This is a definite pickup for me. I really like her design, and the fact that she's not hauling around a camper backpack for a change is a major plus.
Yes, that part is impressive, and it's absolutely better than the ERcee. It's just too bad her QC is Borked.
I don't know if its just me, but Arcee's eyes make her face look like an owls face.

Hasbro loves their repaints and is entirely willing to peddle the most obscure, nobody characters to ever get a half dozen frames of screen time or a single comics panel, so maybe they'll do a new-head recolor of this one as Lickety-Split? For slightly more effort, they could add a port on each arm to let the pistols stow there as Lickety's whatever-those-grey-things-are. Her colors would make it look like a Rule 63 Afterburner, but I'm not going to complain about that ;)

I really liked Arcee’s race in the movie because it looked so smooth for the brief moment we saw it. It was like porcelain. Also those eyes are so dead. I hope someone makes a head upgrade kit for this figure that still follows the aesthetic but just with the smooth face. Hell, I’ll paint it myself if I have to. Even the eyes. A nice bright blue for them.

Yeah, that I can say for sure. I'm not insulted by this thing, it STUNTS on the ERcee.
The potential for qc issues scares me but I still think I want to pick this up. This design for Arcee is amazing and it translated well into figure form. Plus there is a void in my collection right now since I’m stuck with Ercee…
According to most people in the comments this figure usually turns out just fine.
I lucked out hard with this one, I got pretty good qc though those tires still don't connect for shit, but I also got it for only $10 at target because it wasn't in the system yet

In short, if it wasn't for the QC, you could say this figure is quite good.
Heck, I have no problem saying (with acception to the Face) this is preaty much my favorite desighn for Arcee.
Besides that, good luck hunting a replacement.

I like her original one. I'm partial to Girl bots getting at least decently sized altmodes. I think it's a bit of a cop out to make them all Cycleformers.

Unsure if I'll pick this up. Hoping the qc isn't a widespread issue, because that'd have to be one of Hasbro's number 1 fuckups if so.
Also loving how there have been more Dr. Lockdown appearances on this channel, as well as Perspective End appearances on his.

This is one of my favorite iterations of Arcee in recent times by far... So bad that it has a plethora of QC issues!

This is my favorite Studio Series deluxe figure, not just because I'm an Arcee fanboy, but the design is so Good and has amazing articulation and has an absolutely badass motorcycle.

I have a similar slight problem with the feet too, it's weird but not too weird. I also find the eyes very weird on the figure and the box art, for some reason it reminds me of baby bird eyes with blue irises. Like a black void with a blue color in the middle. The eyes looked way better in the movie.
I didn't transformed my arcee yet, but damn the back of the alt mode looks like a half ass Transformation. Like they could have done better?
Lastly would you do a review of the Ex 01 Nicee (Firebird arcee) or the den toys Arcee by any chance? 😆 😆 😆

I reviewed the Nicee as one of my first single figure reviews ever.
Something I should have asked in the last video but, what do you think of planet X as a whole. I mainly know them for the figures of F.O.C designs and I loved them. I love them even more because Hasbro's looked like downscaled knockoffs.
Except for the shockwave he was alright.
I've got two of their figures, but I really only like the Deathsaurus at all. Their Aesthetic tends to not really line up with my tastes often.

This is my first Arcee figure and I love it. The backpack isn't 98% of the vehicle mode and it poses good for mainline Arcees go
Yeah that part is cool. Too many girl bots are all backpack.
I had a similar problem with my BB Ratchet. The bicep swivel would not move and popped off with too much force. It magically fixed itself after a day somehow
Interesting. I wish mine did. I destroyed the arm after the video to see if I could get it to spin.
I've gotten her a while back and i must say, i have none of the problems you have with the figure, it's a pity, because i think that the mold really shines when it's not held back by QC issues.
Only criticism i have is that she'd benefit from lightpiping.

this design would be really cool if she didn't have the nightmare face. i really like the bumblebee designs, hell i'd even love them if i didn't hate all of their faces (wheeljack, prime, and shockwave not included).
I mean that's just the movie head's bleading through. I will say these were a step in the right direction, but they need to keep going.
Well, at the very least, now you’ll have a new Arcee for a future what’s the best Arcee. All that will be left to get is the 86 Arcee, and you can see if either the 86 or the BB Arcee can stand against the Thrilling 30 figure.
But onto some pretty great news, have you seen the new images for the TransArt Transmetal Megatron?
My god, he is just beautiful. Especially in dino-mode. He really feels like he jumped off the screen with the work put into this figure. You can just feel the smarmy coming off of that T-Rex head.
While I always thought the Transmetal Optimus Primal was a downgrade to how he first looked (mainly for the robot mode), I found Transmetal Megatron to be an absolute upgrade. Sure I missed him having a T-Rex head for an arm, but man does he cool. That metallic purple and bronze really shine out. His robot chest looked like a prehistoric Punisher skull, and he has a much cooler head design than his season 1 version. To me, Transmetal Megatron was an upgrade to season 1 BW Megatron in the same manner of how Galvatron was an upgrade to G1 Megatron.
If this figure gets away with not only looking fantastic, but also having great QC, not only will it be a chef’s kiss and a half, he’ll probably be better than the Takara season 1 MP BW Megatron.
He already did a What's the Best Arcee.

I don't know that I'd say the TM Megatron is an Upgrade but Optimus is a Downgrade. But I like both versions of Megs.

In altmode or robot mode? Cause because of the way mines arm is stuck the wheel is cocked out to the side, and keeps the whole thing from rolling properly.

Between this and the ss86 arcee idk which is better, i know you have warned about this ones qc but im in way to deep to not at least get both, at this point if a figure looks good (ie ss grindor) it has my interest, but for me, i mainly care about the robot modes, transformation and alt mode is secondsry to me, its a bonus to the robot mode
The only Arcee toy I ever had was the one from Energon. I was quite fond of that one. Good luck getting it to stand up though. It was so top heavy, especially with the cannons.
Looking at pictures, and yeah that thing's feet do not seem stable.
So where would this figure fit on your best of Arcee list?
I mean it's definitely over the ERcee. Though it's kind of hard to rank that because the WTB Arcee didn't have a winner.
Good review, I’m very conflicted on this release. I want to pick her up, but I regret every cybertronian release I get. They look so tempting, but I don’t display live action stuff. They’re like drugs, I can’t resist them. Kinda disappointed about the cancelled week of MMC, was mirage planned for it?

I love how she looks, hopefully I can get my hands on a copy, though I doubt it. The Bumblebee movie figures haven’t released here for some reason, other than Soundwave and the Seekers. I think between this and 86cee, Hasbro has almost redeemed themselves of releasing ERcee…twice…

Idk if this would help but it may be worth dropping some dish soap on the messed up shoulder. Try to wiggle the shoulder to work in the soap. I did this for a figure nortorious for completley immovable ankles and it fixed them so I hope it works for you

Will we be getting a SS86 Arcee video? This one looks very promising, since it is an upgraded T30 with some very nice decos in some areas.

This was probably my most anticipated figure in the bumblebee line. Looks great, try to pick it up.
It was for me too. And then mine was borked beyond belief.
Use dish soup. That will help with overly tight joints. My son had that issue with some of his figures and dish soup helped out greatly.
I can say with Certainty, that it was not an over tight joint, but one that was either fused with glue, or melted plastic I'm not sure which. After this video was over I twisted the arm till the plastic literally heated up and stretched, and the mushroom peg never budged.
it's probably paint stuck, which suuuuucks. the only things you can do when a figure is paint stuck (paint gets into the joint and dries locking up the joint) is a freeze or a boil - either making the paint brittle enough that it breaks when you try to move the joint or soft enough to tear. either way is a gamble.
I've tried Prying it out with a Screwdriver, I think it's a bit worse than that, There's some covers infront of the peg that I think are glued down, so it might be glue...
Oh also, I twisted the arm to see if it snaps off. Good news it's increadibly rubbery plastic it seems. Bad news, the joint is not like twice as long as it was and way thiner.
almost a year later, i just got mine... the same arm is fucked, only mines at an even worse angle

Don't worry, your not alone with the smell issue. The box for my Studio Series Camaro Bumblebee smelled like someone dipped it in perfume when I found it at Walmart, and after further inspection there was a big stain on the box from what I assume was someone's perfume spilling on it. I had to leave the box in my garage for a week to get the smell out, but the figure was fine.
Gross. Why did you even keep the box at that point if it's got a big old stain on it.

It seems like it's probably good, but likely do to mine's defect, I don't feel a strong emotion towards it other than disappointment.

I mean that's what it's saying everywhere, but this just showed up at local targets for me.
Bumblebee Arcee's pretty cool. She looks like she's wearing winged boots, the ear cups look like the typical cool ear cups (ear cups are one of my most favorite robot head features) and the kibble wings look like jet engines. But the face looks like an undead monster and it's a total dealbreaker for me.
The bike mode is awesome, but kinda generic. I feel like I've seen this around a thousand times.
I'd rather buy the ERcee. Cause at least the face appeals to me (I'm a huge fan of the anime art styles with big eyes. Also Arcee's lipstick makes her ugly to me) and the discounts are laughably ridiculous. This thing went to 6 bucks in some stores. How damn pathetic is that. At least Warpath's sold out in most places now, it means that people just don't want to take the risk of potentially getting a Warpath that partsforms or don't care much about him instead of being fully informed that the figure is total crap. ERcee? COMPLETE FAILURE. Tigatron didn't sell so quick because he's kinda awkward despite being far from crap. Kingdom "Rhinox", well, is a cheap ass abomination and it's so inaccurate, it's not Rhinox, it's his son or something. Wheeljack? I know this thing has not so good proportions, but it's OK. Good for the price. Should've been better though. Cyclonus is the best Kingdom figure, his face is a bit long, but this figure is too good to remain on shelves for a year, like how? ERcee outlasted every one of them including "Rhinox".
Glad I started with Kingdom Warpath. Small enough to fit in any bag, big enough to be 5 mm peg compatible, best official figure of Warpath so far. My favorite Transformers character.
Cause with the thunderingly extreme discounts, I almost bought ERcee.
I actually want ERcee. Is 6 bucks a good price? I know the TR Triggerhappy with a reasonable price is around the corner, but I just want ERcee, not as a transforming figure.

The Deluxe scale is definitely a very nice one. It would be cool if 3P legends trended that scale more often.

I'd agree T30, not because this or Cyberverse is bad (I love Cyberverse Arcee, and QC issues on PE's copy aside this one looks good so far) but the extra black deco on T30 and her heavy weapons loadout fits the team thematics better.

This one doesn’t have an oddly human and smooth stomach like thrilling 30. This is my new definitive Arcee.
Though it does have the incredibly smooth everything else. But at least no belly button.

I don't know if I was trying to convince you not to get this, but I don't know what I was trying to say because I don't know how I feel about this.
I don't have the figure yet, but I'm excited for it. I did see the Doctor Lockdown review you referenced and he had the same issues with the wheels not pegging in. I'm hoping I don't have the arm issue you had when I get mine.
This will be my second Arcee after I got the Thrilling 30 one instead of the Earcee. After the bad reviews of that figure, I found T30cee and Chromia at BBTS for $30. I did the math, a bad figure for $20 or two decent figures for $30.
I'm not sure how the upcoming SS Arcee will turn out. I'm not sure they'll make the T30 better (not implying it's perfect, I just don't think they'll improve it. I can see them making some lateral changes, which don't make it better or worse, just different).
I doubt anyone else is going to have my problems.

Being out of collecting at the time, I hear everyone say the plastic was better back then. Maybe overall, but Arcee feels like one wrong move and she'll break. It could be because parts of her, the arms mostly, are super thin.
She doesn't stand all that well, as they went as dainty with her feet as possible.
The look is good, in both modes.
Thank all I watched this video again. My Arcee's right ankle has mold flash and won't hold without the figure atop it.
That said, rewatching this showed the bottom half of the leg could move. A part of the instructions suddenly makes sense, as the joints are just a bit tight so I didn't know it existed until now. Now she can stand.
I actually got this figure and tarantulas arrive yestarday for me so pretty good timing tbh.

You know what I just realized? *Multiple* Bayformer Megatrons also have that camel toe. Goddammit, Bay, I know you want the Autobots to be the bad guys but come on.
And then you watch the most recent video and you realize he's also got a distressing dick.
Core Soundwave had fold away hands. WHY are almost all girl-formers cursed with hands sticking out in alt-node no matter the class? So many deluxe figures need that little fold away joint, or something to cover the hands.
Yeah it's super weird that they can't be bothered to ever make the hands go away.
Thing about liquid faces, is that theyre unnaturally disturbing, even in a universe of alien robots it just wouldn't compute well in the minds of most people watching if it ever goes live action. Im guessing it's avoided in live action movies due to the need for everything to be a little complex which is cool
TF Prime did smooth morphing faces, and the only thing people complained about was not having noses on them./ I don't think it would be a problem, if the art designers could just get off this robo-Giger "everything must be super-gribbly" kick.

@@ilikepigeons6101 The robots would not be any different, though, just rendered with more reflections turned on etc. The bug-faces are more uncanny to me to begin with, anyway.
@@dialNforNinja bug faces? The last 3 (including bumblebee) transformers movies literally had human faces just like the g1 but without the liquid metal look. It's just complex parts blended in together to give you a really good illusion of a flexible face much like our own. You're giving it too much hate
I feel like audiences would be more accepting of it if it were there, because they've accepted it every time before now. Why would this time be different?

@@PerspectiveEnd yeah not only are the limbs fine. I don't have that issue with the wheels not tabbing in properly in vehicle mode, which was surprising because it seems as if every review I saw had that issue
Ya Hasblow QC is really weird I mean on one hand I get real damn lucky with mine like with Blaster, Bulkhead, Brawn, Wheeljack, and Black Zarak. Then sometimes I get either the weirdest or average QC issues for instance my some of my Rachets joints are slightly looser then they should be, but it still stands up so it’s fine, my Perceptor has a gimp thigh so it doesn’t lock into place, but again it stands so it’s fine, then there’s my Legacy Arcee and oh god I don’t know how wide spread this one is but the hinges that hold her top torso are so loose that if I stand her up she looks like she broke her spine.
I don't normally have anything 1/10th this bad.
Hasbro does need to hammer out their QC though cause if they missed this there's no excuse.

How are people getting this?! I’m genuinely VERY confused 😂. Everywhere I look, the figure isn’t in stock until September to October, and yet it seems like EVERYONE has it. Confusion level is extreme lmao.

@@PerspectiveEnd Ah. Reminds me of when I pre-ordered Studio Series Overload from Walmart once. The shipping date kept getting pushed back. It got to the point that it would be 3 months before it would ship. But I literally found one on shelves the very same day. It was a bizarre feeling.
Mine actually did have an immovable arm. Returned it, rather than risked damaging it. Thankfully, though it wasn't in the system, I had no trouble returning it.
I only buy certain movie toys, that are either well done, catch my attention, seem to have interesting engineering, or are favorite characters. I grabbed Arcee, to reward Hasbro for not making her another shellformer & getting her to look right enough, only for my usual, apparently amazing, luck with QC to run out. Better her, than a figure I _really_ want, I guess.
Mine was in the system and I still had no trouble returning it.

This is probably the best arcee since the 30th generation figure granted the face looks off to me at least but if qc isn’t wide spread then this would be a good arcee stand
Probably. Just hard for me to come to a conclusion when it's this badly built on my end.
I am waiting for my pre order to arrive. Oh... The QC issues... Since Hasbro started with factories in Vietnam, with lower quality plastic... All this issues started popping up. I don't blame Vietnam... I blame the choice of using crappy plastic!
Here's the thing. It's not the plastics fault, after the video was over I twisted the arm as hard as I could, and while the mushroom peg never moved. The arm pulled a full 360 because the plastic was good quality and had a pretty extreme degree of rubber bend to it.
The whole thing streatched a bunch, but it did not snap.

I was going to say something about the guns in comparison to the other guns being presented as male-to-female something-something, but I couldn't find the words to describe it.
Someone did just clarify to me that it looks like Docking, and I didn't mean it like that I just thought it was funny they pegged together.
Debating on buying this. One one hand, I could get Thrilling 30's with Chromia on BBTS, but this think honestly looks fun. I feel like between Dr Lockdown and your video, I am seeing the Good and the Bad of this figure and idk if I want to buy it. If I don't get SS86 or T30, Probably will grab this
I also find it funny how Hasbro pushed Arcee as the 'Girl' of the transformers, yet she barely get any toys, and even fewer good ones but now that Windblade seems to be taking her stop as the main girl, she has gotten Way more releases than any other female character as of recently.
I think you could stand to wait for the 86 Figure if you want the Gencee, considering it's basically the same thing with a waist.
Seems like these last few years, hasbro has tried to correct how few figures she's gotten.

I mean me and him do talk from time to time. It's just a little hard to schedule stuff like that, and we I think are both floundering to just keep to our existing Schedules. Like when your videos are already barely getting out on time, it's a bit worrying to try and include a second person into that when that could delay things further.

Trust me, that wasn't going to help, also I already broke the arm after the video trying to get it to turn. Spoiler alert, it didn't turn a micron, it's glued down some how.

I like this figure it's decently fun to pose and FINALLY a Fembot that has a somewhat decent transformation and the engineering of the fig is Pretty decent and it's a pretty good figure

Just got mine yesterday.
One of the best figures I own, the only problems are the ankles and windshield not pegging in, but those are very minor. And one of the tiny wheels doesn't roll on mine, but whatever
Also, you can give her rollerblades by midtransforming her legs, I like it as a nice transition into her "oh god what the f is this RotF version"
I was going to say that all year up until now, because I got distracted in how irritating the ankles are.
You know, at this point I might just get a kingdom Rhinox, as generations Rhinox is like 1 bajillion dollars on eBay, the reissue is gonna take four years to arrive in Australia so I might just yolo. But once the reissue comes out it’s gonna be super worth it. AAAAAAAAAAAAA. I just want a Rhinox to finish my collection man. Also I need a Airazor and Tigatron.
Totally understand why you feel like that. I got lucky and found a Generations one on Ebay at the time for a reasonable price but I bet you wont find them like that any more.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah. I cant buy anything outside Australia as the postage price goes way up, as they would be expecting an order from like their country. So that stinks. And I have to get them off eBay because all my stores near me only have Tracks, PALEOTREX, waspinator and shadow panther. maybe with Cassie’s Toys I’ll have some luck.

Welll wile generations arcee is good and earthrise sucks and studio series is ok titans return arcee onistly is the most visibly interesting and its a decent figure overall and to me it fits a chug aesthetic more then other arcees with how blocky it looks

@@PerspectiveEnd Great news, I finally got it after 7 GODDAMNED MONTHS and my goodness! It lived up to my hype. It looks so good and it's legitimately nice to handle. The conversion process is beyond smooth on my copy of the toy. I finally won the QC lottery, lol.
Judging based on the QC on your figure I don't think I'll ever try finding the figure.
