Little Footnote: The amount of care that guy was taking to line up the holes with the aluminum dowels speaks volumes to the amount of care and craftsmanship that goes into your work. It's the little details like that, that make the biggest difference. This is superbly well done.
that is gorgeous. i love how resin can add so much plus it can make more usability in less desirable wood slabs. totally in many ways upcycling damaged wood
absolutely a beautiful table, I am sure the people who asked you to make this is mighty proud. About 25 years ago when myself and my husband moved into our home he came home one day with a better 6 ft piece of wood. I said honey what is that for you going to chop it up for firewood, no he said I'm going to make us a mantle for the fireplace. I said okay whatever, as he worked on it for a few days I realized it was oak wood he had picked it up for $20. Needless to say I have an absolutely beautiful mantle. Isn't it a Wonder what people can do with wood!!
Well done to the entire talented group of people that worked on this beautiful piece. It is a work of art. Just stunning. To the owners, enjoy this stunning creation they had a vision for.
I can imagine your client was well satisfied with the craftsmanship that turned his/her vision to reality. The piece is gorgeous and works perfectly in that space.

Beautiful table… would’ve liked to see a little more detail on the actual build, but appreciated seeing the difficulty of the moving/installation process… not easy with something that massive and heavy! How much did it weigh and did the clients have extra supports in their flooring to handle something so massive?!?
Imagine being this well off to pay 30k for this beauty! As a local artist this is ultimately my goal to sell my work for its true value! Excellent craftsmanship
That midnight blue resin is gorgeous and doesn't distract from the beauty of the wood. Your client has excellent judgement choosing it. The whole piece is fantastic.
Huge plus for the music. Makes me feel like im running through the Dam level, big head on, paintball cheat on, of course were talking about James Bond Golden Eye on the 64. Nice table, the base isfantastic
I'd love to have one of these tables for my kids to grow up with. I would write a timeless series for my kids, using the wood as the map and landscape for the epic adventures. wouldn't it be fun to do story telling around a table like that?
OK, this is the third video of yours that I’ve watched. I am not a woodworker by any means, but did subscribe. Absolutely wonderful craftsmanship and delivery. Good job. I look forward to finding more videos of yours.

In the 70's we used to go to Fort Bragg Califoria to find burls to carve and make tables out of. I never imagined to do a table like this. Very beautiful.
If I seen that on a pallet I’d tear it apart , I’ve gotten a few amazing pieces of wood that I’ve reclaimed , my favourite has been my figured babinga which Brad identified for me , thank u Brad 😎
Actually, cottonwood is one of the only woods that most animals will not chew on. It is often used in cattle barns and pig barns for animal enclosure aka pens and for feed bunks as well. It is also a direct substitute for poplar in many cabinet companies for cleats and chamfer blocks etc.
Cotton wood is a type of poplar wood, it’s just not tulip poplar which is arguably a prettier tree and what hardware stores sell instead of cottonwood. :)
This is an amazing table! I wish you would have shown in the video the entire table....i wanted to see the base and top together a little better than shown. Great table, superb craftsmanship, and topnotch customer service as always!!
Awesome work, no question. But when they handled the plate around i was afraid that it breaks somewhere at the connections between resin and wood. But like we all see, its rock solid ;) Beautiful table, i would like to make one myself half the size and not so complex base. Thanks for this super documentation! :-)
At around the 15 minute mark, it reminded me of Super Troopers when they were having that keg party and kept having them move the keg to different parts of the room. "It would have better fungswae over there" lol. Beautiful table!
That’s one hell of a beautiful table. Just perfection. What were the exact measurements anyway? It’s huge. I’m also wondering how much the whole thing weighed. The way they build houses these days I have visions of it going through the floor and winding up in the basement.
I imagine that anyone, or entity, with the clout to purchase this piece isn’t living a a house that was built like that. I was a project manager for a national tract home builder for many years, so I do know what you mean!
i love when the guy shakes his head when he does the final check on the table prior to delivery. I saw that lol. I assumed it was for an office since it was so big.
Wonderful work and superb job the guys did of getting that table through what looks like a very narrow doorway compared to the table and the carriers. I am sure others noticed that when the table was on its side in the home at 16.45, what a fabulous almost landscape picture it created with the light behind it. I can imagine the table lit from underneath could give these pieces a whole new aspect! Thanks for this amazing video.

Beautiful. I have only one complaint. I would like at least 3min of high quality camera worship to take it in from every angle. You left me wanting MORE!! 👍
Wow guys fantastic table!!!!!! Question: After a pour when you disassembles the table template, do you reuse anything of the materials from the mold? Or is it just trash?
poly coats do need sanding or not after all aplying is same as epoxy , for perfect coat you need sanding on poly also, right and we can buff it also for satin or gloss?
I saw a bloody elbow, so I know moving this beautiful monster demanded a price for its creation. Hope that was all it demanded. I had a thought that a string of lights strung on the undersides, all around where the midnight blue resin surrounds the table would be a beautiful touch too. Over all a rare and awe inspiring creation. 10 + our of 10 rating on this one.
Hi i have a question about the two component catalytic urethane Can i know what brand do you use it…? Or can you recommend one to avoid the scratches in the resin. I bought your ceramic ones but I'm looking for something more durable, thanks
