This entire test is so stupid and is only a measurement of thermal management differences between devices. Each device is running completely different work loads, and no performance metrics are tested at all. And this gives Pixel people some sort of cope that their Tensor cpu is really the best, when all that it actually shows is that Google has no thermal management at all and allows their phones to get ridiculously hot without throttling.

What people fail to realise is that pixel users actually don't care about the latest games. Latest graphic settings. We enjoy the pixel for things like voice to text, reliability, accuracy, spam calls, call screening, etc. And the pixel does that better than any Android phone. It also boots up in record time from off it's fast. No bloatware. It's a fantastic smartphone with great smarts and smooth experience all around , and the assistant integration

But the Tensor _is_ lacking compared to the other flagship chips. The reason why the Pixel is performing so well in these tests is because Google just lets their phones run hotter. You get more consistent high-end performance when you raise the throttling temperature threshold.

Guys do not listen to this video at all. It’s been proven false many times I will explain below. Asphalt 9 caters to the specific hardware that it’s being used on. The pixel has been shown to have the weakest gaming performance compared to these other phones by a HUGE MARGIN. HUGE… The way this was tested was incorrect. He also goes on to say that it was running in a higher resolution on the pixel. This is just incorrect. When selecting the highest graphics settings on the pixel, it will automatically be lower than what it is on the other phones, despite them all running in the “max” setting. Visual fidelity, you are seeing on the pixel is lower than on the other phones. It also uses a variable resolution compared to the static resolution on the other phones. Please don’t make up, lies and try to push them off as videos unless you know what you’re talking about.
Great video, I have been waiting for this . Most manufacturers when released new phone, the update on the old phone makes it worst to make new one better. I have this problem with my note 20 ultra after s24 ultra released with the option to slow video down which note 20 ultra has the option in video editing to slow of speed video. But I realized the option is no longer there . That's scam , and just saw big performance drop on 15 pro max now which to me should be treated as scam.
The pausing probably has something to do with the new game mode. It focuses the resources of the phone on the actual game at the expense of the background apps. The new iOS 18 was mainly developed for the iPhone 16 series which would explain the poorer performance on the A17 Pro. That's very typical when you make a firmware for a specific hardware. The iOS 18 is still very new and such bugs are normal. They should be addressed in the next versions so I suggest you redo the test after 1 or 2 updates
I got a 15 pro this year and i updated it to ios 18 yesterday but i'm not noticing any performance issues but i want to know if this is the case with a heavy workload will it be fixed by 18.1 or 18.2 to get the same performance as ios 17
SOC getting powerful each year this results in accumulation of more heat that throttle CPU performance for almost half. After all this year big companies just keep adding bigger and bigger vapor chamber, i think they need to adapt redmagic idea to include "fan" + vapor chamber to prolong the activation of throttling CPU performance or at least maintain the temperature
That's very much a bad idea. The Redmagic is a gaming phone. It comes with a whole bunch of engineering compromises in order to feature a fan among a whole plethora of gaming functions both physical and software.
Its kinda weird to see how the s23u did this test pretty well more than a year ago but the s24u having issues. In my experience the s24u was all around better an way cooler so this is pretty suprising to me

@ThomasNowicki-m5s I understand what you're saying, but what's the point of having a faster chip if you don't have a good cooling system or better heat control management? Samsung has to do better because even though the Pixel Pro has a slower chip, it could overheat if Google hadn't optimized the phone well.

Is it possible to do the pixel test on on the lower resolution, not full. I'm curious as to how the pixel would perform. I feel like the lower resolution is more in line with the iPhone than the higher resolution same with the Samsung
Can you please answer this question for me? Ok, iOS 18 doesn’t seem to be running that well on the iPhone currently, but how is it possible that the Google Pixel 9 Pro performs so much better than the S24 Ultra, even though the Google Tensor G4 has only half the benchmark score of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?
The premise of the test is flawed since the iPhones are outputting more information in the screen share, whereas the Pixel and s24 are outputting lower fps, higher fps=more power usage, which hurts the iPhone elsewhere even though in a testing situation, it should not. Maybe limiting the fps of the stream or the game might provide a more objective result.
Additionally, the iPhones are also prioritizing lower temperatures, reducing sustained performance and helping it stay cool and use half as much battery.
They different Operating Systems so, I don’t have control over everything and I mentioned how each one performed in each aspects to show the priorities and trade offs then u judge if u don’t agree with my judgement

Apple improving the performance of their flagships while Samsung going backwards. The S23 Ultra did a way better job at these tests than the S24 Ultra.
I made the right choice by buying the 16 Pro Max instead of the S24 Ultra this year. And I'm very content with keeping the S23 Ultra as my current android flagship.
You seem to not understand that the Samsung was gaming with the highest display and that's 2k, if they put it on par with the others(the Samsung FHD+ instead of the QHD) maybe it'd have been able to kill this competition!
You're really not understanding what a 2K resolution does for the processor. Games are not running at native resolution in any phone, not even on th 16 pro max. Resolutions should be similar on each phone with iOS taking a bit lead because of how most games are optimized for iOS so no, it was not 2K on S24 U.@@promiseololade5050

Thanks for the video. Most people just see the numbers ,not the real life performance.
How do the pixel and iPhone draw? The iPhone had 2 yellows and 4 greens while the Pixel had 2 reds a yellow and only three greens
