The fact that she is STILL swooshable with one hand (and some space) despite looking so goddamn unwieldy and being based on a design with no intention of ever being made into ANY toy, let alone a transforming one, is a staggeringly wonderful coincidence.
Truly the nemesis was designed for maximum carnage. Also congrats to fembots for actually looking like transformers and not designers being nasty

My personal theory as to why Nemesis was soo good and the Ark was so bad is that Megatron himself designed both figures, making sure that the Nemesis was far superior to the Ark. But why would he want to do this? To subtly give us the idea that the decepticon version of something is better than the autobot counterpart, slowly brainwashing the masses into a new Decepticon army (one that Optimus wouldn't dare hurt). But then that could just be my ramblings, of course. I'm not Sherlock Holmes after all.
That's a funny theory at least.

I can confirm.
One thing I like about the Nemesis is that she looks godd*mn feral. Like she is gonna rip an Autobot limb from limb. The fact that she is so gangly, mixed with her claws, and is incredibly posable just gives off the vibe of a berserker charging into battle ready to destroy whatever poor opposition she encounters. Considering how almost all the other titans have the feeling of slow, powerful movements I think it’s fun to have one that looks like she moves fast. Like a dnd Barbarian who maxed out all her physical stats.
Oh yeah she looks absolutely beastly. Like I don't see her having any chill or pacing when it comes to fighting. Just all rage all the time.

She has definitely put it back up there for sure, it was lowering for a while.
I originally was going to pass on this, as I don't have a huge amount of space, but after watching you and Emgo review this, I made space and have it ordered. This is truly a thing of beauty, and I much prefer the monstrous design of the robot mode versus the Ark's default robot guy. This is phenomenal.
I hope you love it half as much as I do.
This beats out the Kingdom Ark by miles, I remember seeing her on the Evolution poster believed that she was an upgraded version of Tarn but that was proved not to be the case. Still a cool looking Titan overall!
I thought it was tarn too, but honestly I think the changes they did to her head are quite cool, and she looks better than the poster suggested.

I'm so hyped for the Decepticon warship turn female Titan, the Nemesis. Love everything about her, except for two things. First, wish the small side wing didn't become axes, as it looks too small for her. Which is a easy fix by not using it as weapons and just leave them on the shoulders. And second, wish the small shoulder side flaps pegged in somewhere instead of hanging off the sides. Sure you can partform them off, but wish it flip up to be alongside the shoulders. But anyways, I love that Hasbro made this Decepticon warship, the Nemesis, and make it transform into a Titan.

I like to think that the red panels at the bottom of the nosecone is a glass floor where megatron can watch chaos unfold after just carpet bombing his enemies from the sky, like some warhammer 40k exterminatus shit
Much like the Ark mine will likely never see robot mode, but that ship mode is just so good. You've even got the screw-holes under her bow that you can stick guns in to resemble the fusion cannon she had in Beast Wars. It's amazing how much mode professional she looks next to the Ark. She looks like a huge solid cohesive chunk of plastic, meanwhile the Ark is covered in gaps, hollow bits and fault lines where his shell parts meet like tectonic plates. I'm much too lazy to work it out, but measuring her compared to the mini F-15 (apparently Thundercracker according to the box art) would be able to give us her exact measurements, so that will be fun if someone gets around to doing it.
Comparing her to the Beast Wars Nemesis from Season 3 (the Season 2 model looked more like this) I see just how many liberties they took translating the G1 design to Beast Wars in the name of cool and I'd totally be up for a Beast Wars themed retool of this, but as it is she's a really impressive ship and despite paying well over $400 NZD for her (the price of importing massive toys in the current economy) I'm more than happy with her for that ship mode alone. She'll probably take the best of 2023 spot even without ever transforming her.

This has been a hell of a last week for me, and positive vibes from PE is exactly what I needed. This made me suddenly and unreasonably happy
This makes the Ark cooler by simply being amazing on its own. I have both, and though the Ark isnt nearly as good as this, having both ships is neat for display.
I don't even mind the appearance of the Ark, but his hands are inexcusably bad.
@@USSMariner Yeah, I think a lot of the Ark's short comings can be attributed to the inclusion of Mainframe, as he's pretty good for a companion Deluxe but that production budget had to come from somewhere.
Of course I was stupid and got Trypticon to be the Nemesis to my Ark, so now my Parity Autism requires I get ANOTHER Autobot Titan.
I'm thinking it will be the Omega Sentinel redeco of Omega Supreme, so I have one Titan "Base-former" and one Titan "Ship-former" for the main factions.

I usually find that Hasbro drops the ball with first titans and gets better from there, Metroplex to Typticon was a massive difference just like Devistator to Predaking so makes sense they messed up on the Ark before Perfecting the Nemesis.
Very cool! I still kinda wish it came with a small transformable figure though, but still good. I wonder if there's anyway to get Legacy Core Shockwave to interact with her. I imagine their colours (purple) are really similar in shade, and they both have similar-ish alt-modes. I guess at minimum Nemesis can still hold Shockwave as a 'kinda-sorta' pistol

I like to headcanon she was made before the war and was a good girl but was sleeping when they converted her one day she wakes up only to relize she’s been converted to the a weapon of mass destruction. The Decepticons then instal and internal inhibtor to enslave her into there ranks

It feels like they were very inspired when it came to the Nemesis, as it just feels like their imagination went wild with the Decepticon ship. While the Ark is the most Ark thing to ever Ark, makes me wonder if the design was made for the toy or the cartoon first...

I did ask some of the hasbro designers on Instagram not long after the reveal about the relation to the Greek goddess nemesis and they said it was just a coincidence that they made this a fembot.
That blows my mind.
this might be my first titan when I get around to this year, I like the color purple and the effort of all the play patterns (A.I.R. lock ramps, gun turrets, blast effect ports and it being able to fold it bottom wing for landing) I honestly left wondering on how Hasbro can even top itself for the next titan

I love this titan so much! Not only did whoosh her around when I got her out of the box, but one of the first pictures I took was her Trypticon and Scorpionock beating up the ark...mostly because I dont have any other autobot titans.

The Nemesis, when standing upright in ship mode, looks like the Combine Citadel from Half Life 2.
Hopefully we can get an upgrade kit that has the tractor beam/garbage disposal grinder thing from Beast Wars. It would make for a sick diorama setup for the Nemesis and Ark!

Unfortunately I don't make enough to buy Titan Class figures myself, but I imagine if I were ever to get my first, the Nemesis would definitely be it. Unless they happen to come along with an Animated Universe Omega Supreme. XD

This might be the most generous I've ever seen you on a review. I would've grabbed one if they had given her a 3rd Space bridge alt-mode. I don't like the bot mode but might eventually grab one for the ship mode if on sale.
A Spacebridge mode would have RULED.

If I had a 3-D printer, I would 3-D print a version of tarn’s mask and if it was some type of genius, I would not only make it to be a mask for her, but also have a peg on it so others can use as a shield speaking of which question is the comments. What’s your personal favorite upgrade kit? Personally, I prefer the galaxy prime upgrade kit where they give him the savage claw mode I always did love the ridiculous lion arm. I think I put it on that new nova prime figure that’s coming out how cool would that work?

In the film, whilst we don't get a good scale comparison, when stratosphere is sitting whilst the crew mourns the loss of Bumblebee in the village, you can see that Prime comes up to his knee in scale, just like other titan classes. I even saw Hasbro mention they'd love to do a titan ROTB Stratosphere in studio series during the recent Q&A.

5:35 me personally I see these as heating vents so the ship can cool it’s insane fuel cells when I imagine they open they make a hissing sound as cold air rushes in to cool the ship’s systems and power core

I feel you on the upgrade kit remark at the end. I like 'em as much as the next guy but, being dead honest, they don't make sense for non-mamalian, and especially robotic, species. They're not just for appeal, they serve an actual purpose and that's why they're there.
This is a surprisingly good titan from reviews and for me I’m working on a legends figure collection so this and the ark will work great. I do wonder if we’ll see a separate deluxe like brunt or Sixgun be released for the nemesis cause while not having one frees up the budget for better titan it is a trend amoung most titans to have a companion, a fun Idea is loadstar and Virgil being a voyager/deluxe companion for the Ark/Nemesis
I so want someone to make an upgrade kit with both Lodestar head and tits just to see Perspective screaming in anguish now.

I really want to get both the Ark and Nemesis as cool centerpieces to a big display. My only problem right now is space. As a minor sharing a room, I'm working with what I got here. I might have to sell off my only titan Scorponok just to fit even one of them into my collection.
This looks fantastic though, I don't know that I can pass this beauty up.

I'm really pleased with Nemesis. She really needs some proper weapons though. The shin guns and flags are weak. Hopefully an upgrade kit will take care of it.
