Fashion may come and go but a full bearded man is timeless 👍
No , it's trendy beard time
A beard is full time job, a big responsibility. It's almost mathematical, measurements, quantity, angles. I'm learning something new about men and their beards every day now. I have a new found respect for the Beard. I used to just admire a mans full beard and wanna touch it, I had no idea just how much goes into a sexy full beard. It's not just about growing it out and brushing it. It's almost mathematical, there are measurements, the quantity you want to remove, angles of the facial features, the size of the guards, the precision in a guard free trim, the steadiness of the hand, the confidence after the end result. How can you not love a man with a styled beard. A man who styles and cares for his beard is showing lady that he loves himself just as much as he loves her by gracing her with such an outstandingly trimmed beard.
I take my hat off to all men with beards. It makes you look dangerously sexy. Okay, I'm going to stop now.
Somebody is feeling hot 🥵... 😂
Great description on beards. I am going to start growing mines out. Thanks for the push
You can touch it anytime. 😉
Thank you love
@@machoman6969 that's so sad. I'm sorry you feel that way abt women. My condolences.
I watched one of your videos on beard trimming about a year ago and it really helped me out. I usually went too short with it in the past. I appreciate the tips.
What a fantastic video. Keep up the great work. Your patience and detailed instruction will serve everyone in their beard journey for years to come.
MAN I'm glad I found your guide after watching 4 other videos that didn't really apply to me. I'm long, going short same length as you, followed your #7 goatee area and #6 sides. Flattend the bottom and then shaped the jaw. It turned out exactly how I wanted! Wife's happy I'm happy! Big thanks brother!!
You posted this awhile ago. I just wanted to thank you for it. It was EXTREMELY helpful to me. I've always had a relatively low cut beard. Being middle age I had never grown a big beard. Well I achieved success grew that big beard and I wanted to take it down some just not as low as before and I was leary to try after all the work of growing it. Because of your video I feel I am armed to give it a try. Thank you again.
Best video I've seen yet on beard trimming. Thank you!
You are the man. I have been trying for a month to find someone who could teach me how to use my trimmer and you are the first guy I could easily follow. THANK YOU
Glad I found this. Always grow a long beard for fall/winter and find it hard to bring it back down. Thanks brother!
This was the most informative, and straight to the point video I have ever watched. Thank you. I planned on trimming tomorrow and now I feel confident in what to do. You made it looks so doable.
Impressive transformation. You really do make the trims look easy! This came at just the right time as I will be trimming Saturday.
Very cool! I hope this helps
You worked magic sir! I tried it and it's perfect. Thank you for the video and cheers from the Netherlands.
Thanks for the tips. Growing out my first beard. Targeting this medium length look. You made the neckline look so easy!
I think you'll like this length. It works out well. Thanks for watching!
The right side still looks thicker then the left side after all done.
Great step by step explanation, number one beard channel, greeting from the UK
Looks great man! Excellent job! Thank you for your thorough content
Great video man love the in depth tutorial. New sub!
yo, I've always grown a beard fast but I've never let it actually grow out before. this was super helpful for taming that 2 month beard back into something cleaner that I liked. I really appreciate you covering the varying lengths for the sideburns, mustache etc since I always struggle with those, even when it's short
bookmarking this for future reference, ty!
You make it seem so easy, great video, one of the BEST.
Great video as always! I always look forward to the beard videos. Thanks for the advice and tips!
Thanks for watching!
I love the black and grey look
I always go to your beard trim videos, they are the best! I was thinking about a trim regardless, but this video came out at the perfect time, as I trimmed my beard last night. Thanks again for these tutorials!
Thank you very much!
Super smooth trim. Really good guide and the beard looks great man!
Thank you very much
You make the neckline look so easy. Great video 👌🏼😊
Thank you very much!
Thanks very much for all of your videos. 4 months ago and at the age of 50 I decided I'd take a beard journey for the first time in my life. I got a ton of compliments on the new look. Well it was time for the first trim. I stumbled on this video and really helped out a lot. Your videos gave me the confidence that I could trim my beard myself. I'll check out your other videos on other ideas for the next trim.
Thank you! Let me know how it went.
Going to give this a try. If I were flying solo on trimming, I wouldn't but now I can. Thanks man.
Hey Greg, thanks so much for all your tips. You have made my beard look great since I have been watching. 👍
Fantastic!
Thanks bro. At 30 I am growing my beard for the first time. I went with an 8 instead of 7 and it turned out great.
Looks great! Haven't trimmed in 13 months. Maybe this weekend will be the time. Thanks Greg.
Let me know how it goes 👍
Thanks for the video! About to follow this, wish me luck!
That was a fantastic tutorial and your shorter beard looks amazing. Thank you
Thanks!
Instant like my friend. The best beard channel out there! Stay healthy and continue the nice work. Greetings from Europe!
Thanks man, I appreciate that!
He is such a good teacher 👍
Awesome video Greg thank you so much. Your videos really do help and are so useful.
One of my care nurses takes your instructions to trim and maintain my beard and I just love the results.
Being able to stop pause and rewind is a huge help especially as a quadriplegic for my body decides to tremor at the most awkward moments lol🙃 Thank you again Greg 👍👏🙏🤗♿️
I love comments like this! It's nice to know it's helping others.
Great job. Number 2 on the mustache looks great and was a good choice, especially since it’s gonna grow out quick anyway.
Great job Brother,
I love your work. You make it look doable. You give me great hope. I ALWAYS fuk up..
But like you said.. it'll grow back.
Keep up the inspirational work.
You have the steady hands of a surgeon!!! ;-) Well done!
When I grow up, I want a beard like Greg Boswell. 😀 Great video Greg. First time I have see your videos. Really solid tips. Going to work on this face bush. Thanks again.
Looks Great! Thanks for sharing!
Perfect length, great tutorial👍
Been looking for a video like this for awhile. Thanks Brotha!
You bet!
It looks good 👍 I need to do that too switch up my beard length appreciate the video
Using this tutorial has given me the best beard I've probably ever had.
Thank you so much. So simple yet effective.
Great to hear!
Amazing video thanks for showing us how to keep it growing and neat 👍
Looking good as always 👍
Nice trim
Thank you!
Awesome video. I don’t know if I’ll ever trust myself to do it.
Great video with very helpful advise, as usual. Thanks for the tips ! You did a great job shaving your beard ! Looks great at that length on you. 👍 Magnifique !
Thanks, Michael!
You Sir are a total legend!..thanks for all your videos 👊😊
I appreciate that!
Superb video. Looks awesome
Thank you so much for this! I had a beard nearly as long as yours that I had let grow out for about six months. I had been wanting to trim it down, but had been putting it off as I do not know any good beard barbers near me. With the help of your video, I was able to successfully trim my beard down. Even got a few compliments from other people. Thanks again for this tutorial!
That’s really good to hear!
Well done, looks very professional..
Nice job man, Thumbs up. I like it. Thanks for sharing, great tips.
Great trim. Very well done. 👍
Thanks
Bro you are the most inspiring thing i found on youtube lately. Giving such on point tips! Please make tutorial about your clothing style and your face care products :)
Thanks man, I appreciate that!
If only you could grow out a long beard every week.. Imagine all that content! Well done my friend!!
I've thought of that before, too 😆

2. Wahl Aqua Trimmer
@Tom Wise thank you
Thank you for showing how to trim a shape like yours ❤ it's exactly how my husband(and me too 😉) likes his beard too go from long to short. Although we were not equipped as you are, I was able to apply your technique to what we have to shave.
And 🤩 rrrrrrr, he's looking good ❗
Pretty impressive job buddy 👊🙂
Excellent Video! Thank you!
Hey Greg - love the videos, been super helpful in trimming my own for the first few times. Would love to see a skincare routine video in the future!
I'd like to say I have a skin care routine, but I dont.
@@GregBoswell428 lol make one....for us. 🤷♀️ first timer here thanks for the upload 👏
Good looking beard brother 👍🏻 Wish I could grow one half as nice.
After being "in the wild" for about two months, I was full Duck-Dynasty. I needed to get back to my usual Mil-Spec Operator beard (issued to me in Afghanistan), but the last time I went from long to short I ended up effing it up so bad I just took it all off, which was tragic. This vid was everything I needed, and nothing I didn't. Thank you.
I love your beard trimming tutorials, and I don't speak English but I see them translated, you're a boss!!
Thank you!
@@GregBoswell428 One question Greg, if you can help me.
Is it really that important to go for hair? I mean, instead of using a 2.2cm one in this case, if I used a 3cm one in favor of the hair, the result would not be similar?
Going in favor of the hair, I notice that the hair that always stays longer is from below the earlobe, not the one on the chin, which is how I think it should be.
Why do you see it as important to go in favor of hair?
Really impressive, very good look
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Mate, I wish I'd found your video before I attempted to follow someone else's advice on trimming my beard. Great advice 👍
well done, man! I had to chop off almost everything outside the goatee-area because of the need to carry a ffp2-mask at work, nevertheless it’s always interesting to change look. Especially as I wear my head hair open as you do 😁
Been growing out my Covid beard for 7 months. Time to trim(says my wife) You make it look easy so I think I’ll “try” to follow your excellent example
I think it'll work out well for you
👍 Greg, another excellent video! Cheers 🍻
Thank you!
my man Greg , short beard is perfect for you ! this beard lenght is the best lenght for your face and bald head shape ! Awesomeeeeee
Thank man! I think it may be, too.
I'm going to be going shorter and shorter and making tutorials along the way so you guys can see how it looks and decide what length you may want to go with.
@@GregBoswell428 That's what I'm talking about !
Great video dude! I normally keep my beard the length you started with in the vid. Wanted to try something new and gotta say I really like it. Will admit though had issues going to a 7 and did an 8 instead!
That’s good too! I actually have a video where I did that. It’s called How I Trim A Summer Beard.
You are A Beard Trimming Master! Big Thumbs Up. Thank You for your Content.
Thank you
awesome video brother!
Appreciate it!
you should check out stirling soaps beard oil, specifically the menthe one, it's fantastic and cools your beard
Nice job Greg ☝🏻⚡️
Thank you
You had me at the guards but when you went free hand, pretty certain I’d botch that all ta hell. Great instructions though!
great beard like that looks good at any length your lucky to have such a nice beard me not so much
Looks good greg
Really Awesome styles and your video ❣️
Thanks brother!
Thank you this was super useful!
I'm so glad!
Tomb 45 clear shaving gel is really nice also if you have never tried it.
You have a real great beard!
What a legend
I’m glad you had that small tea tree mint “goof up” because for the longest, until I saw this video actually, I thought guys were saying tea treatment.
I’d love to see a video from you starting out with a months growth and taking care of the beard growing it long.
That's a real possibility. I'm going to be taking my beard shorter and shorter this year and then probably growing it back out long again.
Great video Greg. You could have stopped at almost any stage in the video and the beard still looked great. Finish was superb as always.
Thank you very much!
Looks great!
Thank you
Awesome tutorial. As a bald guy I can see how it might look better on myself (also bald). #goodwork
Tools: I need a good T-blade trimmer. Much easier to sculpt and make crispier cuts.
Looks great!👍
Thank you!
I don't know why, but I enjoyed watching this so much that I wished I hadn't shaved my beard just to be able to trim it after watching this video.
I know what you mean. I've been there many times.
It grows back brother
@@GregBoswell428 do you have wash your beard before you trim it
Great, I always thought to use a template with holes, mark holes with marker remove template, follow dots 😀
So much better Greg
Faaaaast. Impressive. Brave too, but ... your beard wears all the different lengths nicely.
Fun video to watch.
Thanks Mitch, I appreciate that
"It's hair... it grows back"
Me staring at my bald head.... RIP 🪦
🤣🤣 I mean the beard, not the head
@@GregBoswell428 🤣
Good video. Well done.
Looks great! You clearly suit any size beard. In another life I was/am a straight razor collector, user and sharpener - they are great for the neck and cheek line too, though you obviously don't need help in that area (and you definitely don't want to use a finger as a guard with a straight razor!!).
Not sure if I'm ready to go shorter yet but this has been saved as my go-to video when (if) I do. My issue is that I am fairly thin (and have white hair) on the cheeks (more so on the right side - I think maybe because I sleep on that side), and time and length has helped cover the thinner spots. Though, it looks like the sides don't get hit very hard in your trim and as you say hair grows back. Maybe when we come into our summer (Australia - so Nov or so) I'll give this a shot. Thanks Greg - great video as usual.
Thanks man! Let me know if you end up doing this 👍
Your so right about both sides growing different! My rights side isn’t as full as my left by my jaw and it’s irritating to me I like that whal I have one too but not with that T blade I gotta get one of them! It’s also difficult to trim the mustache right under the noise with a guard, I gotta freehand that and blend
Perfect length with #7
great video greg i like this short beard
Thanks
I went much shorter about 1.5 weeks ago. It seemed like a lot of hair, but was just a little clump of hair. You have great beard hair follicle density... The beard looked awesome before, and still looks epic after the trim. 🔥🔥🔥
Now you have to shake out your shirt, and vacuum the bathroom lol
That's the truth! Thanks for watching.
Nothing feels better than after a good number two
Looks awesome :)
Thank you!
