I’m growing out my facial hair for the first time and this helped me so much. My mustache was always getting in the way when I would eat but now it’s perfect thank you so much sir
Nice, after hitting my 30’s I started growing a beard and have often sought out detailed tips in grooming. This is by far the most clear and helpful I’ve seen on this subject. Thanks a lot!
i know im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
I love the nuance with which you're giving the information you are. The thought process behind what you're doing is so valuable and it is very appreciated. Will most definitely be checking out your other videos.
You've helped me a lot and prevented me from making major mistakes with trimming my beard. My beard is patchier than yours but overall the natural lines are similar and you're video how to trim a V shaped beard was a God send. Thanks man! I may grow it longer now just to see what happens
THANK YOU!!! It was the trimming downward and the smile to get along the lip line that I've been doing all wrong. I usually just shave the stache off when I get aggravated with trying to trim it and I was getting ready to shave it off tomorrow morning when this video came suggested to me. I did buy a new norelco trimmer from amazon last week so maybe that is how this got in my feed. Thanks again for taking the time to post this video. Cheers!
For the past 20 years I have been clean shaved. After watching your tutorial I took a decision of trying at least moustache, if not full grown beard. I really loved all your tips, and found very useful. Now I will continue moustache rest of my life . Thank you so much Greg for sharing wonderful knowledge. God bless you!
Greg - you’re an absolute legend! I’ve grown my beard for the past 3 months based on your instructions. Definitely the best guides out there. Many thanks and keep up the good work. Sending best wishes from U.K. South Wales 🏴
Thank you so much for this video. I trim my husband's moustache and beard, and I couldn't figure out how to get the moustache to look good. This video helped me quite a bit. I never thought about getting my husband to smile so I could get the right angle. The way you did your moustache is exactly the way I want his to look. I'll try it and let you know how it worked. :-)
First time beard grower and first time I ever had to trim my mustache. I did it basically the same way! I came here to see the best way to trim a mustache. I appreciate the content! Liked and subscribed!
I didn't realise many other people have this routine when trimming their moustaches, I've been doing this for about 2 years now and it's much better than getting food in your tache or having a more potent smell after eating dairy.
Just wanted to thank you for this. While my brother is a mix of Grizzly Adams and ZZ Top, I’ve never grown facial hair until quarantine! Yes, I’m 55 and was clueless. Had bought a trimmer, but want sure exactly how to do it. This video really helped me out.
I just tried it out and it worked beautifully! Having said that, I did leave my moustache slightly longer; my beard is a bit longer than yours, and taking my moustache up to the lip line makes it look a bit too thin compared to my beard. Anyway, thanks for the video, Greg!
I can't believe I happened across a video of someone using the same beard trimmer that I actually have. I have had this thing for many years without having to replace it. The blades have never dulled, and it cleans with a rinse of water. I love head shaving, beard grooming, and beard growing tips. Videos like this are fun to watch.
My beard looks a lot like yours. How long should I trim the corners of the mustache? Should they be short, or rather should they be left to grow down into the beard?
any advice on how to trim my moustache for a wider look on my lips? I did it a few times but it was just out of luck. I have decently big lips so its not like theyre small or anything. I just find it better looking with some more width.
Remington trimmers are often made in China. I have one and rarely used it until I grew a moustache. The trimmer that I have is rechargeable and came with several attachments. It has not been used much but recently I charged it up, not once, but several times overnight. After my last outreach to Remington I spoke with a representative who told me that it would no longer hold a charge since it was worn out. So now I have to deal with replacing this trimmer
10:50 Ouchh... I hated the feeling of sharp hairs inside my nose after cutting them. That’s why I prefer using eyebrow tweezers to just pluck those hairs. That way, I can blow my nose safely
So true. We notice the nose forest 🫣 not sexy (some men should also check for spider ear hairs) 😳 Popping in to help bro tame his thick beard mustache before he heads off to a wedding... today. Thanks for the insight 🤗 we didn't even know the bit to stop trimming the stache when you reach the beardline ~ very helpful 🎉
Forget about using Remington products. I had a $ 20.00 trimmer which was made, of course, in China. It came with several attachments. I rarely used it except to trim my sideburns. It died on me a couple of years ago when it failed to hold a charge. I contacted Remington and they told me " .... oh well, it is not meant to last and you should go buy another one " I have been shopping around and there are a host of trimmers to choose from but I think that I am going to go to a local retailer and buy a Wahl trimmer. These people have quality made trimmers and as I recall they are made in the USA.
We both have the same look - bald head, exact same beard. What's super interesting, is the single white hair in the middle of your moustache. I pluck mine :)
I always did something similar until some people online told me to have a handlebar you should grow out to the line of the upper and bottom lip meeting. What is your opinion about this?
Help, I’m growing a simple medium beard and have not trimmed my sole patch in 170 days. My wife is complaining about kissing and the hair covering my lower lip. Has anyone trimmed or shaved about 1/16” below the lower lip? Bad idea? I’ve been married 20 years and only started a beard since vivid-19.
Yeah, I wondered when someone was going to pick up on that. I think I've done that on more than several occasions 😅. Congratulations, you're the first one to point it out on this video. 😅👍
@@GregBoswell428 I see now that I just didn't scroll back enough in the comments. But still, I'm definitely trying this method next time I trim the stache. Do you have to deal with hairs that grow in on the upper lip? The sides of my mustache basically are already in my mouth as soon as they start growing. It's another thing I've never seen a video dealing with, aside from your'with the grain' as opposed to against technique.
Almost wanted to hand over my glass of water through my screen so that you could spit out the hair, haha! by the way don't lose the charger of your remington! I accidently threw mine away and found out that they don't make them any longer (mine was barely 2 years old) Anyway, great video man. Beard on! (y)
How long did it take initially to grow your beard to that length I’m 27 been growing mine for about 3 months and it’s still only like a half inch at its longest
It's been four weeks since I shaved and my first beard attempt ever, mostly because of my career. I notice my mustache is way darker and heavier then my beard and my beard has plenty of gray or silver in it. How do I offset that dark black mustache look?
@Dan Paul I came reaaaal close to thinning mine out like Greg did but after I combed it down I was looking at it and thought you know what it looks fine when it's combed.
So, I'm 55. I've been trimming a mustache for a while. I respect your opinion. I don't know everything. Happy to learn something new. Google "the Right Way to Tie Your Shoes."

I had one of those trimmers in the 2000s. I've also adopted George's trimming technique it's ingenious. Great video, Greg!

My beard looks a lot like yours. How long should I trim the corners of the mustache? Should they be short, or rather should they be left to grow down into the beard?
Me personally, I trim it to match the rest of the beard. I don’t want to have to keep up with a mustache groomed outside of the beard
Thanks Greg, just the video I was looking for. Will be using the smile technique for sure

I used to do that but it causes pimples to form in my nose when I do
do you recommend going against the grain to trim? doesn't it get all the hairs to the same length?
I feel pressured to trim my mustache. You and George Bruno covered the same topic the same day...😊👍
