Just replaced the shells on my white Series S controller yesterday. Amazing product! Not only was it so much fun to do (made me feel like a tech pro), the result is just beautiful. The plastic does not feel cheap at all, looks better in person, too. I only replaced the white parts of my controller and kept the black sticks and buttons to maintain the "official" look. Gorgeous! Highly recommended!
The only thing that bothers me a bit is that, as opposed to the original shell, there are no little trigger cushions on the shell, which makes the triggers a bit too clicky for my taste. Other that that, job well done!
Congrats!!! For the trigger cushions, you can take the stock ones off and stick it to the clear one :)
@@ExtremeRate Do you know the best way to do this? I've attempted with tweezers but I feel like it will tear the cushions apart.

Love you guys keeping the old-school transparent controllers alive! Will you be making any color transparent versions for the Series X controller? I'd personally like to see a red one.

They are for the series x and they have red blue green atomic purple
I got stuck on removing the battery prongs 20:00 I have no idea how you were able to easily remove them, I had to use a prying tool and a screwdriver to remove them....

Got my clear kit, along with the swappable thumb sticks from Amazon coming in this week to use on an extra Series X controller. I just need the controller LED kit for this version of controllers.
And speaking of LEDs, I need the LED Light Strip kit for the PS4 Pro to come back. It's been out of stock for a few weeks! 😭

Hey, I was wondering are these clear shell stuff as high quality as the oem stuff? Like do they have the grips for the triggers, bumpers etc?
There are studded dots on triggers and bumpers, but not on the side rails and bottom shell

Is the back part of the shell compatible with the Xbox One S controller, if I buy the clear faceplate for it? You never made a full clear shell for the One S controller, and I ain't switching to a pad that does the exact same just for a shell.

2) Is there an option for a front controller shell where there is enough room to interchange both sticks without tearing the controller down? (Like Scuf controllers) That would be a great design idea for you guys and I think a lot of customers (including me) will be interested in.

@@nofelomar5447 No I meant if they could make it wider for the whole stick base to interchange without tearing the controller down, like Scufs for e.g. they have this ring that you unlock and then you swap the whole stick not just the heads, would be awesome to see that

EDIT: So I ended up doing it and everything went well but the battery casing is waaaay too big? Like my AA batteries just fall out. I swapped the original battery sheet following the video exactly too, so I'm not sure why they don't fit correctly.
Please try to pull the + - metal plate out a bit, it will help the batteries stay.
Why is the series x/s controller the only product you don't offer a kit for in clear black? I see ps5 controller kits and even xbox one controller kits in clear black. Any plans on a clear black X/S kit?

Will the the controller's original grip plates snap into your back shell?

You should do a clear controller with the four buttons on the back and trigger stops all being clear and see through

nice one, this tutorial made my controller, which had only one broken button, an completely broken controller because of the wire stuff in the back of the main board, what am i supposed to do i am not a technician, i give this video a seppukku/10, would break controller again

What do you mean? You mean Dpad like the Xbox One controller?
@@ExtremeRate no the dualshock. You know how it had a dpad that is just one solid button? You should make a kit where it turns the dpad into 4 seperated buttons to avoid accidental button presses for fighter games.

The gold end broke off one wire when I pulled the black wire off at 8:08. Is there any way to fix this? Or is my controller dead now?

The Series X/S home button is slightly smaller than the Xbox One, but they are not compatible
my controller wont turn on now....
Update: it was my mistake. There are 2 prongs that stick out from the inside, make sure both end up in the batery compartment. Also make sure you connect your wires back EXACTLY how they were before so that the wireless connection is not intermittent.

@@cheke_hs No, the side grips of the Pro controller are smooth. And please aware they are not rubber, they just plastic like the normal pro controller :)

Why are my screws not going into the new housing
Were you using the original screws or the screws go with the housing?
@@ExtremeRate I used the ones that came with the kit first and then I tried with the original screws and they seemed too wide or something. I got it in luckily but it was kind of hard to
I did this and now the battery holder is to big to hold the batteries
The metal plates can be bent, please re-shape them to fix the batteries.
@@ExtremeRate i fixed it apparently 1 of the pieces to that goes in the battery holder was missing so i had to take it off my old back everything worked out thanks

If you just swap the front shell, bottom shell, and side panel, that's very easy :)

Idk if you ever figured it out, but the metal contacts probably didn't get guided through the shell.
Why is it so complicated and how does the controller not break
as someone that works with electronics, it’s actually hard to break these things, just be gentle and youll be fine
