Me as a grown up man almost cry at the words "Sometime it doesn't matter if it is true or not, what matter is the story that you believe in."
Sadly it does hit too close to home with crazy people that are in fight with reality- and sadly doing very real things over 'what they believe in' even when completely detached or even opposed to whats true/real

Isnt crazy how studios just decide release the same project all at once. We have this,IF, another film called imaginary,purple crayon movie and even foster home is making a come back.

He wanted to have his own independent company of his own and detach from the work ideals of his father to have his own visual sense of appeal and creative freedom hence with the Mary and the Witch's flower as their first ever film-debut release in 2017. This will be the second film that will showcase Studio Ponoc's visual scale and most animators who work on this movie are formerly from Ghibli there has been not quite of a difference but it does pull from a creative narrative.

It looks very Ghibli-like because PONOC is a studio founded by one of Ghibli's co-founder, Yonebayashi. The studio is also known for "Modest Heroes" which constitutes of 3 short films and the famous "Mary and the Witch's Flower". They're very Ghibli-like with the visuals
