born in 72 a multiracial man I am proud to say I lived during the time of Frank Sinatra. He was considered by many to be the greatest entertainer on earth of that century. This song brings tears to my eyes now that I have grown up.....beautiful.

Sinatra was famous for his phrasing when he sang. You can understand every word he sings.

Ol' blue eyes was a very huge teen idol in the 1930s and 1940s. The girls were screaming and fainting when he was preforming.

I've got several of his CDs and this is one of my favorites. I love your sense of being swept into the lush sound of Nelson Riddle's arrangement.

As an only child ,Frank Sinatra`s mother was supportive of his wish to become a singer. Right at the beginning he paid for singing lessons and ,amongst other things ,learnt the breath control in singing that he used throughout his career .This is how he is able to lengthen the phrasing and use different timing to other popular singers .
And ,of course ,an excellent serious film actor.

Frank Sinatra is a legend with a lot of really good songs. "That's Life", "My Way", "Fly Me To The Moon". I could go on but I'd be here all night. 😅 He was part of a group called The Rat Pack with Sammy Davis, Jr, Dean Martin and Joey Bishop.

To my mind, one of the best songs Sinatra ever did (and he did plenty). I was in fifth grade when the recording came out. You asked for suggestions on what to react to. I think you ought to check out Joni Mitchell's "Urge For Going" on You Tube. She performed the song (she wrote) in front of a live audience, 1966, on a Canadien TV program when she was still 22, three years before she got her first record deal. Check out the impression she made on the other performers with her. While Sinatra made this recording with a lush orchestra, Mitchell's performance is solo.

Why would a song get blocked? Ask yourself that question. While you're thinking it over I will try and answer that question. Every time I listen to the songs on the popular radio stations. All the songs sound the same. And the lyrics are consistently about five things:
1). S*x, s*x and more s*x. And the theme to these songs it isn't just about the s*x. It seams that the common theme is about denigrating women as much as possible. And, as a man, it is extremely offensive. And the majority of the public doesn't want to hear it.
    2). M O N E Y.
    3). Violence.
    4). Auto-tune everything.
5). Just a beat with no real instruments.
When you put all of that poison in a pot and then serve it. You end up with nothing other than lyrics that don't make no sense. And extremely offensive music.
