Glad I found this helpful video. This look didn’t make sense to me until I got the sickest I’ve ever been in life and dealt with lots of nasal drainage. As small as they are, the hairs that grow in to your nose from the mustache area can cause a lot of redness, irritation and of course the dreaded booger catching. To be clear I’m not referring to your nose hairs. As far as I’m concerned you can wax those until the cows come home. If you’re blowing your nose you will still have problems keeping the gunk under control. Anyway I was rubbing my nose raw with facial tissue. One day I decided to trim it like this man did his and virtually all the irritation went away. It was so much easier to blow my nose. Eventually all the cold meds and antibiotics I was on kicked in and I gradually got better. But I stuck with the style. So to bring my point home, don’t judge this style because you don’t like it. Everything can’t be for everyone. The look works for some ppl and (as I found out) actually has a practical purpose. It may not be natural or rugged enough for you. The only thing I’d say to that is I cannot picture any of you out in the woods living off the land while watching grooming videos on RUclips. So keep those relative terms in perspective here

If you follow his instructions you are gonna get alot of shit for how your mustache looks.. and btw that's not a real mustache. . . That is stuble, when that grows out if he wants one, he have to shave the upper part like once a day-two days.. because its growing over where he shaved, unpractical and not a very good look imo

Glide or trace the mustache works better with a magnafied mirror that way you can see how the hair follicles line up and of course you have to have rite length of facial hair for the desired affect

This seems like it would be a pain to maintain. I just tap the top on each side lightly to get rid of the stragglers and leave the hair connecting to the nose.
That shit ended up whoop sided lol. And it does not look good on him at all. Especially not for his face or head shape. No one ever told him though 🤦♂️

I've been wondering, can the razor do damage to the edges of your lip by using the technique in the video?
I know this is a year old but it may help others. If your blades are getting older it may cut your lip a little bit but it doesn't do too much damage.
