Per usual, his line of questioning was all characterization and accusation based on a context-free analysis of a complicated case. Also per usual, Kennedy closed off all avenues for the nominee to challenge his assertions on the grounds that he already knew the answer. None of you knows anything about the substance of his accusations because there is none.

I don't understand why there is such a problem with voter ID. I am 79 years old and I have to present ID to purchase alcohol, tobacco or a lottery ticket. They can see that I am over the legal age to purchase these but still have to present ID.
