I used red heart supersaver ombre yarn, but any 4 weight yarn will work. A nice 4 weight wool yarn would make a nice warm beanie for those cold days and nights. A Russian lady had a beret hat online here tutorial back in 2014. She spoke in Russian... translation english subtitles came thru - hard to understand. I watched her hands and did get the sutch. Lost her video. But here finally I found the stutch. This is a zig zag puff stutch that is beautiful. So glad I found it. It being done in the round was hard to find as it didn't specify the zig zag thingy. Either way. It is beautiful stitch and the Ombre cocoa is outstanding. Thanks to this lady who also has a scarf to go with it. KUDOS.
Hi Crystal, I know you apologize each time your clock chimes when you are on camera but you really don't need to do that...I love hearing the clock chime as well as your kids running around upstairs or when your fur babies join the video...makes it all so warming!!! I normally don't wear hats, Crystal, because I look like a dork in them and it wreaks havoc on my short baby fine hair because of massive static. We're talking hair sticking straight out on my entire head. But this pattern is so awesome that I'm going to have to give it a try. I(f I still look like a dork, I'll just have to give it to a friend that looks good in hats.) Can't wait to watch the scarf tutorial. Blessings!
