I swear my one of my biggest pet peaves is when I go to a barber they cut the top beard line down lower and lower to almost a chin strap and I have to remind them everytime leave it wide.

Too funny when I first started turning gray I quickly realized it kept you out of trouble. "What up OG or Unc" is common greeting I get from younger brothers. No hard looks or posturing just greeting an they move on...On another note my other older brother say because they don't know you maybe their father....

I honestly never cared about my beard until I waited a month to get a haircut 🤷 and my 💈 asked me how do I want it, I simply said do the usual and then we did trimmed my beard, I can't tell you how many compliments I received on a daily basis because of my beard. If you don't have one, then get you one because the ladies go crazy for the Beard

Another thing I have a hard time with is using those straight razors on myself. I get the regular Gillette's with the razor blade on the top when you flip it upside down and have a way easier time than using those straight ones. Just the angle is better for self usage to me

Get one of those beard guide templates, the plastic ones and a white barber pencil. Use the template and draw it on, then trim it using the line you made from the pencil. Makes it easy to get the line real straight and crispy because it's highlighted by the white pencil giving contrast you wouldn't get on regular skin.
