Di, the rectangular blocks add lots of visual interest (over ganged up squares), and super precious fabric. This type of pattern also works well with a featured fabric with a neutral as alternating blocks.

Use a hand held, or free standing, magnifying glass. I have one that hangs from my neck (so I can use both hands). Your quilt is beautiful. The baby and parents are going to love that quilt.

You did it again! What an idea. I am a cat lover and probably have a half a dozen layer cakes with cats on them. What a great way to get them moving of the shelf and into quilts. This was a great quilt pattern if you need a last minute gift. The Engineer had me in stitches as usual. I watched one of your earlier videos with the light. I ordered it then.
