How to create a macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Installer with Windows

- Do you have a Mac that you want to install macOS High Sierra on? Did an operating system update or an update for another program caused the Mac to run incredibly slow? If so, maybe you want to reinstall macOS High Sierra to speed up the computer.
I will show you all the steps to take on your Windows computer in order to format the flash drive, make the flash drive compatible with Mac, and restore the macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Installer onto your flash drive, so that you can install or reinstall macOS High Sierra on your Mac. I will also show you that the installer flash drive will boot your Mac into the installer.

DItto. I also can't thank you enough, sir! I got the "install OS High Sierra.app" file, tried putting the BaseSystem.dmg file in there, blah blah blah, let's just say it failed miserably. Again, AWESOME tutorial.
By far one of the best tutorials I have ever watched. I was tryin for hours to perform the same process without any luck. Come to find out, I was downloading an incorrect file (.dmg) rather than the .iso file that you showed. Followed your process, worked like a charm. Never really been much of a commenter but I got to give you the credit that your due, I have spend 4 entire days dedicated to installing an OS and have had no luck at all, I have watched probably 100s of videos trying to create a install usb using a windows computer because I don’t have or know anybody with another Mac I’ve practically been pulling my hair out trying to get this done and I have finally found a way to do it all thanks to you, thank you

Thanks for the tutorial. I followed your method from A-Z twice but unable to boot from the USB3.0 16Gb thumb drive. I used 3 different ones with same result. Then I watched another tutorial and used diskpart to clean, convert to GPT and set primary the thumb drive. Then I restarted your tutorial with this thumb drive and is a success.

@@IT101 JUAR one problem the pop up for for me to install on hard drive is not appearing. I have reinstalled 8 times different version of the os. It keeps booting from USB. Once l remove usb it does not not boot any solution

This is the best video I've seen on this re-install on an old Apple MacBook, The only thing I have done was rename the ISO. to DMG was using WinRAR rename option and this worked .

Amazing, looked at other tutorials but following this worked flawlessly. My mbp 2010 was only able to load Sierra onto it and was stuck in a bootloop when I tried high sierra.

I have done it all and found this online and wow nice tut my friend thank you .... worked like a charm very simple to use and due. I used two diffrent usb sticks due to one was not doing well as a bootup so check your sticks and process takes long but it is worth it. thanks. already instaled and updated.

Hi, so it worked great and I wanted to make a El Capitan USB following the same procedure but when I do it it takes me to recovery (there’s no os on the iMac anyway) and then when I click download OSX and continue it says something about it being tampered with. Do you know why?
