I then set up the science machine, and began to lay the foundation of a home for my nomadic man, I imagined him settling down and starting a family, eventually planting the seeds for a new civilization...HOWEVER, I then moved just 50 game feet up the map and realized this new civilization had been started next to 6 spider's nests and a collection of those eye ball things with really long legs. I was so disappointed I thought to myself..."Well, I've given him every advantage...in a way" I then turned the game off and walked away...and I haven't played it since.
P.S. Can't wait to download the new Playstation Access app now in Canada!
(Insert exclamation of unbridled joy here) Nath says "QuakeCon" and "Dallas" and I realize that I live 40 minutes from where it's going to be. So pumped, I plan on wearing my Delsin Rodent shirt constantly and attending QuakeCon as my first ever game convention and hopefully catching a glimpse of Nath's shadow as he probably stays ridiculously busy. Love the channel, you guys arguing all the time is exactly what it sounds like when I play with my friends.

GAMING CONFESSION- my parents don't allow me to play 18 rated games. But my sneaky self decided to buy skyrim last year on PS3 and fallout 4 on ps4.(which were unbelievable purchases) and I would usually be in a party with my friends and would not be able to hear my parents in the background so what I would do while I would be playing fallout 4 I would have a screenshot on the capture gallery of Fifa 16 or destiny and when they would walk in I would double click the ps4 button to bring up the screenshot and pretend I've been playing that game the whole time. I am not proud
its alright what level are you on fallout. Im currently level 20 after a fresh restart

Hey guys!! My son (who is 8) and I watch every video that Playstation Access puts out with each other. This has come with an unforeseen side effect. When my son is having a hard time with a video game, he now does what he has entitled, "doing a Nathan". Which is to say he yells "Shut Up Game!!!!" at the Television. I couldn't be prouder..
For Nath - Fun Tortoise band trivia: Tortoise are from Chicago, young man. Also I did a wee next to John McEntire (lead guitar/bass/xylophone/cheese curder) in the Rocket Club in Leeds when they played there. I haven't washed my personal space since.
Gaming Confession: I was so excited about the PS4 Ratchet & Clank remake, having played the original trilogy on PS2 when I was younger... I preordered the game and had my hands on it just after lunchtime on release day.
I then proceeded to play through the entire story in one sitting. It took me until the early hours of the morning but I was so into it I couldn't stop playing. I completely regret rushing through it and remember the disappointment the following morning when I realised the months of exciting build up had been burnt out in less than 24 hours.
I later replayed the story in "challenge mode", but it just wasn't the same because I felt like I'd already ruined it... So then I quit. Haven't picked it up since.
Wow. 45 minutes and I missed the #301club by 1,310 views. You guys are way more popular than you were when I subscribed. Great job!
GAMING CONFESSION - When I was 10, FFX came out on the PS2 I would rent it from Blockbuster and stay up all night playing it. My mom would get up for work around 4am so when I heard her alarm, I turned my tv off and covered my PS2 to hide the lights and waited in the dark for her to leave so I could play more FFX. Such a lovely game.

Gaming confessions- Playing MGS2 to get every dog tag when I was about 15 and got so close after 5 full playthroughs, when I decided to check my memory card. Being an inquisitive sort I wanted to see if the icon changed when you select the delete function, when the muscle memory of switched circle and x functions (typical MGS style) meant I accidentally deleted my save.... And I never played it again.
Gaming Confession: In Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for PS4 (I hadn't played the PS3 version) I kept getting attacked by wolves and dying in the large night time forest area. In this area there are many men patrolling and they will call out hungry wolves if you are spotted. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to defend myself from the wolves that I could barely see (I like to keep the screen setting pretty dark) and I couldn't remember what the tutorial moment had said about wolves at the first bit of the game. Finally I got very stubborn with it and played through the whole area by sniping all the guards in the head with an arrow. They never called the guards and I was able to proceed to the next area. After about 5 months I picked up the game again and on that play through I figured out what to do with the wolves and it was very easy. I felt ashamed I had spent hours on it the last go around.
While you were playing Word Quest I noticed as you spelled out Molee you could have had Molten. Also on your last word when you were feeling the pressure of the clock you had Regal staring you right in the face.
It's easy to say this while I am feeling no pressure from the game's time clock but I did come up with those at the same time as you were playing in the video.
Just got the ACCESS theme, its comic-y hijinks really brighten up the room! One question though: Any plays on creating a dynamic version, or one with Access music looping? I had swapped a Witcher 3 dynamic theme, with Geralt and Jennifer owning some guard, and the music that came with that is missed now... Maybe when you get to 2 million subs??

Gaming Confession: I first played Shadow of the Colossus on PS2 and when the remastered version came out on PS3 I immediately went and bought it. After completing Shadow of the Colossus I decided to check out the other title on the disc, Ico. After playing it for a couple hours or so, I wondered into some sort of courtyard and proceeded to fumble around said courtyard for several hours trying to figure out what to do. Finally, I gave up, decided I didn't have enough motivation to even look up the puzzle online, and I haven't played the game since...
#gamingconfessions When the original Gameboy came out my brother and I knew my mom had already bought them for us for Christmas. At the time my parents were going through a divorce and my mom cried all the time. My brother and I were too young to understand why she kept crying, but we did know it annoyed us and she hated crying in front of us. So my mom made a deal that if she cried again in front of us that we could get our Gameboys early. Naturally after a day, and she hadn't cried, I went into her room and talked about how much I missed dad and wished he was here. She immediately began crying and I ran down the hall yelling "She cried! Let's get our Gameboys!!!" and we got them.

No gaming confession, never anywhere near #301 club and not even hopeful of a comment of the week. Just wanna say a huge thanks to all you guys at PlayStation Access for getting me into all the 'indie' games in the store. Gotta admit I've always been a triple A kinda guy but watching you guys play the likes of Stikbold, Abzu etc broadened my horizons. Cheers again. Keep up the good work!!

The next and final leg in the Dave and Nath rehabilitation game series needs to be Abzu co-op. After which there will be no more competition or screaming or wanton spider slaughter. But rather peaceful existence as exihibited by peace loving Holly and Rob.

gaming confession- when skyrim came out on the ps3 i was learning for my bar mitzvah and so i pretended to have a sore throat and didn't learn for a week and a half. in my bar mitzvah i regretted it badly. also i think my brother is doing it now but i can't be sure..

Gaming Confession:
When I first got my PlayStation 3 in Christmas of 2013 I got granturismo 6 and the last of us. I played the intro of the last of us and didn't play it since in the beginning of this summer. Plus I borrowed it out to a friend at least 3 times before I played it. Now it is one of my favorite single player games.
I've a number of things to say today.
Firstly, #505 club, what up.
Second, and much to my dismay, I've picked out what I can only assume is a 'Rob's
backing vox' track in the 301 club jingle and now it's the only thing I
can hear whenever I hear it. 'Three oh waaaaaaan'
Last of all, 'queed' should absolutely mean something, a sound like that shouldn't go to waste.
A fresh sliced tomato, straight from the garden. That's all I need. Thanks Rob!

GAMING CONFESSION: Last year, I got Dishonored GOTY Edition. I really loved it, the gameplay, the story, everything. But then I got to the Return to Dunwall Tower mission, and in the middle of it, I thought to myself, while I was on a corner, "this is a good place to stop". I haven't played it ever since and I still don't know hos Dishonored ended.
Gaming Confessions- my cousin gave me Shadow of Colossus when I was eleven, and I was immediately drawn in when I rode my faithful steed through the vast landscape. But after fifteen minutes of roaming I could not figure out where to go so I assumed it suck and never played again. Now one of my life's regrets...
Gaming Confession-
In Assassins creed 2, I had to meet with Leonardo Da Vinci to move on with the game. I was in the homestead and went on horseback to every single city and location I thought he would possibly be, blissfully unaware that 1; fast travel was a thing that existed in the game and 2; he was literally in the next room that I originally started in at the homestead. 3 hours of endless horseback riding and frustration later I found him and my anger with both the game and myself meant that I quit the game and didnt play it for a few months. Me and my friends now refer to any such incident in any game that causes frustration as "at least its not an assassins creed moment".
Gaming Confession: I was a huge final fantasy fan, was playing through 10, did all the leagues, got most of the secret stuff you could find, and had finally made my way to the very end of the game. Now having read a spoiler I knew that Titus does not make it out of the final encounter alive... I loved the game so much that i didnt want the story to end so I never did the final fight. I just turned it off before it.... and never played it again.
Confession:
I wanted GTA: Vice City for my birthday but I requested it too late and was informed that my birthday presents had already been bought. Luckily, on the big day, my mum completely forgot ... so I waited till she dropped me off at school before very emotionally murmuring to myself (just loud enough for her to hear), "thanks for wishing me happy birthday mum". She was so upset that she asked what she could do to make it up to me and I'm glad to say that Vice City was sitting on my bed when I got home from school. Best. Birthday. Ever.
I went to school in Madison and deep fried cheese curds are amazing. All Wisconsinites love cheese in just about all forms. Definitely give them a try!

Gaming confessions: Me and my friends (after hundreds of hours of Towerfall) only now found out that you can switch between arrow types with triangle. Mind. Blown.

Gaming Confession. In Hitman episode 1, when you start the mission, to your right, there stands a news reporter and a camera man. If you walk in front of the camera, they get pissed off. I kept walking in front of the camera over and over again just to see how many times i could do it until they exploded. It's 2 times.

301 CLUB!!! Working at my flying school and BOOM between flights i realised this cheeky vid. Keep up the CO-OP guys its creating a loving gaming relationship rarely seen nowadays.
Gaming confession. When i was a kid my mum hid my GTA San Andreas from me because it was too violent for me. However i knew where she hid it and played it when i was alone. One time i was playing it and heard her coming home so i quickly ejected the disk and while doing so somehow managed to drop my tv on the floor, but being one of those huge tv's from back in the day, it did not break. I managed to hide the game, and put the tv back where it was and to this day, she still does not know about it.
So your mum thought you were old enough to be home alone but not old enough to play a video game.
This is the thought scheme every mum ever.
I did this with Vice City, my mum kept it from me until after my exams, needless to say i hunted high and low and found it, played it, but was careful to open so i could put the celefane back on, she never noticed 😎 Probably failed my exam . . .

Gaming confession - I never finish Bloodborne. Although Blooborne was and still is one of my favourite game on the PS4, after I finished killing The One Reborn, I returned to Central Yharnum for a blood vial farming run and found the blood soaked ribbon. For spoiler reason I will not explain the circumstances behind this ribbon, but it broke my heart so much that I cannot bring myself to go on.
Dave! Get Nath one of those boards you use for Robs MGS obession, and have one for Naths obession for the Witcher 3.
Gaming Confession : I got Until Dawn the day it came out and played it all night, i got to the part where you "kill" josh and i was to attached to him so i restarted the game, i got to that part again and i did the opposite of what i did before and it still killed josh. I tried to save him multiple times and i didn't so i just quit the game. The next day i went to the store and returned the game,
a few months later I found out what really happened.
Hoping for #302 as that is the perfect summary of my entire life "Missed it by that much"

Gaming Confession: I used to do the FIFA turn off trick to prevent the game from autosaving when something goes wrong late in the match until the Rematch function was released. Now I force myself not to purchase it so I can play fair career modes (even though I still sometimes turn off the console during a match).
This is a confession long kept in my soul. When living in a house share at university one of our bonding experiences was playing Tekken Tag on my PS2. We would play winner stays on with fighters set to random selection. Many a good time was had yelling at Jack and Rondom Eddy until a friend came over. This friend turned out to be a Tekken expert and once he got onto a controller we couldn't get him off despite literal hours spent attempting this. Many beers later a plan was concocted where I would challenge the might of the Tekken champ. I would have my two favourite fighters of "Guy who brings sword to a martial arts contest" and "small Japanese school child of death" (the actual names of the fighters were lost in an alcoholic haze) and the champ would get randomly chosen fighters. Then my other housemates gathered round the champ with cushions pulled from the sofa and beat him with them during the match.
This is not my confession.
My confession is that I still lost.

maybe for the one on onesie part of the show you could compete doing challenges of your own design, like first to break into the military base in gta5 and steal a helicopter Or cod missions/spec ops missions on veteran difficulty where you try to beat it faster than each other, maybe using two playstations. Maybe even just some levels in dishonored, you could do a time trial or stealth only option etc.
Gaming confessions - the first time I see her played Dying Light was the free demo on the ps store. I downloaded it and gave it a go. I played all the way through until night, where I decided to risk my (in game) life and make a sprint to the nearest safe zone to sleep. After getting attack by a dozen volatiles and almost having a bloody heart attack (those thing are scary) I discovered you can't sleep in the demo. I bought the game there and then just so I wouldn't have to face that again!

GamingConfessions: I was so excited when RE7 demo was out, a bit creeped out at first when I saw the opening cinematic. Well, its not that bad, I said to myself and keep playing until i saw a few ghosts lingering around, my heart froze, screamed like there is no tomorrow, shut down ps4 by pressing the power button (seriously i prefer zombies than freaking game easter egg ghosts) and.....I've never played it since
I got the final fantasy x/x-2 hd remaster when it first came out on ps4 and I loved playing through final fantasy X ( it was my first ever play through ) it is now one of my favourite game and when to start final fantasy X-2 but after the opening to the game I put the controller down and have never played that game since!
Gaming confession: A Friend of mine told me I had to play Silent Hill 2 and won't stop bullying me for not playing it for a long time. I finally decided to go ahead and try. I got the game, put my headphones and begin my journey. I got past the intro and then assumed control in the parking lot. I proceeded to the only path available into thick fog forest, then I started to hear a motor noise. I stood still for a little while trying to determine where the noise is coming from and whether or not I should go in that direction. I decided that it worth the try and ended up finding a chainsaw. I took it and keep walking until I find a wooden house or something like that. At this point I was so tense with all the sounds and the noise of my steps and the fact that nothing happened yet that I got frighten and decided that I don't want to know what the hell should I encounter that needed a chainsaw in the very beginning... and then I never played this game again.

Gaming Confessions:
I remember when I got my ps2 and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets game had come out. I was on the very first level and I couldn't get Harry to move. His wand worked but his feet didn't. It was Christmas day and the frustration that I couldn't make him move made for the worst Christmas I can ever remember.
The next day I had another go but again no movement, I threw my controller in rage and Harry stepped forward. Turns out that all the time I played PS1 and used the D-Pad never prepared me for a game that solely relied on the analog sticks. I felt stupid. But i was only 8..
And then I never played it again:
Got FF8 back in the day and realized that with GF's I could farm for the basic spells of Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and Cure and convert them all the way up to the Tier 3 spells before even leaving the starting area. Several hours of grinding later when I had ~20 of each tier 3 spell on each of the 3 characters in my party any enjoyment I had in the game had shriveled up to a dry husk.
I gave up and haven't played it since.
#Gaming confession-Myself and a few pals years ago would always have an offline Madden football dynasty. It was great, but we always played on my system (or hdd) for the save state. So we would always naturally stop right before the new season and the rookie draft for the night. I would take my system home and then simulate deep into the season without saving seeing how the rookies would turn out. I always had the best overall team and the hardest thing was watching and telling my friends to draft a guy because he “looked good”, but knowing the whole time he was garbage. This went on for years.
It's been a while since we got a cribs style tour of your office, could we get another insight into what's new? You could get your rat badger Delsin to film it, and make him earn his stay.
So here it goes ...Gaming confession: When I was about three I used to enjoy watching my brothers play on the PS1 especially when they played metal gear solid (although I didn't know what was going on). Unfortunately I used to get so enthralled and distracted I would go to the loo... in my underwear. I had managed to suppress these memories until last year when my mum brought it up in front of my brothers who HAD forgotten about it... I know can't play mgs on my vita without feeling slightly ashamed of myself...
By the time the next Access is out there'll only be two days left until No Man's Sky! Hopefully I won't have exploded or gone supernova with excitement before then. Most anticipated game ever. Let me explore that universe already!

Thank you for a great show! 💜 As an ehum (a bit elder) gamer it can sometimes be a bit lonesome. None of my family or friends play videogames, they don't understand my fasination of it. I'm so happy that internet and youtube exists! Finally I don't feel so alone with my hobby. I love to watch your channel and share some nice moments together with you about games and watch you play, although I'm sitting all by myself far away in Sweden infront of my teve, you may me feel less weird/odd and lonely with my gaming intrest. I'm looking forward to what your next video upload will be about! 😁

Gaming confession: I own a really nice headset and use it often, but when I first enter a game with other headset users I remain quiet until they talk first. If it's someone I can't stand listening to, I hit the mute button so the won't try to have a conversation with me. I stay in the game though because high pitched squeakers can sometimes surprise me, but even if they do something amazing, I leave the mute button on.
A minute after upload? Pretty awesome. #301club

I have picked up the old PS2 game (among others) of Casper the games controls drove me crazy & rayman raving rabbits for the Wii I've stopped even attempted to play at all I will be traieding both games in.

Gaming Confession: When Saints Row the Third first came out two of my friends and I were too afraid to have our parents buy it for us at the game store because we new the cashier would read off all the reasons it was rated M. Luckily all our birthdays were within two weeks of each other so we came up with a plan where I bought it for one friend for his birthday, that friend bought it for the other, and the last friend bought it for me. That way, when our parents heard why the game was rated M we were able to say that the game was not for us and that our friend's parents were ok with them having it.
