Hey, I've been (mostly unsuccessfully) working on my own 3D printed figure. I think a lot of my issue is using the wrong material, but I was also wondering about your assembly process. When you say you heat the pieces up, are you hitting them with a heat gun or like, submerging them in hot water for a little bit, or something else?
Hi, which material do you request for the 3d printed figure? And the skin tone its a standar colour for the olastic skin, or it can be also ask for a more brown tan skin?
@AzrachToys thanks for the quick reply, so the UTR3000 its the best for action figures for the resistence and flexibility?, I mean it is no brittle material?
es on PCBWay UTR3000 is a great option. I would also recommend reaching out to the PCBWay customer support team. They may have better options available.
good job! I want to know if there is a way to make the parts a little flexible so I can plug them in and out without them being brittle or breaking. And if the face can be painted with uv dtf. thanks btw
heating up 3d Prints makes them more flexible. I use a hair dryer to make things flexible. I have not used DTF to paint faces but if you have the right equipment it should be possible.
I need help I wanna make my own action figure but I don’t know how big the articulation point should be so they can fit like not too loose or not too tighg
@@bradleyvaughn1991 I see what you mean. Yes it is a bit difficult to navigate. www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Azrach_Toys_Action_Figure_Base_Body_fc4b8812.html
@@AzrachToys because for the price you paid you could get a printer yourself. The prototype you received are bad quality prints. I paid some company to print stuff for me before as well, got fed up with poor quality so I purchased my own printer. You paid over 200 for those prints... You may as well save up a bit more to get your own printer. Too many layer lines when you close up and chipped off pieces
@Vlogganator888 I see what you mean. I agree with you that buying a 3d printer is a cheaper solution however, i have to keep in mind that people who live in apartments or people who have children, may not want to have the potentially harmful 3d printing materials at home. For some people 3d printing may be a new thing they don't want to learn and they just want a one off print. It's another option if it is required :)
Thanks for the info!
I'm glad it was helpful
You are awesome! Any luck designing butterfly joints for shoulders?? Thanks for sharing all this information
Thank you so much. Still working on making the butterfly better. I should be able to do more work on it next year.

Typically both will work. For my personal projects I am using a hairdryer to heat up the parts.
any reason why you aren't selling the 3d models?
Where do I buy the 3d model you designed. Like the file for me to print. Btw ur figures are awsome
I am no longer selling 3d printable files :(
@AzrachToys why?
Great video bro, i have a question, are your models based of mafex designs? Cause they look really similar
Keep the good work 👍
Yes they are designed with heavy inspiration from Mafex.
Beautiful🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you
amazing
Thank you

I requested the UTR3000 the skin color is standard with that resin.

Does resin works for an upscaled version, especially the joints? Was thinking about printing a figure in 1.25 or so
It should work even if it is upscaled.

My tip for that is to test print. Just test one joint and print with multiple tolerances. Make sure you mark them and find the best fit.
Yo do you know if ur figures can be printed on fdm printers with filament??
I am working on a figure dedicated to FDM printing. Coming soon!
unfortunately, this figure will not work on an FDM printer.
Any chance you do anything Dragon Ball ?
Maybe soon!
@@AzrachToys that website is not user friendly lol. And I hope you do Dragon Ball soon 👍🏻

just buy a mafex at that point
Mafex is amazing!
Can you show noobs how to use pcb?
LOL. Yes, I definitely can. I will work on a video soon.
to be honest those are pretty bad quality prints
Why do you say that?
