When applying the wire, I also run it through a seam as you do. What do you think of running it under a ladder stich. I mean yeah it's hand stitching and a bit ugly but you could put it anywhere?
if the black part (top of the cape) is thick enough, you might want to consider shaving lines that can let the wires sit flush on the said part. quite a huge decision tho on where you want the cape to fall on the body, (full coverage or semi full)

Omg thank you for the video and template
I am happy that I can help. Best of luck with your cape. :)
Dude know I’m late but it looks sick and I’m definitely gonna do it myself thank you for the tutorial!
Thank you so much for the comment. I appreciate you taking the time.
Thanks for sharing, always enjoy to watch your tutorial
Thank you so much.
Good template… thanks for sharing.. very helpful
Thank you so much.
I wish i had the foresight to bend the wire tips. It poked holes in my fabric 🤦 but now i know to do so.
I have made so many silly mistakes I can't even keep count haha. Onwards and upwards!
Use a small plier to bend the ends

That is a neat idea. I have not tried it yet. But it might work. As long as the ladder stitch width is close enough
@@AzrachToys I stitched up a body suit today and i realized it might work on a few hard to get, no need for seam areas.
@@donsawyer4521 I will give it a shot soon. Thank you for the suggestion :)
Hello, Thanks for the tutorial, Which type of fabric you're using? What's it called?
It is a stretch fabric. I searched ffuture mor ebay
Awesome! Thank you so much for the video brother!
I am glad to have helped.

That is a great idea. Maybe having 2 slots where you can transition between full and semi coverage might work 🤔
Will the template work in size for my mcfarlane hush black and Grey batman? Thanks
Yes it should work for all mcfarlane figures.
Great, I think if you do a finer stitching the cape will look better!
Thank you so much :)
Try florist or garden wire from Bunnings it would be cheaper, thankyoufor your very informative video.cape looks great
Thank you so much. I will look at more wire options.
Thanks for the tutorial! What type of fabric did you used on the wired cape? It looks really nice!
It's a thin 4 way stretch fabric I found in a local hobby store. Not sure what it is called.
It's called florists wire
Would you need to alter the measurements at all if you didn't want the wire in the cape?
Not really you can still use the same template for a cape without the wires.
It is sooo hard to do it because we don't have any of this in my country and it sucks
Ohh damm :(
Thanks bro 😍 i can make my moon knight cape now 😍
That is awesome. Best of luck!
This is all hand switched correct!?
Yes this is all hand stitched.
Please do one for spawn
I do not have a spawn figure but the cape would be similar.
The links for the template do not work. Dangerous website almost gave my phone a virus
The website is no longer active. I need to redo my website at some point.
Could this fit for mcfarlane
Yes
What Batman is it
Mcfarlane detective comics 1000 batman.
Thank you so much 👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@AzrachToys yes thank you I really wanted to know as well😁🫡

I should do an updated tutorial for the capes!
@AzrachToys none of the links work anymore.
@AzrachToys how long are the lines on the template?
Ur confusing mate , ur going over things too fast
I will try to do an updated video soon with more details. Thank you for the feedback.
That looks horrible 😂
🤣 you should see mine 😳
Looks pretty decent to me, obviously with practice it will look better. And at least it’s a good attempt since most companies don’t give mired capes
Let's see your's then, buddy
