Watching along and get to 4:00 see the poor kid in the red shirt and the look of inner pain, embarrassment and belittlement as the guy in the black forest shirt yanks the glue brush out of his hands, while he was trying to help, like he didn't even exist. Then backing it up to confirm what I saw. Then realizing that I'm not the only one that caught it because the view-graph shows it as one of the top most replayed segments... I don't know who you are buddy, but YOU are worthy and I respect you.

hurt me to see such belittlement still exists, we should be lifting the youth up not downing them. This future generation that we're creating are lost because of our actions. Kid, who ever you are, i hope you are reading this and every other message from us, we noticed this and feel your pain. Keep your head up and do not let this embarrasment that was shown for the world to see in this platform bring you or your dreams to shatter. We came to see the beautiful creation that you were a part of but instead noticed something else for mere seconds. Beautiful work buddy!

I'm a commercial Glazier in Minnesota. I've done many extruded and clad aluminum and glass entrances. Banks ,hotels, malls and homes. This entire project from creation to install was flawless. You glazed the resin panels to the door with butyl tape. Maybe 3M double faced foam tape would have been a consideration? And I would put a bead of silicon on the panel to wood interface bit I'm not 100% sure it's a must.
I could not have set the frame better myself your man did it how I would have.
My God, it's just absolutely beautiful!! I am beyond impressed gentlemen!!

    • @bradthomas8711
      @bradthomas8711 2 года назад

Thank You Iron Myno. Our procedures are not unfounded. I have been a door maker since I was 18... That gives us a huge frame of reference to draw from. This is the best way to do this. We would have used the double sided foam tape that we use on all of our straight panels, but it was far easier to manipulate the butyl into the shapes we needed. I have been doing wood panels with the tape for like 15 years and butyl on the glass since day 1. Almost every one else clamps the panel into the door when they assemble... Our way allows us to completely finish the opening and all surfaces of panels prior to final installation. It made sense to apply the same principals to a resin panel. And then there are still the dowel doubter's...

Stunningly beautiful project; to say that you guys did a fantastic job is a gross understatement. On a side note, with your concern and detailed work paid to eliminating bubbles, perhaps you should consider building a vaccum room large enough to house your largest projects.

This is hands down the most beautifull door or even object you guys have made. I have been wishing to become a miljonair just so I can get you guys to do the whole house 😂😅. Spectaculair guys! I think there will be coming in requests for more of these type of doors.

Beautiful. A real work of art. They must weigh a ton each!
I must ask, how does the epoxy stand up to the outdoor environment and especially UV light?
I’m only just beginning to dip my toes into the world of epoxy for turnings and for filling voids.

HELLO ! Thank you for posting another door !
I love wood doors, I installed 8 of them until now .
    However, I have a question :
It's the dismantle equally important to be done in the right way as the installation of the new door ?
    My carpenter taught me :
First, you need to take out the nails, screws from the wood frame to prevent damaging the wall

      Thanks for watching!
This is definitely true. We have to carefully remove the brick mould and the interior casing before we can take out the jamb.
Luckily since we were the guys who installed this 20 years ago, we knew just what to do.
