Quilting - just wavy lines from top to bottom. Binding - chocolate 😍

Hi Katrina. Since your blocks have straight lines but lots of movement, I like the idea of gentle swirls to quilt it with. I would add a medium blue binding and perhaps the largest motif floral for the backing. Whatever you decide it will be wonderful, as all your quilts are. Thanks for another fun video.

What a great pattern. Like you said, very freeing.
I think swirls would be a great compliment to the straight lines.
As for the binding, I think use the same caramel color.
I cannot wait to make one.

Very pretty quilt. Minus the flower material like maybe some plaid would be a perfect quilt for a man. I'd like to make one for myself. Thanks for a beautiful pattern. I made one similar to this but different candy material and in the center I drew some candies and then wrote around the top and bottom saying...life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your going to get. Has a chocolate brown border and back. It has a pink border bcuz a lot of the fabrics had pink in them. I am really proud at how it turned out.😊

What an amazing quilt Katrina. Personally, I would add a blue border and a swirly but not too fussy quilting design and I agree with an earlier comment that it does remind you of an old fashioned quilt made out of scraps of clothing. I would probably hand quilt it.

I would use a blu for binding and some sort of curvy motif E2E for the quilting. I’m like you I did a slash quilt and just did not care for it and put the blocks away. I just recently pulled them out of my WIP pile and laid it out and sewed it up. Absolutely love it now!

I think the binding should be in the chocolate color and it would pop the other colors. I love the simplicity of this pattern. There's a lot you can do with it... Thanks for sharing it with us. Also a larger stippling would break up all the lines and I'd use a variegated brown thread

Great way to make a "no brainer" quilt! Brown is the perfect binding as will pull out the fillet color. Quilting. It's a quick quilt, keep it so by stitching in the ditch.
Notes from my sweat shop. For production sewing/pressing, conduct first pass of sewing, stagger the edges on your ironing board and set them with one press. Second pass of sewing (for other side), do same. Then open up and press seam individually,

I would bind to match the border. It gives my eye a place to rest and contains the mix. Quilting pattern should be soft with medium curves, but not a tight floral. However there's a lot of options depending on the actual patterns in the fabric mix. I once did something similar with bright juvenile Halloween blocks on a smaller scale. It was like containing a riot on my wall.
