@@beadsprayer2929in NYS you have to do parallel parking during the road test. Don’t panic cause of parallel parking, just remember two things:
1. Parallel parking is easy. The secret is to pick one way of doing it and watch the video teaching the way you think easy for you. Memorize its techniques, aligning your car, when to turn your steering wheel left or right and backing up, the last and the very important part is PRACTICE IT, PRACTICE IT, PRACTICE IT until the fear of scratching the other car disappears.
2. Failing the road test have nothing to do with parallel parking. You can fail to parallel park, still pass your road test, so don’t feel stuck, don’t waste your 90% time on parallel parking, there are plenty of mistakes examiner judge you on, take your time and read all those mistakes and how to correct them. Some are theoretical and practical, go through them all before your test day.

Edit: update i passed both my written/behind the wheel on my first try it was easier than i thought frfr anyone who sees this n is abt to take their test you got it it’s easy asf jus pay attention to wht they ask of u and almost drive like if u were an addict of sum sort n u needed to get more of your addiction so in other words look more focused in your driving n look at every angle like when ur turning when driving wit ur instructor but other than that it is actually rlly easy maybe thts why there are so many dumb drivers on the road now
