You don‘t need Paragon Software. I used TransMac Trial and when burning the dmg to the USB Stick the program asked me if I want to enlarge the Volume. I checked the checkbox and it did exactly what you did in Paragon Software :-)
THANK YOU for the great tutorial. The file moving and renaming wasnt mentioned in any other tutorial and was a gamechanger. Everything else ended up crashing during installation progress

With the current version of TransMac resizing does not work for me. I've tried at least 3 USB sticks with different sizes. WIth enabled checkbox the stick was usless after (succesful) restoring of the image. But TransMac can't read anything on the stick. If I do not check the box, stick is readable... but of course to small. :(
yeah the same and glad that I seee these kinda comments as I was thinking wtf this is the same as the Paragon? THX for now, still need to put that into Imac 2011 which was with High Sierra but guy sellling it to me and a friend I was on the phone and mister said that he won't sell withot making his name and ID erase...I said OK thank you for wasting my time bye bye, after which I said I don't care you format or whatever as this was my first apple, and my pride got the best of me as also he was trying to sell it and do nothing...later I said bye bye if we do not agree on the price and, I knew somehow I will atleast install lion which is like nothin, no Safari, tried with certs, cannot open applestore, nothing...I hope this will work for me

I have been working on an A1311 Imac for a lot of days, must have formatted my usb about a 100 times and watched a lot of installation guides that unfortunately didn't work.
I figured out a few thing but I was clueless how to proceed., UNTIL I found your guide, this is awsome, it worked flawlessly.

HDD died on mid 2011 iMac, so disk utility wasn't an option.
I tried multiple USBs, multiple OS(within compatibility), multiple programs, multiple YT videos, multiple times, and even with a "too up to date" apple laptop.
You helped get my 3 week project off my kitchen table.

@@techbytetips Dear Friend, Can you make video on WiFi to be reinstated on MacBook Pro A1502. If you can. At present I am using MacOS Catalina on my A1502 because other OS are not compatible with my WiFi Adapter. An inbuilt WiFi is disappeared. Hardly it works most of the time disappeared.
Hi@@ismailsharif71 ! It’s hard for me to make a video like that since I do not have that specific apple model. However, I have tried Ubuntu on my macbook and everything works flawlessly (Wi-Fi). Have you tried Ubuntu?
@@ismailsharif71 if you have installed an OS that was compatible with your machine, your wifi adapter should work normally, unless the hardware is actually having issues.

Edit: I typed this before when I was still going through the first/middle steps (a lot of which were looked over by other youtubers) so I hadnt typed yet whether it worked or not i.e. I hadn't gotten to the point I got furthest in i.e.x2 the lack of visibility of a bootable drive (unbeknownst to my knowledge, very poorly formatted, that is until wathcing this video)

This works mainly on the old macs. In the video, I'm using a MacBook White mid 2009.
If you have a relatively recent one, they are capable of reinstalling the Operating System from the internet. You just need to have it plugged to a router and follow their instructions for net setup.
@@techbytetips I’m also using an mid 2009 macbook. It gets a problem with a package, idk what’s causing that

@@techbytetips now i was able to install it. It had a problem with the date. I could solve it writing in the terminal “date 0328015315” and it started to install. THANK U AGAIN FOR THE TUTORIAL!
the only solution that works. turns out its easier to install windows on a mac than mac os. thank you for your video

This method works for me on my macbook air 2017 that always get stuck with this weird saying "remaining 2 hours and 19 minutes," which kinda go on forever whenever I tryna install macOS Monterey on it through internet recovery.

Following your instructions, my problem got a little more complicated and hopefully this will help someone else.
Transmac would not let me copy those extra files to the USB drive, it threw an error message everytime.
Fortunately I had another piece of software from failed utube videos trying to do the same as your video, 'HFS+ for Windows'. That has a Use in File Explorer option, that would let me copy the files across to add to the image already there. Next, on the Macbook air 2015 laptop it would not install from this fresh USB creation, error code 8. Certainly some corruption. I had to use Disk Utility from the top menu and run first aid on the sub partitions repetitively until the errors were gone before it would let me then erase the SSD completely. Then add a Macintosh HD partition back, then I could install from the USB drive! Finally now up and running.

Yes you did and really great help where apple support told me that my laptop is vintage product and not much help can be offered by them. Apple Official Service Center refused in the name of parts unavailable, even third party repairing shop also denied. What helped me is you and my will to make my mac working. Having struggled trying to revive a 2010 dead old mac. I had tried every trick on the internet to create a bootable USB on windows. Nothing worked. I stumbled across your video. Very reluctantly i did everything you suggested. Was very pleasantly surprised when i plugged in the USB and powered on the mac and it discovered the bootable. I installed the OS and finally glad that the ordeal is over. I have you to thank for it. Thanks a lot for this wonderful tutorial.

@@fun3721 i use transmac to make the usb bootable but when i press options and turn on mac, the usb icon not showing on screen only icon of a hard drive named mac
@@monssef6072 Format your USB drive and try again. Check if your usb has any partitions. Delete all of them. Clean up the USB completely and then add the files from transmac. Click on "enlarge the volume" as you progress.

I am a Windows guy and was stuck on a MAC restore. Followed the artical and it worked, as before I spent days on following different articals. For unknow reason TransMac extend does no to fix the issue and extending via Paragon works.
tested on ios12 as well. so far it's good to use

I wish I can help you out on this but I have not had that issue. I would say try to first format the drive as FAT32 and then follow the process to see if it is able to recognize it.

hello i tried to follow the step by step guide, but at the time of using the paragon software, the same does not detect the pen drive as in the video, let me explain the pen drive is detected but without any partition as if it is empty, and me still gives it as MBR instead of GPT could you help me ?
