Here in Argentina actually it's more unexpensive to buy this brand than most "drugstore brands" from the U.S so it's very useful to me to see reviews like this, and I been thinking about some melatonin products but didn't know how efficient and well researched this ingredient was, thank you for all the info!!
I’ve been using a melatonin moisturizer that I get on Amazon for a couple of months now and I love it and it’s only 15 bucks. These companies are crazy with their prices we need to collectively refuse to pay $165 for a moisturizer.
I swear by isdin!! I have years using isdin always recommend it by my dermatologist and I have never paid that price for that serum😐 this brand is from Spain, the best way to get it is from ebay directly from a seller from Europe (usually they are farmacies) give the products some time and you will love them, their sunscreen are amazing, the ampoules are fantastic. Isdin is very reputable brand in Europe, I'm using it since I was in my 20's and I love it so much.
Pacifica actually has a great affordable melatonin cream with granactive retinoid. It's the Wake Up Beautiful Overnight Retinoid Cream and luckily it's also fragrance free! I got it at Target and when I've used it my skin was so soft in the morning, but who knows if that was the melatonin.
So glad she made this video. I splurged on this after a facial and also had the same reaction, warmth and redness for a minute on my neck, while also not having very sensitive skin. It feels nice and looks nice on my skin though.
Thanks Dr Dray for highlighting topical benefits just order Relaxing Night Cream M10 PRO with Encapsulated Melatonin vitamin E and Peptides cant wait to try. They do non fragrance version and please please review this!! Thanks 🙏
Ouch! That's quite pricey! You are pretty glowy today, thought maybe it was your sunscreen, but maybe it's the Isdin! Thank you for another great video, Doc! Be safe out there, I saw on the weather this morning that the Dallas area is in triple digits! That is brutal, combined with the Humidity! See ya tomorrow :-)
Be carefull with Isdin's sunscreens tho. 2 years ago (more or less) an independent study revealed that some Isdin suncreens labelled as spf 50+ were in fact spf 15 or less (even suncreen for children!). This was a huge bomb in Portugal because Isdin was a very respected brand by the general public. Their products were removed from the market and I don't know if they reformulated them or not, so take them with a grain of salt
I've been using a melatonin cream by Leeds Lab, and it's called Golden Time Melatonin Cream Liposone 6%. I use it every morning before sunscreen, and love it.
I can imagine that a huge hype of melatonin as a "fountain of youth" could drive some folks to take supplements randomly instead of just applying a tiny amount of it to the skin
Video idea to consider: Caring for Gray hair. I am an older man with a full head of hair still, but it has gone gray and I have been growing it out. I have found some challenges because I have fine hair and now it's gray and not as strong as it used to be.
Isdin is an amazing brand and is really popular in LATAM, they are computing now with La Roche y Eucerin that’s how big they are, I love their susncreens spot prevent with super high UVA PDD 61 and I just got the Isdin fusion water color so far so good ✌🏼 but I get mines abroad since they use new generation filters and the ones that sell here are mineral
Appreciate the review. Too expensive for me though. You're looking extra pretty in the blue top and the makeup! Happy Tuesday, Dr Dray!! I hope you have a nice evening. 💕
Thank you Dr. Dray! Will keep an eye out for melatonin in skincare. Unfortunately, this has fragrance and alcohol in all their products and will not try but look forward to you finding one that doesn't! Thank you!
I am using Facetheory Relaxing Night Cream M10 PRO that has melatonin and I'm loving it. I found it after you did the first melatonin video. And they make an unscented version!! My neck is usually very fussy about most ingredients, and I get contact dermatitis when I try new things, but not from this one. I am curious what you think of it!
Acure has a Melatonin cream that seems to be fragrance free according to the ingredients. Acure Ultra Hydrating Overnight Dream Cream, 100% Vegan, Intense Moisture For Super Thirsty Skin
Dr Dray, Would I be able to use my Skin Ceuticals CE Ferulic in the morning, and the ISDIN Face and Neck Cream at night, without buying the ISDIN Serum? Thank-you!
Love the videos! Are there any studies linking inflammatory skin conditions like acne to Covid infection? I have had acne in the past but it was under control, however after getting Covid in May my skin has been crazy! I also broke out in hives from Covid so I was wondering if there could be any relation. Tons of anecdotal stories from others going through the same thing for months after getting Covid.
The vaccine has effects on hormones. This is being documented and you can look it up. Causing many women extra heavy flows during PMS - as well as break through bleeding in menopausal or women taking hormones blocking medications. It could have to do with the hormones shifting. We know hormones have a strong influence on our skin and acne.
@@marissalorraine8700 Very true and I’m thinking that’s the link… I think there is also a big inflammation component as the hives also stuck around for a good 1.5 weeks. The acne was most around my lower cheeks (like the contour) but also my forehead, and these are the two areas I broke out in after I got off birth control a couple years ago so it seems hormonal.
I am having hormonale inbalance after getting covid, getting acne while i normally dont and my period is very irregular after getting it. (Spelling / not from An english speaking country )
It also happens to me. I got covid on January then I got mild acne on April, I thought maybe it's an allergy from pollen so I didn't pay much attention to it till it gradually become so severe....my derma put me into doxy treatment for just 3 weeks coz it's summer time and I often got severe burn on my face. 😔Covid surely messed up my immune system
Odd coincidence; I was at my Derm yesterday, lamenting that my eye cream of last 15 yrs had been discontinued…Yes, I know your thoughts on but I am probably twice your age and have been using eye cream my entire adult life and I can honestly say I don’t have eyes like women my age! That said, she gave me generous samples of 3 different eye creams, one being the Isdin Vital Eyes with melatonin. Having sensitive skin, I will exercise caution, but now I am really excited about taking it for a spin! It too, though, is really pricey 😫
Hi! Don't know about Melatonin, very nice and particularly I wanna prove. If possible, can you test the L'Oréal Age Perfect Cell Renew with the Midnight Serum, look so interesting because have many antioxidants in formution... thanks 💜💜

Dr Dray, thanks for this video. I went to my dermatologist today and asked about Retin A. Because I have Rosacea they recommended this because of the Bakichiol which is gentler than a retinoid. Can you do a future video on this serum in the future discussing that particular ingredient?

Have you heard about Face Theory melatonin moisturizer, they have fragrance and fragrance free versions? I’m tempted to buy it but would like to hear your opinion.
Hi Dr. Dray! I have some product recommendations for you to try (if you haven't tried them already.) I've been using the Cera Repair Barrier Cream by Biotherm and I find it works quite well. It does have scent, but it's not an overpowering scent. I have sensitive skin and haven't had any problems. It has a creamy but light texture. Its also less expensive than some products. I also really like using the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream during the winter.
Dr. Dray, I have sought topical melatonin since your video a few months ago. I found Face Theory’s Melatonin Night Cream and like it a lot. I would love to know what you think about it. It’s not very expensive even though you have to order it from the UK. On another note, I have been using bifida ferment DNA repair serums like the melatonik you reviewed, and I get the same reaction you do. Please do a video on sunscreen and it's effectiveness since it is so hot, if you have a sunscreen that has been ordered online and obviously in mail carriers hot trucks will it still be effective?? I'm thinking of returning a few I ordered because of this 🤷♀️
Hi Dray, I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the reformulated it's skin LI effector. I ordered it and it smells like it has fragrant rose oil in it now... do you have any other licorice root products you enjoy?
Others she's recommended include CeraVe resurfacing retinol serum, Cetaphil redness releiving night moisturizer, Procure Rosacare. Another product with licorice (and there are a lot) is Faded by Topicals.

Dr. Dray could you please review Rhode Skin? Thanks so much :)
There are several reviews of this line already by derms dermangelo and tea with md. Dr Alexis Stephens has recommended a couple of the products in her peptide video. James Welsh has a video but the best all around review right now is probably by Abbey Yung.
I’m confused about how to use my products. How do I use the ISDN MELTONIK SERUM & my 8% Tetrafoliant serum?
