This is one of those songs that becomes more meaningful as you get older.
Of course. That’s what it is for ❤️
@@gaetanodragonetti3942 definitely. It's so bittersweet
Fact!👌🏴
Thank you for playing Sinatra and this song. You're a lovely young lady. This song covers life's stages in such a way it makes these 67 year old eyes shed a tear.
born in 72 a multiracial man I am proud to say I lived during the time of Frank Sinatra. He was considered by many to be the greatest entertainer on earth of that century. This song brings tears to my eyes now that I have grown up.....beautiful.
Sinatra was famous for his phrasing when he sang. You can understand every word he sings.
Summer Wind is another great Frank Sinatra tune.
It's wonderful to.see a young beautiful woman react to a beautiful song we don't hear anymore!
Back from when popular music aspired to be elegant.
And classy.
Way to go girl...You did a great job reacting to "Ole Blue Eyes," "The Chairman of The Board" & "Mr. Rat-Pack" himself: Frank Sinatra!!!
there's something about this song dont know excaly what but i find it beautiful
fryskomuttens, could be the timing and the way he is able to lengthen out the phrases ,so that you hear every word
Ol' blue eyes was a very huge teen idol in the 1930s and 1940s. The girls were screaming and fainting when he was preforming.
Just reading a book about him and Ava Gardner. His big moment came at the Paramount Theater in 1941!
I've got several of his CDs and this is one of my favorites. I love your sense of being swept into the lush sound of Nelson Riddle's arrangement.
Gordon Jenkins arranger - not Nelson Riddle!
Ol' Blue Eyes is back ! Always loved this song and you summed up Frank's delivery perfectly, Thanks!
Great review. To listen to Frank is to be a romantic. Love the orchestra too.
Check out "One For My Baby". It's pretty much a given that Frank is gonna nail it, but the man nails it.
Some songwriter has been living my life.
What a VOICE!… truly an amazing entertainer. WOW 🤩
Just simply beautiful, just thankful for the life you live.
Beautiful song. Beautiful reaction.
What an era for music - what a time to be alive.
One of my favorite all time favorites. Listen to lyrics. He did summary of his life from 17 to over 35. So ooo good. I listened to this when I was 17 believe it not.
This is my favorite Sinatra song!
Love your reaction!! You have the sweetest smile..As Van Morrison wrote, "Sinatra sings against Nelson Riddle strings".
As a HUGE Sinatra fan, there is a song called Angel Eyes that I have heard 388 million times and it is still emotional. Highly recommend.
awesome reaction. more folk should react to more old old school stuff like this. Sinatra, D-Martin, S-Davis-Jr... great music
amazing voice! great reaction
What a wonderful response. You helped me understand Sinatra better.
This song can only be truly appeached by a man who has grown older and reflects on his life. Almost any man who survived to true maturity can relate to.
Without a doubt my favorite Sinatra track, closely followed by I Get A Kick Out Of You, Moon River and Bad, Bad Leroy Brown🙂
Classic
This was in the season 2 opener of the sopranos
As an only child ,Frank Sinatra`s mother was supportive of his wish to become a singer. Right at the beginning he paid for singing lessons and ,amongst other things ,learnt the breath control in singing that he used throughout his career .This is how he is able to lengthen the phrasing and use different timing to other popular singers .
And ,of course ,an excellent serious film actor.
I just found you! I loved your reaction ❤️
Beautiful Song Frank Baby !
You are an intelligent beautiful woman with a beautiful reaction!
I love this song ! It's one if Frank's best. Suave vocal delivery. You should do one by Scott walker, and his earlier work.
One of Sinatra's nick-names was "Old Blue Eyes" the other was "Chairman of the Board."
A really dreamy, sad song.
Swann lake is beautiful. Sleeping beauty is great also Tchaikovsky is magic he has a lot of great work
His work is indeed magical!
@@TheAdventuresofTNT agreed
Oooowww!! Reaction to Francis Albert Sinatra? I'm in. 😎🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Listening to your comments you probably would like Johnny Mathis. Try Chances Are to start.
It's called Easy Listening for a reason.
"I'm A Fool to Love You" is a great Sinatra song, so are "All The Way" and "Something Stupid" a duet he did with his daughter, Nancy
You're Sinatra reactions are the Sweetest / Hottest reactions on RUclips.
Frank Sinatra is a legend with a lot of really good songs. "That's Life", "My Way", "Fly Me To The Moon". I could go on but I'd be here all night. 😅 He was part of a group called The Rat Pack with Sammy Davis, Jr, Dean Martin and Joey Bishop.
Most ppl know all of that.
@@trawlins396 whatever
@@frankrappa4765ijs 🤷♀️. you're assuming she knew nothing about him. You shouldn't assume.
To my mind, one of the best songs Sinatra ever did (and he did plenty). I was in fifth grade when the recording came out. You asked for suggestions on what to react to. I think you ought to check out Joni Mitchell's "Urge For Going" on You Tube. She performed the song (she wrote) in front of a live audience, 1966, on a Canadien TV program when she was still 22, three years before she got her first record deal. Check out the impression she made on the other performers with her. While Sinatra made this recording with a lush orchestra, Mitchell's performance is solo.
Great arrangement/Ochestra!
The original version by the Kington trio is worth a listen too
My Way is fantastic!
More Sinatra definitely. Check out songs like That’s Life, The Nearness of You, I Fall In Love Too Easily & a couple thousand more. 🙂
🐇🐰🐇🐰🐇🐰🐇🐰🐇🐰Fraaaankiiiiiii ‼️‼️🤣🤣
Hard to better than those violins!
its was a very good beer...i mean year
😀😀🤗
This is the only Sinatra song that I like... but it is a great GREAT song.
"When Sinatra dies, they're going to leave his zipper with the Smithsonian Institution." - Dean Martin
More Sinatra!
And he was a couple months short of his 50th birthday when he recorded this.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You should hear Dwight Schultz do this song as Murdock in the A-Team! :)
I dig
It's so nice to see somebody younger review the song. It's such a beautiful song. Also the remake with Ray Charles and Willie Nelson is just as nice. Maybe even a little better 🤷♀️. Its not possible for you to really understand this song until after 45-50.
Notice how all his deepest recollections center around the women he has loved. How could you improve on that?
👍🏻
Sopranos
I always felt like Elvis had the greatest voice, but Frank was the greatest singer.
I was the 69th like on this video. Just sayin'.
Gordon Jenkins was the greatest arranger,Frank Sinatra the greatest singer.
Why would a song get blocked? Ask yourself that question. While you're thinking it over I will try and answer that question. Every time I listen to the songs on the popular radio stations. All the songs sound the same. And the lyrics are consistently about five things:
1). S*x, s*x and more s*x. And the theme to these songs it isn't just about the s*x. It seams that the common theme is about denigrating women as much as possible. And, as a man, it is extremely offensive. And the majority of the public doesn't want to hear it.
2). M O N E Y.
3). Violence.
4). Auto-tune everything.
5). Just a beat with no real instruments.
When you put all of that poison in a pot and then serve it. You end up with nothing other than lyrics that don't make no sense. And extremely offensive music.
Sad
Frank a makes me sack
