Epoxy is a thermoset plastic so once it's hard heat won't be able to turn it back to a liquid state whereas acrylic is a thermoplastic so heat can melt it and let it self-level on the surface.

Acrylic is a thermoplastic. You can re-melt it, which is really easy to do at the sanded face level. Epoxy is a thermoset. You can soften it if you raise the temp higher than the cure temp, but you cannot "melt" it. It will be pliable and then it will burn. You have to buff it out.

I've personally done probably 50+ Bar top resturants' bar tops and epoxy pours and every couple of years came back and done re-pours over a 20 year span for mostly the same clients/ bar owners in multiple states and abroad. One thing Ive learned through oit the years, especially in the construction phase of bar build outs is always work from the finishes backwards and complete all the prepwork in structual/ weight loads, low maintenance, water proof materials ect... the mistake on having to add brackets supports and most likely no solid backing should have been addressed by the G.C. in the framing phase . A couple 4x4 Pt stud posts @ multiple locations and marked locations on a set of asbuilt plans and alot of photos of the framing w/ Dimension spec locations is cheap and a huge time and cost saver.
As for your video, a very excellent quality professional job done w/very well thought professionalism. Your company represents our trades very well.
Just a suggestion : the Equipment Jacks you used I've used setting 1,000lb marble columns to lift up to 2nd floor locations. They were a back saver and I doubted the main stairs would support the weight w / just 1 column and 6 to 8 mens weight on top of that. Strap your material and use multiple lifts. A little trick I did was lay a 3/4 plywood runner coarse on the floor @ the front end wheels to compensate for the weight of my materials tipping the Jacks down.
Thank you again for a great video. Always a joy seeing the youth take great pride in the trades. We are a dying breed these days

I have worked with those hand crank jacks more than I'd like to admit haha in setting up concert stages and big heavy trust. I have ran into the same issues you guys did where stuff wants to slide off. So either tie a lifting strap and a shackle around it so it can't slide off Or if you're in a situation like you guys were where you need to lift up and slide you guys could put little blocks at the end of the forks so that nothing can slide off and Just use a c clamp or any type of clamp to hold the blocks. 👌

I don't think it was intentional, but it was a very unfortunate mistake haha. Thanks Maranatha!!
