I use split screen, pop up players regularly. I also take a lot of 4k 60fps video. Yes the phone is hot, but dk not dims the screen much and never shuts down or close apps. This usage with game and youtube playing at same time is extreme and will be never used so it doesn't translate to real world at all.

      @motionblurgamer Месяц назад +1

There are several reports of battery life being 1 hour better on iOS 18, compared to 17.6. The reason as someone pointed out is a change in the system level scheduler, remaining at lower clocks (efficiency cores?) for longer before boosting up.
A side effect of this would be slightly worse performance in some cases, if the algorithm isn’t balanced properly. Hopefully this can be fixed with some fine tuning in a later 18.x update, to get the best of both.
If both iPhones are using the same scheduler, then it would somewhat demonstrate the improvements even more going from first to second gen 3nm. But then again, maybe iPhone 16 would also have performed better on iOS 17?

Guys do not listen to this video at all. It’s been proven false many times I will explain below.
Asphalt 9 caters to the specific hardware that it’s being used on. The pixel has been shown to have the weakest gaming performance compared to these other phones by a HUGE MARGIN. HUGE… The way this was tested was incorrect. He also goes on to say that it was running in a higher resolution on the pixel. This is just incorrect.
When selecting the highest graphics settings on the pixel, it will automatically be lower than what it is on the other phones, despite them all running in the “max” setting. Visual fidelity, you are seeing on the pixel is lower than on the other phones. It also uses a variable resolution compared to the static resolution on the other phones.
Please don’t make up, lies and try to push them off as videos unless you know what you’re talking about.

The pausing probably has something to do with the new game mode. It focuses the resources of the phone on the actual game at the expense of the background apps. The new iOS 18 was mainly developed for the iPhone 16 series which would explain the poorer performance on the A17 Pro. That's very typical when you make a firmware for a specific hardware. The iOS 18 is still very new and such bugs are normal. They should be addressed in the next versions so I suggest you redo the test after 1 or 2 updates

Can you please answer this question for me? Ok, iOS 18 doesn’t seem to be running that well on the iPhone currently, but how is it possible that the Google Pixel 9 Pro performs so much better than the S24 Ultra, even though the Google Tensor G4 has only half the benchmark score of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

One ui 5.1 with samsung s23 ultra is super still 🔥 👌
I never see this one ui 5.1 performance on any device

Why not add a Pixel 8 Pro?

The premise of the test is flawed since the iPhones are outputting more information in the screen share, whereas the Pixel and s24 are outputting lower fps, higher fps=more power usage, which hurts the iPhone elsewhere even though in a testing situation, it should not. Maybe limiting the fps of the stream or the game might provide a more objective result.

Additionally, the iPhones are also prioritizing lower temperatures, reducing sustained performance and helping it stay cool and use half as much battery.

They different Operating Systems so, I don’t have control over everything and I mentioned how each one performed in each aspects to show the priorities and trade offs then u judge if u don’t agree with my judgement

So you’re telling us that S24 ultra failed. ?!? Can’t believe that, S24 it’s even better then Ihpone 16

not failed only a temp warning pops up.
the S24 have a low temp setting looks in teh video like ~45° the pixel is set to ~50°C.
the other part snapdragon is a 2 times faster running hardware in a warm up test.

@@kbtriplesix Samsung's UI sucks bro. Clearly the emojies and fonts are 0. UI means User Interface bruhh ! They don't even give their attention to animations. There may be good features but most of them are useless. Like reverse charging.

I really don't understand why the S24 would perform so bad, especially since the S23 did better. Both are using the snapdragon chip and the S24 has objectively a better chip. Did they change the modem chip? Could that be the reason for the weaker performance?

iOS 18 has only been around publicly for a few days so I'm not surprised that its a little unoptimized
