Elden Ring - Where to go after Dragon Temple Lift Site of Grace in Crumbling Farum Azula

- Hi everyone, another Elden Ring video, if you're watching this video you are not too far from the final boss in Crumbling Farum Azula, but you must have felt very confused because from the Dragon Temple Lift site of grace, you keep going forward and kill a whole bunch of super difficult enemies, obtained lots of cool items, but you just can't find the final boss of the area.
The reason for that is because you actually need to go backwards a bit and go another way to find the "Dragon Temple Rooftop", which is the next site of grace. The Dragon Temple Lift is kind of a dead end - even though it looks like you are progressing, if you keep going forward you actually end up full circle and come back to an earlier area that you've already been.
In the video you will see exactly where to go from the Dragon Temple Lift to the Dragon Temple Rooftop. You can see on the way there is a super difficult knight. You can probably run past it but I tried to kill it and found it super difficult. Eventually after I defeated it I only got 8000 runes, so not sure if it's worth it. Enjoy the video!

Same I'm on ng+ I am trying not to use guides this time. But man I was stumped when I got to this part again.
How the fuck does that Crucible Knight not have a health bar and fog wall? It was undeniably more difficult than some of the fogwall bosses in the game, and even harder than a couple Shardbearers. Unreal! I'm level 307 with 60 vigor and it took me 10 amber flasks to beat that fool. They're just so relentlessly aggressive, it's kind of infuriating.

Just killed him with 3 jump-hits on my first playthrough as level 147...

@@GravoliJust used Terra Magica + Comet Azur combo with extra fp and did 10000+ damage and he’s insanely tanky . He’s not easy to beat don’t make him out that way lol.
For any of you who have been dying to the knight dude you really don’t have to fight him. you can just run behind the pillars on the far left till you make it to the spot to jump.

I’m a dumbass. For the record, I’m on NG+4 and have never struggled with traversal in Farum Azula.
After not playing for like 8 months, I get back on and thought the lift would bring me up… I explored for an hour before watching. Thanks for the quick answer!!

Spam the knight by the first entrance after you jump down from the ruins. He keeps attacking but cannot get to you unless he uses his flying attack. I dodged the flying attack and he fell off and died

Found a better cheese. Use Godslayers greatswors ash of war while he's pinned in between pillars.
Less than 3 mins I killed him & I've been at this mini boss for over an hour..

you don't actually have to fight the crucible knight. you can lure him forwards and then run around him, jumping as shown in the video

U dont have to kill that knight u can just jump off the ledge to the right and there is a grace right there

Furreal though, this game is way less polished than Bloodbourne or DS3. Still fairly fun, but not nearly as good or smooth or fair.

The biggest problem with this game, whether or not you agree, is its issue with communication. Level design is wonderful to get lost in, but when you’re done exploring and actually want to make progress, you shouldn’t have to think “Ok, no really. Where do I go?”
Also you shouldn’t have to watch a RUclips video to find out how a major mechanic in your game works. (Poise)

I literally can't make the jump. My char simply will not jump the distance. Is this a bug or has the game been patched or what the fuck is up with this shit?
EDIT: made it - it's just an extremely hard and downright broken jump.

I think they made it so you can't pull that lever to bring the lift back up in the recent update...? It will not allow me to pull that lever?!?
the lift is probably up. that room is really dark so look closely but be careful not to fall

Nah the plot is wonderful. But the level design admittedly is lacking a few times in the game.
