Elden Ring is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game, directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, was made in collaboration with fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, who provided material for the game's setting. Elden Ring was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022.
Elden Ring is an action role-playing game played in a third-person perspective with gameplay focusing on combat and exploration; it features elements similar to those found in other games developed by FromSoftware, such as the Souls series, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki explained that players start with a linear opening but eventually progress to freely explore the Lands Between, including its six main areas, as well as castles, fortresses, and catacombs scattered throughout the open world map. These main areas are interconnected through a central hub that players can access later in the game's progression-similar to Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls-and are explorable using the character's mount as the main mode of transport, although a fast travel system is an available option. Throughout the game, players encounter non-player characters and enemies alike, including the demigods who rule each main area and serves as the game's main bosses.

The number of secrets in this game is so crazy. I'm on new game + 6 and I'm still discovering new things. Yesterday I was so excited because I discovered a new secret cave that I've never encountered before lol.
Iam 400 hours into the game and still discovering things in Calid.
Where is this cave?
It's not even enough to explore somewhere once. You kill 1 major boss and everything changes

@@tyroneegure6155 I wouldn't say everything changes haha! And I explore thoroughly, I just missed a few hidden paths or spots that are out of the normal path.
This game is the ultimate playground. I remember back when GTA IV came out I spent so much time doing nothing because I loved Liberty City, and Elden Ring turns that up to 11/10. I've tried almost every weapon/spell/clothing/gear and it still feels like I've only scratched the surface in terms of how to combine them all.

I’m starting to do a tanky build and it turns the game in easy mode almost
Little tip for all you who don't know use the golden epitaph sword found in azuira heroes grave and you can kill death birds and any other creature that lives in death in just a couple of hits does triple the damage on them when you use its ash of war you don't even need to use the epitaph sword to fight just cast its ash of war and use the weapon you like.

So if you got 2000 health, the talisman can be understood as 200 hidden or extra health.

Interesting, I did miss this! I appeared here late at night and a bell bearing enemy appeared in the shack too. I actually just found one smiliar at the merchant in Capital Outskirts, if you show up at noon where the merchant sits he is not there and instead a red spirit enemy appears. Only happens at noon. Everyone may already know this but I thought it was neat.

killed this in early game with a level 15 samurai, after farming the titans, i saw that bird, and i decided to keep running around and let the trolls and the bird attacking each other. simple by runing around both. its easier

I found this by accident while farming trolls here. Was fighting the troll right by the ruins and deathbird just dropped on top of me. Scared the crap out of me. Somehow I killed it first try with a troll at the same time. Considering I am low level and this is my first play through I was shocked I killed it. Luck probably.

Your hp has to be low and it only helps a little lol great secret though
Just did this on 3 characters. Make sure it's night time, 130 level was my lowest, no problem. No need for mimic ash or any summons. The only reason you kill the sheep is to get them out of the way for bird/boss fight, but to be honest, the bird kills them as he attacks you. Walk up to the stone pillar where you see the glowing runes to activate this boss..... Pretty easy fight.... But new players could use summon....

Sacred Damage will kill undead easily. Use the ash of war on any weapon and its easy going. If you go futher to the right on the map, there is a bug with the "sacred blade" you even dont need to put any points on faith, just let it sacred.

When they say "Raises defense when HP is low" does that mean your HP level to begin with has to be low, as in a player who hasn't levelled up much? Or if you're someone like me with high HP to begin with the buff can kick in if my HP gets dwindled down from enemy damage?
It's from getting hit and losing health it'll kick in

sacred blade has a ranged attack and is easily obtained from a scarab beetle drop just north of 3rd church of marika.

This is just a collector's item, trash to use.🎉🎉🎉😂 you have to be on the brink of death for it to affect your defense, and by that point you really could have used a decent effective Talisman to prevent you from getting to that point in the first place. Hard pass on this, just collect.
