I am crying as I remember my 1st lesson with my mother....It involved her screaming in my Ear so bad that I ended up getting rear ended....She still alive and I'm still mad about that awful attempt at a lesson when I was like 14. This woman is a saint
This is such a good video. Jacaueline as a teacher is so patient, encouraging and positive. I love how she asks the student for her input, to her explain her thinking when she does sth (right or wrong) and really cultivates her sense of autonomy and confidence early on as a driver. Wish i had a driving instructor like Jacqueline 😢 still working my way towards my licence after failing the first test becuz i was too nervous and tired the night before
I wish you were my driving instructor! you’re so nice and ask a lot of questions to check in with them. When you’re a new driver every turn every move besides straight is scary and I appreciate you checking in each time.
@Zutobi, I can not thank you enough for your free lessons . They helped me pass my driver’s test on the second try. I just moved here from Uganda with a driver’s license from my country and the road rules are completely different here, I struggled and also failed my first driver’s test. Came back and saw your videos on RUclips , paid attention to all the tips you gave , went back for the test and just nailed it . I have my license coming in the mail . Thank you so much
All your driving tutorials are incredibly helpful, not just from a technical perspective, but because your relaxed approach to teaching driving is truly inspiring! THANKS!
I passed thanks to your videos! Luckily i had the virtual test with the camera in the car with me and my moms! So much easier. Good luck to everyone taking there test no matter what your age. I got mines yesterday at 33! Feels liberating 🎉
I'm 33 and really pushing myself to get driver's license I've been stuck at home and now that I have a 3 years old son I need to drive to be able to send and pick-up him at school and I'll be going back to work.
@@TheHuffman1204 dont be afraid to try. I let my fear of failure hold me back throughout half my life and i see it was really nothing to be worried about. Just gotta give it your all and if ya fail try again. Practice makes perfect as cliche as that sounds. 👌 i believe in ya stranger!

I love the ways you teach Jacqueline.❤..you are so calm.. gentle..I wish I had a coach like you❤ watching your videos making me feel more confidence on my next week road test
I've taken driving lessons about 2 times in the past month. It was my first times on the road. This video is really going to help me the next time I book my appointment. This video had to many tips that's gonna help me way better on my third lesson. Thank you so much for this video!!
I wish I could take a lesson with her. I chickened out on taking the road test because I only could afford one lesson and it was not as detailed as this but it was helpful I resume practicing with my partner who I drive with an amplified fear with because he is impatient and gets frustrated
Such an effective video! just like mty instructor is teaching me. I am surprised she is so good at steering in her second lesson! Could you please also share the first lesson? Please keep posting this series :)
I’m currently 18, and I do not have a drivers license. All my other friends do have their license and some just have their permit. I do have my permit but I struggle with anxiety when it comes to driving and I don’t know if I’m turning too soon, too late, too fast, too slow, etc. my parents aren’t the best when it comes to teaching me but these videos have helped me when it comes to my turns, I’m slowly still learning how to turn but hopefully before the year is out I can get my license
Hi there! Thanks for the positive feedback and great suggestion! ❤ We’ll certainly consider making a video on how to handle tailgaters. In the meantime, you might find some useful tips in our other videos that cover similar topics, including tailgating. Stay tuned, and safe driving!
That's fantastic to hear! Learning to drive a manual car definitely has its challenges, but it sounds like you're making great progress. Keep practicing, and you'll master it in no time. Thanks for watching, and keep us posted on your journey!😉✌
Thank you so much Jacquelin for the excellent insturctions, I saw some of your videos before my test day and those helped me a lot to practice safe driving. Keep up good work 😊
I wish all driving instructors were like you. Most of them are not good teachers and are quite impatient from what I have noticed. Driving schools need better standards for instructors and they need to give them training.
I have been enjoying watching your videos for an easy breakdown of driving basics! Also I thought it was funny because your names are Jaqueline and Jasmine and that’s mine and my twins name but with different spellings😂
She didn't always move her head to check blind spots, and didn't always check mirror. It is very important to always check, it doesn't matter that you think nothing is there or no one is around, you still check, to make a habit out of "checking".
You're absolutely right, and that's a very important point. Consistently checking mirrors and blind spots is crucial for safe driving. It should become second nature, ensuring you're aware of your surroundings at all times. Thanks for your valuable input! 😉✌
I check for all traffic around me every 2 seconds. Like my own personal radar. I know some people just stare straight ahead, like my uncle & some relatives, which is the dumbest thing to do. And it shows because they drive so slow or have been in several accidents, all caused by them. Don't just stay in your lane, la di da, turn up the radio. Driving is the interaction between you & millions of other drivers. Anything could happen in a blink of an eye, plane could fall out of the sky, semi blows a tire, huge rock fall out of a dump truck, animal run across the road, stupid drivers on their phones crossing into your lane, etc. A way to get out of your blind spot is to shift forward & backward in your seat. My mirror placement is different than what is taught in these videos. I intimately know my vehicle, where my 4 tires are, where the 4 corners of my vehicle are, how much clearance I have on my underside, to the point I can place it within several inches of any object while going 60+ mph. That said, my outside mirrors do NOT show the side of my vehicle. You need to see objects around you. So my side mirrors are about 1 foot away from the side of my vehicle. My rearview mirror is not center. If centered, then the left side mirror & rearview would overlap, which is redundant. Your blind spot is more on your right side (USA only), so I slightly angle the rearview mirror to the right to cover more of the blind spot.
I have a question. At 19:55, she could choose either of the lane, right? If she needs to turn left, then preferably left lane, otherwise right. Am I correct?
it’s super common thinking to do that but technically it’s a lane violation because the law states that a left turn should lead you to the left lane on the right side of the road and a right turn should lead you to the right lane of the right side of the road
I think it was because ahead of her, there was a stopped car JUST past the intersection. If the student driver had went ahead forward, she would've been stopped on the crosswalk and possibly in the intersection.
You are the best. My test is coming up and I was wondering do I need to stop when turning right on a green light? Do I need to check blindspots only for lane changes or also for every turn??
Hi ! I have a very specific driving question that relates to yield right turns . I watched your video but it didn’t answer the question . Would you be able to help me ? It’s a big debate between my friends and I !
I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you've faced with your driving tests. It can be really frustrating, but don't give up! Every driver learns at their own pace, and sometimes it takes a few tries to overcome those hurdles. Keep practicing, focus on the areas that need improvement, and maybe consider additional lessons if possible. You've got this, and you'll be passing that test before you know it! Hang in there! 🙌
I noticed the girl getting a bit nervous at the turns. Overall, she did very well, bravo to the instructor for encouraging first time driving students, driving can be very difficult and scary for many, we need a lot of patience ❤
I do very well my turns, I just struggle a little with switching left lane, and sometimes staying coordinated while on my lane as I see cars on the opposite lane driving by next to me...😫
I only need to comment on the turn lessons. The learners turn the vehicle and used the steering returnability of the car but it is dangerous. Because if steering return manually is not taught it will lead to accident like situation often. I think teaching how to turn the vehicle and when to return the steering to original position is of paramount importance.
because she’s a new student trying to be cautious. technically, she had the right of way and didn’t need to stop. not to mention she had enough space to keep going. plus, the cars on the left lane in front of her weren’t giving the people she was keeping a distance for enough space. this literally made no difference because they would still be blocked
Where can i find you to be my instructor 😭 I need a better teacher I failed my test today cause of my Turns I was turning to short and I was being extra cautious too 😭
oj i didn’t know that thê quality of the road is not so good there. So can say that in sweden we have quiet good quality road. Anyway i find myself in this video exactly same like the girl, so nervous for the first few lessons 😅😅
Given the title of the video I was expecting more instruction the mechanics of turning left and right. The only real instruction I heard was point the thumb to the white line. Which doesn't tell me much.
My driving instructor was like:... "Turn le.. wrong, too slow, now sign... wrong, you have to... wrong, thats a fail... now try to mo... wrong, thats 10 points..."... Jesus Christ! I learned and passed my drivers exam because of my friends who let me practice in their cars. Not because of that guy whom I paid money to "teach me". I'm really so sad knowing that the learning experience could have been heaven if you are my driving instructor.
