I loved the stubble look. I met my husband when he didn’t have any facial hair and over the 25 years we’ve been married, he’s been slowly growing out his beard and it drives me nuts. I love him but he knows that I’m not a fan of facial hair. I literally told him that on our first date. I realize that it’s his face but I have to look at it. I keep my hair the way he prefers. Time for that one is stopping now. I’m cutting and coloring my hair to something he doesn’t. This is pretty cool for her to see him like this. 🥰💈💇🏻♂️

I just shaved mine off after a long time, it was big, bushy, and mostly grey. My mom asked me to do it. Reasonable request, doesn't hurt me any, and she's not going to be around much longer, so why wouldn't I do it? I look 10 years younger, and going into summer my face won't itch as much.
My husband had a beard when our daughter was born. One day when she was about 18 months old he shaved it. Those of you who’ve had little kids know what I’m going to say. When she saw his face her face was filled with horror. She looked away and looked back crying. But she wouldn’t go near him. He is a handsome guy so it wasn’t that. It was like someone took her Daddy and replaced him with someone else.
In cases like this one (father with little children) is better that the father invites the child to watch the actual process of shaving the beard, so the children don't get scared with the results.

Ancient Romans shaved my guy, so did the Ancient Egyptians. In many sculptors and paintings, even pubic hair is portrayed as shaved off. It was a symbol of wealth and was hygienic to do so. But depends where you are. In places where the greater civilizations like Romans didn’t reach, like Northern Europe, I guess people were poorer, lived simpler lives and yea didn’t care much about shaving probably.

I just shaved mine off after a long time, it was big, bushy, and mostly grey. My mom asked me to do it. Reasonable request, doesn't hurt me any, and she's not going to be around much longer, so why wouldn't I do it?

I only ever wear my beard like 1,5-2cm long, but the reactions I got from female coworkers when I showed up shaved were shock and terror.
Beard was extremely important and no one would ever shave it in ancient times except if you committed crime.
Ancient Romans shaved my guy, so did the Ancient Egyptians. In many sculptors and paintings, even pubic hair is portrayed as shaved off. It was a symbol of wealth and was hygienic to do so. But depends where you are. In places where the greater civilizations like Romans didn’t reach, like Northern Europe, I guess people were poorer, lived simpler lives and yea didn’t care much about shaving probably.
