It weighs less than a 911 Carrera and has gobs more power!! 3200 and 825HP which is to the wheels I think.
When you can shred street bikes while in A/C and sandals, you're doing alright.
You can't say "liter bikes" and generalize them anymore. Those were old bikes (and 2 of the slowest liter bikes). Pre '15 R1 and older cbr 1000. New liter bikes is a whole different game now. Those 2 are pushing around 150 WHP, new 1000s are pushing around 200 WHP. Would be a different story if he raced a zx10 , s1000rr or 17+ gsxr 1000.. still very impressive for sure but trust me for the people who don't know about bikes! Not all "liter bikes" are super fast.
Chrdy303 yea. 300whp h2 smoked a 1000whp c7 vette. My dad has a turbocharged 2003 gsxr 1000 making 200whp on 6 pounds of boost and I think a stock newer bike could take the guys car on but I’m a viper fanboy so I’d take it any day
@@jadelees9005 a newer 1000 would beat it 100%. 1000hp will still lose to a 200whp bike. I can show some videos of my 18 gsxr1000 beating an 1100 hp TT mustang 🤙🤙. It is a dope ass viper for sure tho! Love that car!

My guess would be no auto and no convertible and hand built so its hard to make high volume
Viper hasn't had much face lift that could be a possibility. By no means it is bad. It is still a unicorn of a car. You can see the other muscle cars with major face lifts. Dodge could be working on a crazy facelift only time will tell I mean the ACR has updated aero.
I don’t know of every reason, but, I will say this..... A lot of people can’t physically fit inside of it. It’s not a car built for ALL body types like the corvette.
And plus, it was never meant to be a high volume car.
All motor Viper will always be the best sounding engine ever.
For me LFA V10 has better sound :-D
@@code6400 To be honest, I like V10 engine than a V8 or a V12. For both the sound and the torque they make.
Red Spear tbh the v10 can sound like both it’s crazy those low speed sounds like a v8 and then higher revs it sound almost like a v12

Really considering a gen 3 viper as my weekend car. Something about the sound of that v10 is just so special. You will probably never see a car like it again.

Do it, you won't regret it. I have a Gen 3 (06 coupe) with mild bolt ons and exhaust for my weekend toy. It is stupid fun and still feels like a dream 5 years later. Plus, because Gen 3s are the least desirable, you can get a screaming deal on them. I paid less than 50 for mine with only 11k on the clock. Plus insurance was actually less than the Mustang I sold to buy the Viper.
You won't see anything like it again. Our fuel economy standards won't allow it.

The Viper: the car that got me into cars as a kid back in '94. Truly don't disappoint (aside from their unceremonious discontinuation) even now. So glad to see even now that they're being made into high HP kings of the road

Nothing quite like the smell of fuel in the morning from running no cats! Lol I recently threw some catless midpipes on my Hellcat, so now I’m running no mufflers and no cats. Thing sounds absolutely INSANE! Viper is definitely my dream car.
