- Today I am cooking at home and making carne deshebrada quesatacos. This is tender stewed beef shredded and cooked in a red sauce. You can add carrots and potatoes to make it a hearty meal or use the meat for tacos.

INGREDIENTS
3 to 3 1/2 lbs beef chuck roast (I used a brisket flat)
2 1/2 L water
1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 Tbsp beef bouillon powder)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 bay leaves
1 tsp Mexican oregano
5 cloves garlic
half of a large onion
salt and pepper to taste
3 guajillo chiles (softened)
1 large tomato

Everyday is taco day for me! 🌮 i use shredded beef, apple cider vinegar, large onion chopped, and barbacoa seasoning in the instantpot. 10 minutes, stir, add seasoning, stir then another 10 minutes. Delicious

These are "the BOMB.COM"!!! I added a sliced jalapeno into the shredded beef while it simmered in the red sauce, made it even more delicious. What I like best about your recipe is that you can tailor that beef meat to really any kind of style that you want. Mexican, American, Italian, etc. Just change up the seasonings. So yummy! Wow, that looks so good. When I heard you explaing that you had no specific recipe in mind but ended up saying the word taco, I said to myself, a boring taco again?
