Over the years, I've kept reading and hearing that this song is his life story. But Frank isn't singing about Hoboken, his career, his upbringing, his wives, his friends, his children. He's singing about a few random women he shagged when he was different ages. Can I possibly be the only one to think this?
You're incredibly diverse. It's very rare to find a You Tube reactor covering different musical genres. I also like how this delves into Sinatra's creative recording process. A technical aspect to it.
Lovely reaction to this beautiful song. I enjoyed seeing Sinatra's own reaction listening to the playback. Even he seems to be amazed and entranced. It's almost like he's thinking "Man, this guy can really sing" Keep up the good work Miss Africa
Graham Nash of the group Crosby, Stills and Nash, said in an interview, that he went into rock and roll music to be the opposite of Frank Sinatra's music. But, he said, years later, he watched a film on television about how Sinatra recorded an album. Nash said he gained such incredible respect for Sinatra because he was an absolute perfectionist as a singer and musician.
Beautiful in every way.
The man in this song looks back at his life with much fondness.

@@akrenwinkle I must have misunderstood it.
@@waynejohanson1083 Are you a little curious what I meant? If you are, I'll tell you. If you're not, I'll stop here.
A great voice matched with great songwriters

One of my all time favorites. It is very reflective and by the end of the song, he has wonderful memories of his life.
