Existential dread is actually a pretty common symptom of an ongoing heart attack, your brain can tell that you are literally dying and it manifests as the worst fear you can possibly feel, the adrenaline released in response to fear helps to somewhat keep the heart going but depending on the type of heart attack it can make it worse. The woman comes to you and quickly informs you of getting out of the hospital for a heart attack. Changing her thought process and not interrogating her about the suspect (her son) would've been the better move. Change the subject, get her mind off everything until she's able to calm down. This particular day the defibrillator went off as she was having a heart attack. I called the ambulance and once they arrived and assed her and was placing her inside, she said to me ; “I’m scared , don’t leave meI!” I said “I’m going to the hospital with you.” I was actually going to follow the ambulance and meet her at the hospital. But', The EMT actually allowed me to ride in the ambulance (nothing but GOD) . I will never forget THOSE WORDS -I’m scared and don’t leave me . With the LORDS help, I took care of My Mother until the day she died. I’m also a Mother with a grown son who displays LOVE and RESPECT. I definitely thank GOD for him and pray that he continue to be covered and continue to be a respectful to ALL in a time such as this. Because it could have been me. My Prayers are with this Lady.

If you can cook well, consider buying a used, small semi-truck then you can turn it into a food truck later on, as well as adding minimum required cooking tools, those are so portable these days. Food truck makes very good money for a starter if you have ok recipes! Without a degree, that is the best option to make enouh money for yourself and the kids. Those other employed service jobs pay pennies, unless you work as hookers at those freaking bars and clubs, but please don't go that way your kids will leave no respect for you. You can even start learning to cook for free now from these online channels and websites, but it'll take some time. As for your physical health, learn breathing methods such as in yoga, meditation, that'll take care of your up-and-down mood/emotion!
But, for your mental, you need to decide for yourself which way you're gonna go, if you feel like you cant go on, u need to keep reminding yourself: "I'm done w him, he's manipulating me and treating me like his owned pets, not a human. Any time he acts nice to me, there's an agenda behind it, to make me feel guilty, it's just his trap, don't fall for it.." If you're still indecisive, dont waste your time starting anything! I hope you find some inner strength and trusted support to get out of the DARK. But make sure that you know what your LIGHT is, otherwise, you might as well fall into another DARKNESS on the way getting out of this one.. best luck to ya!

Unpopular opinion here. Mom said he was her best friend?! Yeah, NO! She may have had a heart attack but right now that voice, to me, sounds full of fake woah is me. She also wants help from the police from her abusive son but she doesn't want him to go to jail. She's probably coddled her best friend his entire life, and here we are. Many sources, but this is a perfect one: Elderly grandmother who also does this. Makes herself sound feeble and hunches her shoulders down when she wants sympathy.

As a survivor of both DV & SA, I just want to let you know that I _actually_ appreciate you bringing awareness to Domestic V*olence/Abuse.
I understand that it can be difficult for some to watch (there are some that are still difficult for me to watch), eventhough I left Dec.10th 2014. I still have a DVPO, along with my Concealed Carry (I'll do what I have to, in order to protect my little girl and myself).
Because of what you said about why you previously hadn't covered DV, you could always put ⚠️DV⚠️ in the title or (DV) at the end of the title. That way... anybody who's triggered by it or doesn't want to watch something like that, would know not to click. Just an idea. I personally think it's important to show the different types of DV/DA. A lot of people don't understand what it's like, and many don't think about DV being between a child and parent. Most just think it's between partners.
Thanks again for bringing awareness to the public, and for having compassion for victims/survivors♡
    Take Care

I like u describe yourself as a survivor. We are many. Sadly so many of us turn to alcohol or drugs and can't find a way out. I spent years drowning in a bottle. When I was young ppl didn't talk about SA and DV. I reclaimed my power and my soul at age 42 and sober for 26 yrs. I now help women who've been where I was.
I was lucky to have a counselor who didn't say I had to forgive him. I only had to forgive myself and came to know I really had nothing to forgive myself for.
May you continue to have peace in your life. TY for your post. Very brave.
I have hope for many still suffering. For those who are
.... Emily Dickinson penned these words...
Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune, without words, and never stops at all.
