    Thank you sir, The first and only video that shows you can load line with head attached by alignment of scribed line on feed head and line feed holes, great video, works great on my new {2021 model}, FS 56 RC, keep up the great work!

    Exactly what I needed. Just bought a brand new FS 56 equipped with this exact Autocut head. I only used it twice but it stopped feeding the line all of a sudden. For some reason, the line was all mangled and completely jammed on the spool. Whoever did it at the store screwed it up I suppose. But anyway, once I finally got the line free, I installed it properly in no time thanks to Josh’s video. That helped a lot. Thank you!

    Thank you. To my absolute amazement, after watching you do it, I was able to replace my line on the first try. Btw-- this was the third video on how to do this I watched-- actually dumped out of the other two early because they were confusing. You weren't and I thank you again.

    Great tutorial, well done, and you actually made it interesting as well as fun, with the goats playing and the RC mower in the back being herded by the dog. I am a new Stihl trimmer owner (56) and have owned a Stihl saw for years, very happy with both.

    I have the Auto-Cut C26-2
    I have a tough time with the Auto-Cut feature.
    I'll edge one-sided of the drive-way and then have to stop and extend the wire because it's shortened.
    Is there a way for a continuous cut while I edge?

    Great trimmer head and it fits a Stihl without that dumb spacer and the cut off bar matches the trimmer line unlike the echo speed feed take care my friend hope to see you at Expo

    You make it look so easy, I have never been able to get the string to go straight through the other side. I find myself still having to take apart to get it through then I can wind it up by hand. Its frustrating cause im usually hot and tired from weed eating. Any ideas of what im doing wrong, everything was lined up and should have worked.

    • @signor_No
      @signor_No 2 месяца назад

      You need only to alline the groove on the bump side of the head with the hole, then insert the trimmer line, the line don't have to be straight to go to the other side, just keep feedind the line untill you see that came out on the other side. Mine never got stuck in the head when i inserted it

      The AutoCut 27-2 will have that option. But it does require disassembly to load.

  • @chrisj5984
    @chrisj5984 Год назад

    I had that Stihl for a while but after a little use the bottom gets a little rounded making it extremely difficult to rewind new line in the head. The Stihl dealers don't even recommend them. Just got the NEW Stihl autocut 27.2 which makes some much needed improvements over their original bump head but you still need to know how to reload string yourself.
    If you are really into the self feeding heads I would get the Speedfeed head, I believe its made by Shindawia and they make a universal kit to retro fit many weedeaters. I just can't recommend the 26.2 autocut head, they need to go back to the drawing board on that one.

      @@Sigurd651 I did landscaping for 2 yrs. When put to the test and doing multiple properties the head would jam up a lot and not feed the line. It can’t handle getting too dirty. I didn’t have time to be cleaning it up after every 1 or 2 jobs. My echo speed feed heads can go all day every day and always feed the line. Not only that they are a lot easier to feed the line through as well.
