HIT THE BELL & TELL A FRIEND ABOUT ME.
Ahhh Frank. He was such a cool cat. Every time I hear his songs, I want to make a martini and put on a fedora hat. He is really one of the best voices you'll ever hear.
He is "The Chairman of the Board" and Dean Martin is"The King of Cool".
Absolutely 💯!!!
Sinatra had such impeccable timing. Listen to Summer Wind if you get a chance. Thank you for doing this song
I grew up on Frank Sinatra in Chicago being raised by Italians. I LOVE his music
People these days keep calling themselves 'Gangstas', 'Bangers', 'Pimps', 'O.G.s' and whatnot, but Sinatra & Martin come from a time when La Costa Nostra (Italian Mafia) ran cities like New York, Vegas & Chicago and 'gangsters' were the real deal.
What is an O.G.?
@@maryhynes9061 short for 'original gangster', if memory serves.
The GREATEST song of his "I did it my way" You should do this
Agreed. A must!
Exactly
What they said ^^^. One of my top 10 favorite songs of an genre all time.
Except that Frank didn’t like My Way. He did like this one though. This is my fav FS song.
This is my...let's say memorial song"... my daughter already knows.
"Ole Blue Eyes". GOAT. He stepped down very graciously when Elvis arrived. Class act!!! Try SUMMER WIND, FLY ME TO THE MOON, NEW YORK, NEW YORK. He had tons of hits. I have an autographed picture of him personally signed to my Dad which my Dad handed down to me. Loved him.
Now ur talkin van love this song and Frank Sinatra og on a real note can't believe u haven't herd some of the music choices uv retracted to keep it up bro
Hit up the Rat Pack. All smooooth as can be. Some Frank, Sammy and Dean always in a suit. Also... PLEASE... Tony Bennett. This dude is butter...
Love Frank.. he is so smooth and didn't take crap from anyone.
The Rat Pack. Frank Sinatra Dean Martin Sammy Davis jr. Where the main members and they ruled Las Vegas back in day
I loved the movie that portrait their story.
number 1 in the vocals , tnks from brazil
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard ibn my personal opinion. I was first introduced to it actually from an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and ever since I've heard this wonderful masterpiece it has been a favorite of mine
Try New York New York; It Was a Very Good Year; Fly Me to the Moon; My Way; In the Wee Small Hours; and The Lady Is a Tramp. Then go from there! He has a massive song list.
I love hearing NY NY every time I come back to NY through JFK, even though I've lived here in NY only for 8 years..lol
Frank Sinatra is The Man ! And you're absolutely right : ALL the Ladies Loved them some Frankie 💗
Frank Sinatra was a great singer and a wonderful person ; look into the marvelous friendship between him and Sammy Davis Jr - They were TRULY brothers from different mothers
Congratulations my friend! Finally someone reacting to Frank.....💕
Nice work sir.
I'm 62 and appreciate this music more now. It's not my genre, but yes whenever I think of swag it's definitely old blue eyes that pops into my head
Frank Sinatra
Dean Martin
Sammy Davis Jr
Tony Bennet
Live performances are phenomenal
And Tony Bennett is still going!
Bro Don Rickles is a beasT
I'm Drummin Along !
Fun fact. He demanded to do every recording straight up live. Pure talent!
Frank was the original teen heartthrob. Girls had never rioted for a popstar before. In the early 40s, Sinatra played the Paramount in New York. Girls lined up around the block. He would sing from 8am until 230am the next day. One day when girls outside couldn’t get in to see him they started rioting. Cops had to be called in. It was the first time girls had ever acted that way for a celebrity. Psychologists were asked to analyze the Sinatra phenomenon, to figure out what was going on with America’s young women. Legend
Van, You have come along way from Aug 16 2020. Love you man!
It's the Arrangement, man. This. One. Just. Swings !!!
👍🏻🙌🏻😂🍸 I love Frank & you just nailed it with this & made me laugh...
Nelson Riddle wrote the chart. The musicians playing for him were the best. He based his style on African American jazz vocalists...like Billie Holiday who he loved.
His voice was his instrument.
Yeah..... I love Sinatra BUT the real soulful and funny one in their click cAlled "THE RATPACK", and the true and real man with all the "swag" is none other than the exquisite voice himself..... DEAN MARTIN
Would love to see you and the whole LFR FAMILY dive down that rabbit hole!!
Believe me..... You won't be disappointed at all!!
I couldn’t agree more!
My husband sent this song to me when we were dating. He won my heart and we are happily married now.
He was a true singer before the days of tuning
And he was so sexy
Love this and had to listen again.
Jajajaj muu gracioso!! Genial mi negro !! 😍
Great 👍Both of you.Very well done.Thank you.Nadja from Mexico.🦄
Gonna be so good! A Musician discovering! A must, Frank’s best: My Way!
Frank, Dean etc were all legends
Best of the best!
Singing in the Rain Is a song by Gene Kelly in the movie Singing in the Rain. Which he starred in.
Oh boy, this is the best public relations PSA for The Chairman I have ever seen! Marone....
Ohh that’s a smooth Bourbon.. I love it..not bitter
👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏 Bravo!
Nelson Riddle Orchestra, lyrics by Cole Porter.
It sounds like Maker’s Mark is making it’s mark under your skin.
love me some Frank Sinatra...reminds me of NYC every time though
Frank Sinatra - New York 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You have a great voice brah
I think this was the Nelson Riddle orchestra backing him.
Don rickles was dancing because he was making fun of gene kelly in singing in the rain. Good morning is a great scene with singing and dancing from that movie also. It has debbie Reynolds, princess leia's mom and grandmother to billy lorde the actress from American horror story
Singin not Singing
Dean Martin should be next! "That's Amore" would be a good choice.
React to Dean Martin’s Arriverderci Roma it’s very smooth and a wonderful love song.
Listen to it loud with the woofer in the car. I used to. Fly me to the moon is good for that.
I love Sinatra but I'm in...I've subscribed. Sinatra is timeless.
I think it was this song (possibly a different Sinatra classic though)...where they recorded it live off the floor as usual in those days, in a large studio, and at the end of the take, the entire band rose up and gave him a standing ovation. Sinatra was so overcome by the gesture he actually fled the studio to compose himself.
Frank Sinatra, member of the Rat Pack. A.K.A.The Chairman of the Board.
this n* smooth
You really need to check these guys out
Glad you’re listening to Frank. No bigger name in American pop culture history. Check out “My Way” (his most iconic), Fly Me To The Moon” (smooth), “Theme From New York, New York” (classic, jazzy) and “Old Man River” (powerful)
Okay, We are going back to an era long-since deliberately-destroyed, BUT: Can you IMAGINE the pressure on EVERYONE INVOLVED to get this right for everyone involved, LIVE every time? MAGIC lost but recorded.
Ol' Blue Eyes he was called. He's a true Jersey boy, from Hoboken iirc. His biggest hit was My Way.
Frank started as a "band singer" with Tommy Dorsey in the 1940s, went through different styles until he hung it up. His voice became deeper of a different meaning 10-20 years after he sang this version.
Watch him and Deano live dueting!!!!
MY WAY
React to Sinatras Fly me to the Moon or Thats life.
Quincy Jones was one of his favorite conductors.
You want to see Frank looking real smooth, check out Frank Sinatra - That's Life | Sinatra A Man And His Music
I reached into the tree of life and picked me a plum. How cool is that line? Check out The Best is Yet to Come. Every lyric is cold. just written in a nice way.
Sinatra had perfect pitch-if one of those backing band members, at any time, hit one too sharp or flat, or missed it-they were as old as yesterday's news.
Frank Sinatra...Ol' Blue Eyes...yeah Don Rickles is the comedian.
Lmao my man said he said gimme my check 😂😂😂 great reaction bro...new subscriber over here
Hi son was in the series The Sopranos
Luv the LFR.... don't know where you are going with this old school... but since you are on this ride... try out R. L. Burnside "Someday baby". You won't be disappointed, and most of your fans have know idea. Enjoy 😉.. you can thank me later.
P.S. .... just a follow up. I came across this guy because of a band in 1998. John Spencer and the Blues Explosion... however this song, someday baby, came out later. If you have never heard of John Spencer ... it's OK.... i was late too. In 1998 I bought Acme ... it was like their 5th or 6th album, but hey... better late than never. Enjoy 😉
His classic NEW YORK. NEW YORK and Liza Minnelli covers IT
The Count Basie Band.
Before the arrival of rock, this was the sound to aspire to.
Check him out live you won’t regret it
I see you react to some primus the hardest song primus has is "too many puppies" 🔥🔥🔥
I love Frank Sinatra ❤️ Your condom comment had me rolling 😂 because it is rumored that Mia Farrow's (a former girlfriend) son Ronan Farrow is actually Frank's son 😂😂😂
He was actually married to Mia for several years. They remained "close" throughout Frank's life. Ronan looks SO much like Frank and nothing like Woody.
Count Basie and Duke Ellington are the best bands he worked with.
Bringing some class to you tube, good job maybe try some Dean Martin
I like your video
You got the vocal swag right.
Listen to AJ Lambert and Michael Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra...Nat King Cole. Familia.😮
Frank refused to work anywhere that wouldn't allow Sammy to enter through the front door. Here's the Rat Pack doing a comedy routine with Johnny Carson hosting and Quincy Jones (produced MJ, The Wiz, Fresh Prince, and more) leading the band:

Thanks for a enjoyable review
...watching someone hear a great song for the first time is good fun :)
FYI, his live version from Madison Square Garden "The Main Event" blows the studio version away
Check out the Lady is a Tramp, I Get A Kick Out of You, My Way, and My Kind of Town from the same live album.
...to be fair, his versions of Bad, Bad Leroy Brown, and You Are The Sunshine of My life...are duds
Frank Sinatra " I won't Dance"
Van, this song reminded me of growing up without TV, where I listened to a lot of radio, and would even walk to the library to rent records. I discovered and fell in love with Big Band music. The Glenn Miller Orchestra to be specific. I know you would love some of it. It’s funny how times change. Big Band, Sinatra, and all the other greats are what our grandparents got wild to, while their parents thought it was sending their kids straight to hell. You will dig this, if nothing else, for the drums. But the whole (digitally remastered) album is great. ruclips.net/video/obhtatr0uHQ/видео.html.
You need to get on some Dean Martin shit. Frank might’ve been the better musician but Dean was who Frank wanted to be.
Also would love to see some more reactions to the Dean Martin roasts!
React to "Frank Sinatra - Summer Wind"
Makers is smooth
When you’re watching Frank you need to drink Jack. He called it “the nectar of the gods” and is even buried with a bottle of it
Arranged and played by the legendary Nelson Riddle Orchestra.
How about that killer LIVE orchestra?
Frankie bigger than the Prez back then It took a special guy to make fun of "Ole Blue Eyes" in those days. Only Rickles was that guy. Anyone else, watch"Goodfellas"
If you like Sinatra, you’ll like Michael Bublé- he does some Sinatra songs, come fly with me and I’ve got you under my skin
Mack the knife is also great
Quincy Jones did the arrangements
Take a look at Fonan Farrow, Mia Farrow's son. She doesn't deny that Frank might be the father. He surely isn't Woody Allen's son. The resemblance to Frank is uncanny.
Yo: This was written by the great Cole Porter-perhaps not the greatest pop song writer, but I am telling you bro-this song was written in the 1930s, done again by the Four Seasons (great), but no one, no one can sing this like the Chairman-'nuff said!
Your voice sounds good if you wanted to you could sing like Frank.
Best nigga singer and white ...its all about soul....fact frank paid for his mates funeral xxx
